    Cute little diner

Very small old looking diner w/ very friendly & helpful service. There are a lot of gluten-free options and even more posted on the wall. We were here for breakfast, so a 3-egg mushroom tomato omelet, toast & potatoes for me and "The Lumberjack" for him, 2 choices of meat, 2 pancakes, 2 eggs & home fries. Bottomless coffees. Great stop for quick breakfast run on a Friday morning.

Horrible service and we will never order from them again. I placed an order through them on door dash for a steak and cheese grinder, a banana crepe, malasadas, and a cinnamon roll. When I say you're better off saving your money and ordering your food from any other place in the city, you truly are. The food looked and tasted mediocre. On doordash, the grinder is said the come with French fries and didn't. The manager proceeded to tell me that it normally doesn't which isn't true. The "Crepe" is a pancake with nothing in it besides the fruit you want chopped up. And the fried dough and cinnamon roll were over fried and burnt.

First the place looks run down and not clean. The fries were greasy and cold. The Fish tasted like frozen store bought. The Club sandwich is suppose to have 3 slices of bread. Cut in quarters. This sandwich had 2 and cut in half as though they were in a rush. Avoid this place. Im not a food snob. Come on you can even make a basic Club Sandwich.

The best. Homemade hollandaise sauce made from scratch. Cooked to perfection. Not out of a package like 99% of restaurants. Home run.

The dining room is small and cramped, and though the joint was hardly hopping, there was only one table available. The waitress was chatting with a regular and took a while to bring us menus. I asked for water, she brought me a bottle for which of course there was a charge. Boo. I was quickly distressed to learn that the menu options differed from those shown online, which is stressful for me since I tend to frequent restaurants where I can plan my order ahead. No shrimp Mozambique and no malasadas, both of the two things I'd planned on ordering. Luckily I did ask the waitress about the malasadas, and she said she'd ask the cook to make one. I ordered the S.O.S., which was underwhelming. The hamburger sauce was almost totally flavorless, and I had to add significant salt to enjoy it at all. The eggs were perfectly poached though, which was a nice surprise since restaurants can pretty regularly get those wrong. The malasada was cooked perfectly too and had a great texture, however the flavor was... fishy, and I'm pretty sure it got cooked in the same oil as their seafood. While I'm grateful I got something technically off-menu I'd have preferred a nonexistent malasada to a haddock-flavored one. The check took quite some time to come thanks to more regulars-chatting. Forty bucks for three people is more than I like to pay for dive breakfast, especially of disappointing quality. If you want good, fairly-priced diner breakfast in Fall River with a big menu and comfy dining room, check out Dunk N' Munch on North Main :)

Small quaint restaurant with good food and fast friendly service. Been here many times always busy, but not too busy to give great service.

Good food at a reasonable price. Small eating area. Big enough for about 30 people. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

Absolutely beautiful dining atmosphere…read more We called last minute for reservations and they were fully booked but managed to get our party of 4 on the south patio which is covered. The views were beautiful. We started with cocktails at one of the high top tables- to note there isn't service to these tables we had to bring the drinks from the bar. The parking lot was packed. Testament to a restaurant to be this busy on a Monday night. The food was excellent- well prepared and flavorful. We shared a desert. Everything was well prepared and the flavors were spot on. What a beautiful hidden gem!

The shrimp fritters, was the best thing I ate, but everything else was just ok. On my end I think I should've tried one of the popular dishes, as I think getting a chicken sandwich was trying to be too much on the safe side, and it backfired, as everything was dry. The chicken and bread was just so dry that even the sauce on the sandwich couldn't save it. The highlight of the place is the outdoor view and ambiance of the place, so I automatically expected it to be really good. Even with the negative views on my end I think this place is 4 stars and in the right situation it can be 5 stars. Going on a busy Saturday in July is always going to be tough for a place to be perfect.

It definitely has the little clam shack vibes that makes the experience feel even more authentic. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I ordered a clam chowder cup and a hot lobster roll. I don't know if it was because I was there in the winter, but the lobster roll was generally affordable, running you only a bit over $27 which is almost unheard of these days. And they didn't skimp out on the meat too ! The lobster roll was filled to the brim and so delicious. The clam chowder was also incredible. I also love that they have a little market in case you want to make any of their seafood at home ! Will definitely become a staple when I come back to visit my parents.

I went on a rainy Monday around noon and there was still a steady flow of customers. It seems to be a pretty popular spot. The staff is all very friendly. The soups were served to us immediately after paying. The New England Clam Chowder was good. Nice amount of clams and very creamy. I had never had Rhode Island Clam Chowder before and this seemed like the place to try it. The clear broth was surprisingly flavorful but I still prefer New England. My girlfriend and I ordered a good amount and the food came out pretty quickly. My favorite was the kung pao calamari. The squid was fried perfectly and having the sauce on the side was nice as it didn't leave the breading to get all soggy and I had control over how sweet it would be. The stuffed Quahogs tasted good but I feel like I tasted more of the stuffing over the actual shellfish. It still tasted good, but I feel like I should've gotten more shellfish. We were told they ran out of shells to serve them on so the presentation was off, but they were still tasty. The lobster rolls were both good. They were $27 which seems pretty steep to me but they were actually on the cheaper side compared to other places we saw around Newport. The lobster tasted fresh and the bread was good. They were solid lobster rolls. The food was all solid, but for the price I wasn't wowed.
