    Alfredo pizza with pepperonis

This pizza slaps so hard. Crispy on the bottom everything is perfect. I don't know what else to say.

Amazing Amazing meal at Alfreda. We are still thinking about our pizza AND salads from Alfreda. Cannot wait to go back. The service was great the space was cozy and the food/drinks were perfect. If you want great pizza in DC, go to Alfreda.

I've been here twice now, with timing spaced far apart and the pizza was incredible both times. The Alfreda dipping sauce is also out of this world. But price is definitely tough--as much as I love the pizza, the bill gives me sticker shock each time I go.

Forgot to take an earlier picture until after we ate - Alfreda pizza and plain pizza with mushrooms.

This place was wonderful and a great addition to the DuPont circle scene. They have deals every weekday from 4-6pm with a bogo pizza (not you have to buy one plain and another of your choice and toppings are extra). The pizzas were so good, especially the Alfreda pizza. My friends and I got the plain with mushrooms, though I would choose another topping next time. They don't accept reservations but because we came early, it was easy to find a spot in the restaurant. It did get filled up after a bit on a Friday night. The ambiance is great and they have blinds if the sunlight may be too much. Overall, definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

This place is a banger. It's never super crowded and their bogo deal + happy hour is the best in the city. $8 for spritz drinks (many choices) and then buy a pizza, get another free. Can't beat it. This is my third time here in just a few months. Will be a repeat spot. Great location in Adam's Morgan. Staff is super nice. Go here!! Happy hour and bogo is 4-6 Monday through Friday. This pizza SLAPS!! Super cozy and great for a dinner before a night out or fun date night. Forgot to grab pics of the food!

I always take a risk ordering pizza outside NJ/NY/CT. Fortunately I came here on a holiday weekend so the locals were away and there was no line and lots of empty tables. Ordered the plain and white pies and both were delicious with just the right amount of crunch and cheese to sauce ratio. There's an ample selection of alcohol to down the pizzas. There's only strange occurrence as the waiter kept coming to my table to show the food that other people had ordered before delivering it to their tables. Odd. Not odd enough to prohibit a return!

This place is pretty great. They've got a great few spritzes, but I think they should offer more for a place that's all about cocktails and wine. They should have more spritzes but the ones they have are good. The pizzas are also pretty good. Maybe a pasta dish or two should be a added. Not a big menu. You can kind of go there once and you've seen everything they've got. But that one time is pretty good. They should trust their chef with more. There's a real opportunity in this area for a nice, but casual Italian spot.

This was a tough one: the pizza was pretty good, but was it worth $29 for a 12" individual pie? Likewise, while I got takeout and everyone was very friendly, I was stunned to find a 20% service charge tacked on to the bill, which they removed as soon as I asked about it. And the $14 Caesar salad was not bad, but definitely not worthy of so much money for a side salad. Regarding the pizza: I ordered the Alfreda with sausage, and it was very good. Neither great nor New Havem caliber, but a solid pizza. Good crust, quality cheese, a bright tomato sauce, and very tasty sausage. But I ask a rhetorical question again: was it worth $29? IMHO no pizza is. The entire takeout meal set me back nearly $48 including tax. The bottom line is that it was ok but I would not repeat as I felt it was overpriced while nothing truly special.

Alfreda is such a wonderful addition to Dupont. The pizza is top quality with a crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and thoughtfully made. Their salads are also amazing--especially the chopped salad, packed with fresh produce and crunchy sourdough croutons. The pizzas are super simple, with toppings added à la carte, which can make for a pricier pie... but they offer a solid happy hour from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, featuring BOGO pizzas and $8 spritzes, which is a great deal. The wine and cocktails don't miss either. Highly recommend adding Alfreda to your pizza rotation!

Delicious pizza. Simple straightforward ingredients and execution. Started with a cocktail, which was solid but a touch unbalanced for me (leaned sweet and gin heavy (purity). Got the chopped salad which was a great appetizer, tasted very fresh and bright, a touch overdressed but delicious. Then the pizza. Thin, crisp crust, does not flop at all, good toppings and cheese, very delicious and I left nothing. Will be back to try more

Super cute. Ultra chic. Hospitable staff. Authentic quality pizza and a pretty great wine/beer/liquor selection. Fun and sophisticated vibe. I definitely want to return with a more intimate friend group.

We sat outside on the patio and it was a gorgeous day. The decor is perfect and I love that they've added plants to cover the staircase. Drinks were delicious and the food came out quickly. Our water glasses were rarely empty. Service was kind. Food wise if I were to stack rank I would say the hummus is the best of what we ordered. The pita bread is thick and garlicky and oily and massive. The croquettes would be at the bottom of my list simply because they're dissimilar from any I've had before and a little bit underwhelming. The tuna was fresh but it's a small dish and not much to write home about. The lamb skewers have a subtle kick to them and they're pretty substantial. I'll definitely be back to try more! Highly recommend on a warm summer day as you're covered by the canopy above, if you're looking for a rooftop vibe.

We grabbed a seat and did not wait long for our food to come out. I really enjoyed my burger and scarfed it down! I paid for sauces, which were tiny and super overpriced. Hubs enjoyed his cheesesteak but he prefers meat. I had a bite and thought it was really flavorful and very closely tasting like the real thing. I noticed later this is a chain, which is pretty cool. I think the prices were pretty steep so I might skip on the fries next time. The food could have been warmer as well. Definitely worth a visit and will most likely be back when in DC again.
