Meh. Below average, small portions and a little pricey. Yes, it's Westlake. I would go elsewhere.

The vegetables arrive so fresh that even the most resolute vegan might momentarily forgive the unapologetic abundance of beef, lamb, and chicken beneath them. The sauces are lush, indulgent, and impossibly smooth--crafted with a decadence that feels almost improper to describe. The fries? Crisped to perfection on the outside--twice over, it seems--while the interior dissolves into something closer to silk than potato. And then there is the staff: disarmingly kind, effortlessly charismatic, and possessed of a presence that elevates the entire experience. The towering proprietor, all 6'8" of him, greets guests with a smile that borders on euphoric--especially when he places into your hand a perfectly chilled stein of Enegren Valkyrie. The beer selection is not merely good; it is curated with intent and reverence. Each pour feels like a quiet passage to the old country--a place you may not want to leave once you arrive. In short, their meats linger in the mind long after the meal ends. We are fortunate, indeed, that two gentlemen from Deutschland chose to share their craft here. PROST!

The Naderi Kabob, done medium rare and Albaloo Polo (cherry rice), we're literally delectable. I didn't get a chance to take a picture. Sorry! My bad. The restaurant is at the site of N old Persian restaurant, but completely redone, and redecorated. Staff are professionally trained and service is just excellent. Can't wait to visit this place again. Come for a date, come with family. Update! Update...my second visit in just as many months, and the service and quality remain excellent. This time I tried the combination filet mignon and ground beef kabobs. In a word, Delish! Wait! Is that word? Desert was fresh

I ordered the salmon plate, and it was flavorful and fresh. The hummus was yummy, the side salad was lightly dressed, and the salmon and rice were well flavored and filling. This is close to where my client works and it was a good place to have a casual meeting and get some lunch. There is indoor seating, but it is a tiny space so eating outdoors is more comfortable. There's a Boba spot next-door and Starbucks is right across the parking lot in case the meeting runs long and we need our sugar/caffeine fix!

They didn't have a good drink selection at all. It was fancy juices and a small glass bottle of Diet Coke. I would've preferred a big glass of ice water or a fountain Coke Zero. Let's talk about the seating and order pickup. We had to sit inside in an alcove. We had a big group of 6 people, and it was right next to the kitchen. There wasn't much room there. On each table is a QR code to either order or just to claim your table for your order. It's not obvious how to do this. If you forget to connect your table to your order, you will miss your order, and it happened to one of us. Food was good, and people enjoyed it. There is just too much tech to have lunch. First red flag: no dramatic shawarma carving. Instead, the chicken came out of what looked like a mystery bowl of regrets that may or may not have been sightseeing on the counter for a while. Everything on the plate was impressively cold, like it had just come back from a weekend in the fridge. The chicken tasted less like fresh shawarma and more like leftovers that have seen things. The only item showing any signs of life or heat was the pita. Three plates for $60 felt bold. Not premium dining bold, more like did I just pay full price for the practice squad bold. We usually do a lot of catering from here and have never had issues, which makes this even more confusing. Did we arrive too late, or did the food clock out before we did?
