When we realized that we were too old to bribe our friends with pizza and beer in exchange for moving services, we decided it was time to grow up and get movers. But we're not so grown up that we planned our move weeks and/or months in advance. Instead we called Aliance on a Monday for a Friday move. Not only were they able to accommodate our short time frame, they gave us a stellar quote and a 4 hr time estimate. Day of, the guys showed up right on time and hustled through our move. They were quick, friendly and careful with our possessions. Dino and team handled my two part local move and I was pleased with their professionalism. My belongings were moved from one house to storage and then weeks later from storage to my new home. Dino is a tetris master - fitting all my items into a tight storage unit and his guys were friendly, STRONG and efficient. We just finished Part 1 of 2, of a move from Glendale to Palm Springs. Let me tell you how easy this was: Dino works with urgency - he answers his phone, shows up ON TIME, and sets a "Go Go Go" tone for his guys. He reco'd the storage place and they have that same level of customer service that Dino provides. This has taken a lot of uncertainty and stress off my shoulders. Bravo! Also, call him "Sting" because he wears black and yellow sneakers that match is black and yellow truck. Be sure to pronounce it correctly like your French: ALIANCE = "al - aaay- aunts"...not "uh-lie-intz". Part 2 of 2. Our schedule stretched a month longer than we liked, but Dino was there when we were ready! He made himself available on the date we needed him, and he and his crew loaded up the truck, closed up the storage unit, and brought our stuff 3 hours away! UPDATE - Just used Dino again at the beginning of Oct. 2014 to move from Encino to Granada Hills. Again, he was reliable, nice and efficient. One of his guys broke the window of our back door. I wasn't upset because - well, that stuff happens. Dino had it fixed the next day and paid for the whole thing without question. He took tables apart and put them back together, took handles off of the fridge, and did everything we asked. But honestly, I use him because his customer service is great. I actually canceled the move two weeks before at the last minute because we didn't pack it all in time, and he just said no problem! Then I rescheduled a week later and again it was no problem.
