Went in just before 8pm on a Sunday. We weren't greeted until we spoke up. Placed my order for all you can eat salad bar and was told to go look at it becausethey were letting it runout and would not be refilling anything, also there was no regular ranch. It looked very low but I was in the mood for salad so I got it anyways. The lettuce was horrible, obviously well picked over since mostly really large pieces were left and bottom of the bag remnants. I picked thru and found enough to sort of make a salad although I would need a knife to cure the large pieces. I just didn't understand why they wouldn't refill anything more than an hour before closing. There were 3 people there already plus 3 more that came in after us for salad. If they are going to do that it should at least be discounted. The worker then shut the salad bar down completely at 8:20. We were then also told that we could only sit in one section, as the rest were closed. Half the TV'S were already turned off too. A family came in after us and the kids couldn't utilize the game stations. The service was horrible and it made us feel like an inconvenience. I won't be back. read more

I thought the people we dealt with were very friendly - the pizza wasn't amazing, but it was good. The salad bar, again, not amazing, but pretty good. And we fed 6 adults and 5 kids with drinks and salads and 2 X-Large pizzas for $35. Um, seriously, $35. Again, not life changing quality of food, but the ambiance was great for a group, the people were friendly, the kids loved the free Xbox and N64 games, and it really deserves 5 stars on the value-meter (but Yelp isn't strictly value-meter, so it gets 4). Scratch this one off my list... I decided to start checking out the pizza options in the area, including this one, found off Yelp (shameless plug). Got a small two topping pizza and it was only $7. That was the good part. I don't want to finish the 2/3 of it I didn't eat, for starters. I would accept $7 to do it, honestly. Place just feels kind of like a Pizza Hut about to go bankrupt. The pizza looked unappetizing and lacked any kind of real flavor. In short, I'm sure I've had better pizza at chuck e. cheese's. It has some small town charm, I'll give it that. What a disappointment as we were looking for something hassle free, delicious, and hot as it was our first night moving into our new home as Monroe residents. Years ago they use to make a half way decent pizza but as the years have went by the crust has got thinner and thinner and the toppings less and less. Its to the point now its not much better then a frozen pizza you can pick up at your local grocery store. This is the pizza that I grew up with. They are a bit pricey but they take ANY coupon, they are half off before 2:00, and they are half off if you order an unbaked pizza "to go". So if you pay full price, you're a sucker. My fav is their Garlic Chicken. Extra points for having Scuttlebutt's beer on tap. read more

The pizza is always good and the staff is super friendly. It's a nice, comfortable family place. It's great for birthday parties or any other type of family get together. Passing through Monroe, we stopped by for first time during lunch, which is half-off from 11-2 and a good deal for good pizza. The staff was very friendly and even noticed my credit card and gave me a military discount without my asking on top of the half-off pizza. There are free old-console video games for kids and there is plenty of space. Not sure why so many negative reviews but maybe things have changed and it's worth a try again for all of you naysayers! read more

Tonight we had my nephews birthday at Alfys in Monroe. As we were leaving I discovered my daughter misplaced her lovie (aka her comfort item she has had since she was born). I asked if the person cleaning the room saw it. She didn't respond so I asked the man at the counter " has someone turned in a little dog looking blanket" he looked in a drawer and said no. I went back to the room and looked through the trash. On my way out I asked the man for a manager. He said it was him and I got his name (Sebastian). I said "could you help..." he interrupted me and said he had more important things to do then look for a stupid stuffed animal and that i needed to leave. I then asked for the owners contact number and he said it is corporate owned and I needed to figure it out. My sister then went in to look for the lovie and the man told her I called an employee a "stupid Mexican" and that she needed to leave. Never in my life would I ever say anything of the sort about anyone, that is not me! It shocks and sickens me that I was accused of something so awful. I am just a mama looking for my child's toy. I have a coupon through the Entertainment app. I ordered in advance and when I came to pick it up and use the coupon they wasted a bunch of my time trying to figure out how to use it. Finally, the manager came out and said they wouldn't take it because it wasn't their coupon. I said your address is on it and I got it through this app. Manager said we don't have an app. Of course you don't have an app you are a local pizza chain. It is an app that I pay for to gain access to local coupons. If you don't want to be on the app don't, but don't advertise a coupon then not honor it. Manager was totally rude and just walked away. So walked into Alfy's pizza in Monroe. First of all they were super busy. Which not to surpised on a Sunday at noon. We order 2 all you can eat salad bars 2 drinks and a xtra large half and half pizza. Went to pay I only had a bill on me I was spending almost 40$ he told me he does not have change really rude like. Personally I did not believe this due to how busy they were. So I left walked to o'reilys in the same parking lot and they changed my hundred for me no problem didn't even make me purchase anything. Went back order our food. Salad bar was good. But that is kinda hard to mess up. Now I haven't had Alfy's pizza in some time but I am pretty sure the crust that I got was not proofed enough because it was floppy soggy and gross. Does anyone remember the time when Alfy's was good? I think most of them have gone out of business now, and I can see why. . . its fallen a long long way. OK, any place that has free video games to keep my kids entertained AND decent beer on tap to keep me entertained is off to a fine start. The pizza is fine -- nothing to write home about, but certainly a step above Little Caesar's or Pizza Hut, which puts it a step below Papa John's and Sahara and definitely out of the league of any haute cuisine. But c'mon, it's cheap and family-friendly -- that's why you come here; let's keep it in perspective. A better salad bar would earn 4 stars -- like others, I've been disappointed in the variety and quality. The greens are fine, but more fresh veggies, meats, and toppings would help. I was calling all over Monroe this morning around 10 trying to find a place that delivers lunch so that I could have it delivered to my boyfriend (25) for his birthday at work. After many fails I finally got the go ahead from a girl (dont remember her name sadly) and she said she could definetley have it there by 11am. She not only went out of her way to make a delivery when they were opening but also threw in free cinnamon sticks for his birthday and a balloon! Great beer batter crust! At least I think that is the secret ingrediant. For the life of me I cannot recreate Alfy's pizza! So I of course pay for it. As a native Snohomish county resident I feel like most of my life has involved Alfy's pizza. Its nostalogic for me every time I see an Alfy's. Our kid birthday parties, church events, little league, and average lunches included Alfy's. The pizza is good! The lunch special is the best deal around. Sometimes when I travel and feel like pizza and cannot get Alfy's I'm reminded what a special gem this place is in Washington. Also, I like supporting local businesses. Our first experience at this restaurant was ok. My husband, 16 yr old daughter and myself were in the mood for pizza and, being new to the area, we disregarded the negative ratings and took our chances. It's pretty expensive for a pizza establishment. We ended up spending over $50 for our lunch, which consisted of a one-time visit for one to the salad bar, a soft drink, a pitcher of beer, a personal pizza and a large two topping pizza. Everything tasted pretty good, and it wasn't too busy for a weekday at lunch hour. Several of the tables had plates of food and empty glasses on them, so maybe we missed the lunch crowd. We left feeling like we would visit again, and that's where the trouble started. After a day out school shopping, my daughter and I decided to stop and pick up a pizza and take it home to eat. There was a sign on the counter saying that there was a "summer special" going on; any pizza, any sauce, any toppings for various prices. I asked for an extra large Royal Alfy's with Alfredo sauce and stuffed crust. The price was $17.99 but the stuffed crust was an additional $2.00. I agreed to the price increase and paid $19.99 and was told it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. It was ready in 20 minutes and my daughter carried the pizza to the car and sat it on the back seat for the 6 mile drive home. My mistake was not opening the lid of the box and looking at the pizza before we left the restaurant. My husband was home waiting for us and when I opened the box my heart sank. They had given us some sort of thin crispy pizza with thick fat tomato slices sliced in half on the top. There were no toppings whatsoever on the outer edge of the pizza about 1" from the edge. There were sporadic pieces of toppings scattered around that make no sense. It did not resemble the description of a Royal Alfy's in any way. I immediately picked up the phone and gave them a call. I explained who I was and that I had just left. The young lady on the other end said she remembered me and before I could finish explaining the situation she began to be argumentative and saying that I said I didn't want to spend the extra $2.00 for the stuffed crust. I said that it was partially my fault for not looking at the pizza first but that I didn't get what I asked and paid for. She said, in a very snotty tone, that she would have them make me a new one, but that I'd have to bring the other one back. Perhaps they have had problems in the past with people wanting a free pizza, but I wasn't one of them. I said that I lived 6 miles away and that it would be 18 miles total if I had to come back to town, and she let out a sigh and said " so what do you want to do?". I just hung up the phone and made up my mind that what I wanted to do was to never visit their establishment again. Her horrible argumentative attitude sealed the deal for me. Such a shame that a mere employee holds the fate of customer satisfaction, but that is the power she was given and I will find a new restaurant for my family to visit. read more

We come to Alfy's for the salad bar & soup. Alfy's offer a large variety of nutritious choices in their salad bar. They also have very good soups. If you are into healthy eating you likely haven't considered eating at a pizza parlor. However don't miss out on their salad bar. So, where to start with this restaurant nightmare; the poor service, the mediocre food, or the rude inconsiderate staff and management? First, because their kids food sucks and our 2.5 year old son won't touch it, we brought in nuggets from a fast food place. As we settled in to order our lunch and gave our child his food, management informed us no outside food no exceptions. Clearly not aware of toddler psychology the manager insisted in causing a massive tantrum. Despite this breakdown it was really in our best intrested to leave and save our cash since the salad bar is poorly stocked and the food is usually very bland anyways. I use to really enjoy Alfys pizza. The last time I ordered we noticed it was salty. Decided to give them another try and once again salty, but this time the dough was undercooked. My bf ended up instantly vomiting after eating. Pizzas are overpriced, I was originally going to buy 2 medium pizzas to have it delivered, they said it was going to be $46! Mind you this does not include a tip for the delivery driver. Ended up just getting one xl pizza and it came to $32. Driver never looks happy or talks to you. I called and they said they would refund me my money, hopefully they don't back out of that. read more
