    Pinwheels

I tried some pinwheels from here. One sausage and one pepperoni. They are small, so it's more of a snack than a meal. Both were delish! Just the right balance of meat, cheese and seasoning. There's a few tables inside, so it's more of a takeout place than an eat in one. Workers were nice and personable. I would return!

If I could give it a zero I would. Worst pie I have EVER had. Ordered a "grandma pie" and it was completely inedible. Absolutely disgusting. Will never go back to this place ever

Received in the mail on 5/16/18, informed the offers expired the day I called to place an order 5/17/18. Printed expiration date is 1/31/19

Buyer Beware! Given that I work 60 plus hours a week, I would order from Alfredos at least once a week. This will be changing as I had received a take out menu with coupons in the mail yesterday. When I called to place an order, the greeter attempted to inform me that those coupons were expired, which have a printed expiration date of 1/31/19 on them. Rather than proceeding with the order, the guy who answered the phone began arguing with me stating "the manager said they are expired". This negative experience from a 'dime a dozen' business that relies on repeat customers has me searching for another pizza place who respect their customers enough to honor deals and promotions. Even Domnio's or Pizza Hut will at least honor their deals, even if their pizza tastes like microwaved pizza, I'll buy from them before buying another dish from Alfredos!

    For tellini Ala Vodka

Just moved the the area and this place come up as the closest pizza delivery. On a lazy Sunday we felt like ordering in. Ordered through Grubhub. Came fast. Food was very good. Will definitely be ordering again We ordered tortellini ala vodka and a chicken hero.

    Uncooked pie

Every time we order from here it's worse and worse. And they need a pan to make a regular pie which shows how bad it actually is.

Every time I visit I always grab a few pizzas to bring home and I always make sure to ask to upgrade to DOP ingredients. This place is as authentic as it gets. From the oven, which was imported from Naples, to the owner being a certified pizzaiolo, and the amount of DOP ingredients in use and available, there's a level of care and respect for Neapolitan pizza that you can taste in the each pizza. The ingredients are excellent, the crust is consistently great, the dough has the perfect chew , and nothing feels like an afterthought. Over the years they've grown in popularity and have added several new items on the menu, to include pizzas, but the ones that stay constant in my rotation are Moms, The Margareta (DOP), and the meatball with ricotta. For me, they make the best neopolitan pizza on Long Island. I also love that it's connected to the pork store next door. There's something about the whole setup that feels like a throwback to my childhood and the kind of Italian American places I grew up around that seem like there's so few of today. Going to Saverio's is more than just grabbing a pizza. There's whole experience has a warmth and authenticity to it that's increasingly hard to find...and while you're waiting for your pizza, going next door and buying some food, whether it's cold cuts, cheeses, or pasta is very much a part of the experience. Saverios is genuinely one of a few places I always look forward to visiting when I'm on the Island. You should check it out if you haven't already.

I definitely think these pies are best eaten fresh out of the oven when you can really get that nice crunch, but even after bringing them home, they still tasted pretty damn good. What made it fun was ordering a variety so the whole family could try a little bit of everything. Everyone ended up having their own favorite, which always makes for a good debate at the table. Mine was definitely the fig--the combination of flavors just worked for me. Good pizza, great service and a fun way to do pizza night with the family. Next time, I'm grabbing a slice straight out of the oven!

We had Greg as our server and I have to say, he really made our night. From the moment he came to our table he was warm, funny, and genuinely made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. He knew the menu inside and out and when I was torn between two dishes he gave me the best recommendation without hesitation. He checked in at all the right times without ever feeling intrusive and just had this great energy that set the tone for the whole evening. Honestly Greg alone is a reason to go back. The food was so good too. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were way more generous than I expected. We got specialty cocktails to start and they were so good we ordered another round. Dinner was delicious but the highlight for me was the homemade pistachio cheesecake for dessert. I am not even a big dessert person but that cheesecake was something else. I am still thinking about it today. If you are looking for a great night out on Long Island, just go to Mama's. You will not regret it!

My family and I are still reeling from our experience here this week. The food here is very good. We all agreed. Unfortunately, we also agreed that the "service" was about the worst we can remember having anywhere. Our server was a male, perhaps mid 40s, light hair, little ponytail, not very tall. We did not get his name. Right from the beginning we noticed something seemed off about him. He was rushing, was clearly agitated, aggressive, and rudely interrupted us when we attempted to ask questions. Appetizer salads arrived at our table even before we were finished ordering our dinners (we still had menus) and when we asked him to *please* slow down, that we wanted to enjoy the dinner, he raised his voice and got visibly angry. We saw him walk away, throw up his hands and shake his head, all in plain view of us. His behavior continued throughout our meal and made the entire experience so unpleasant and uncomfortable. When he brought over a bowl of soup, he said, very loud and sarcastically, "There's a spoon there for ya!" Honestly, he seemed so worked up, I was worried he was going to dump the thing in my lap. Dude clearly has issues he brought to work with him. We also noticed this person openly coughing into his hands, rubbing his nose, and then serving food to another table. (We did mention this to another server as that is pretty disgusting.) We were celebrating a birthday and when we came in we asked the host at the door to please put a candle in whatever dessert we ordered. We provided a bag with a candle. Well, we ordered dessert, but the candle was MIA. Nothing, nada. When we left, they gave us back the bag, but the candle was missing. (!) By this point we weren't even surprised. (And they told us the candle had been in the dessert. It definitely wasn't) One star is for the food, the other is for the kind woman with the long dark hair who also tended to our table for the first hour or so. This is clearly a nice restaurant with a good reputation and good food, but sadly, our visit was terrible; a very bad experience and one we wish we could forget.
