We love the pizza at Giro's. It's not very big but they use the space wisely. The waitstaff is always great. Last time we sat at the bar and had a lovely chat with the bartender. We're still exploring Italian wines and she was very knowledgeable about their selection. I definitely recommend trying it out if you haven't yet.

One of my favorite spots for dishes. The carbonera and lasagna are on the top of my list.

Giro has a special wine diner once in a while and it is the best food around. Tonight we have a special menu and great wines.

I really like Giro Trattoria & Pizza. I love their pizza, especially the pizza that you. A choose a different topping for all the slices. The meatball appetizer is also very good. They have a nice wine selection and beer. No cocktails. My husband liked the Caesar salad with shrimp. I recently had the Chicken Al Limone. It is delicious and a large portion, so I was able to enjoy one of the pieces of chicken for lunch the next day. It has the perfect amount of pasta. Service is always good. I hope to make one of their wine dinners one day.

Another visit another great experience! Love the food here and the pollo salad of so good! The pizza is fantastic with real cheese and quality toppings - the crust is super thin which I love because I don't have all the guilt that goes typically with pizza but it's so so good !! Stopped in for lunch on a whim not sure what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised! Upon walking in we were greeted and immediately sat.. the music was wonderful and ambiance was great.. very relaxing environment and wonderful service so far... So the pizza is all you can eat if you so choose it is $18.99 per person and the flavors and toppings are endless ..the pizza has a thin crisp crust and flavorful authentic toppings the taste is very reminiscent of Europe.. My husband Ordered the Pere as something new to try the and the pears were thin sliced and tasted wonderful mixed with the walnuts, Gorgonzola and a honey drizzle - quite a treat and a wonderful twist .. he also tried the Vulcano a variety of meats and very good. I order the pollo salad and what can I say except it was hearty flavorful and absolutely delicious! The dessert pizza is included and the strawberry cheesecake was delightful! Strawberries and Nutella?!! Who can go wrong with this combination!!! Yes it was great .. although we are not too sure about the crust it didn't seem as though it was cooked all the way through.. but the toppings were great! We will be back!

A real Italian chef who tries to make authentic Italian food, if their deli in back had more items I might give this 5 stars.

I had the macadamia crusted sea bass and the short of it was it tastes like vacation. My husband had the steak frite. The steak was perfect with chimichiri on top. It was divine. Our waiter made at least four separate mistakes throughout the meal, but one was completely avoidable and had real consequences. We specifically asked him to have my young son's chicken and fries cooled before bringing them to the table because we didn't want him to burn his mouth. He acknowledged the request, but either forgot or ignored it. The food came out straight from the fryer, and within seconds my son burned his mouth exactly as we were trying to prevent. As a parent, that's incredibly frustrating. We communicated a simple safety request, and it wasn't taken seriously. That alone overshadowed the entire meal. For a restaurant that prides itself on providing a high-end dining experience, the level of service we received was far below expectations. Multiple mistakes throughout dinner, combined with a preventable incident involving a child, left us extremely disappointed. We came expecting great food and professional service. Instead, we left frustrated, disappointed, and questioning whether customer care is truly a priority here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because no family should have this kind of experience over a simple request that should have been easy to get right.

Service: 1/5 We were seated pretty close to our reservation time, so things started off well...until our server showed up. Our waitress had a noticeably unwelcoming attitude. Culinary Mastery in Flower Mound: A Transcendental Pizza Experience…read more It is a rare occurrence to encounter a dining establishment that treats the humble canvas of dough, sauce, and cheese with the reverence of a fine art gallery. Yet, tucked away in a pristine, modern shopping enclave in Flower Mound, **Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza** is doing exactly that. As a connoisseur who has traversed the country in pursuit of the perfect pie, I can say with unequivocal authority: this is not merely a meal; it is a masterclass in culinary composition. The Atmosphere of Excellence From the moment you cross the threshold, the experience is curated with precision. The environment feels fresh, intentional, and inviting. However, the true heartbeat of the restaurant is the service. In an era where genuine hospitality is increasingly elusive, our server, Claudia, operated at a level of executive-tier care. Her ability to balance professional attentiveness with a warm, family-oriented touch, even proactively engaging our four-year-old with a dough ball, was a masterstroke of guest relations. The floor management followed suit, providing not just oversight, but narrative depth, sharing the remarkable history of the founder's O1 Visa, a rare, prestigious designation reserved for individuals of "extraordinary ability." It is fitting, then, that the kitchen produces work of such caliber. The Gastronomic Journey The prologue to our meal, a Caprese salad paired with house-grade bread, oil, and balsamic, set a high bar for quality. The tomatoes and mozzarella were remarkably vibrant, possessing that elusive, sun-ripened depth that screams farm-to-table integrity. Then, the protagonists arrived: The Elisa: A triumph of balance. The interplay of ricotta and mozzarella provides a lush, creamy foundation, while the white truffle oil elevates the profile without overwhelming the palate. The addition of honey and black pepper creates a complex, symphonic finish that keeps the taste buds yearning for the next bite. It is, quite simply, an exercise in culinary restraint and harmony. The Star Beckham: A visual and structural feat, the star-shaped crust, filled to the brim with ricotta and bacon, is an architectural marvel. Removing the red onions allowed the savory depth of the bacon and the brightness of the basil and ranch to coalesce into a flavor profile that feels both innovative and deeply satisfying. The Traditional Pepperoni: Even the most basic offering was executed with technical perfection. When a four-year-old, the most honest of all food critics, declares it the best pizza they have ever consumed, you know the foundation of the dough and sauce is impeccable. We were further impressed by the beverage program, specifically the Mastri Birrai Umbri Blonde Ale. Its crisp, clean finish was the perfect accompaniment to the richness of the cheeses, proving that the beverage curation is just as thoughtful as the menu design. The Final Verdict We left Flower Mound with empty boxes and full hearts, the memory of the meal serving as the primary topic of conversation for the entire duration of our road trip back to El Paso. A "great" pizza can be found in many corners of Texas, but an *extraordinary* pizza is a distinct privilege. Mister O1 does not simply feed you; they transport you. My only professional grievance is the significant distance between El Paso and Flower Mound. If you find yourself anywhere near the North Texas area, treat this as a mandatory pilgrimage. It is, without reservation, a must-visit destination for anyone who treats pizza as a serious culinary art form.

Atmosphere: Bright and open in a strip mall with some outdoor seating. Nice table settings. 1 Star…read more Service: Fantastic. Our waiter explained the history of the shop as well as the menu. He never made us wait for anything and was very polite. 2 Stars Food: We ordered (essentially) 4 pizzas and a Caprese salad. The Caprese was fantastic. The high quality EVOO that was served with it was very fruity and delectable. We had the classic pepperoni pizza, a 1/2- 1/2 Federico and Meat Lovers 2.0, and a Maria. All three were very good. I like a little more sauce on mine with a bit more "tang" to it, but it was still good. Crust on all were that perfect crispy that would hold up to just holding it from the end crust. 1.5 Stars Overall: Good pizza, and next time we will try the "Extraordinary" pizzas which have ricotta stuffed in them. 4.5 Stars
