On our way home from Downtown Westport, we decided to stop by Lexi-Lu's for an early dinner. A good decision! I like trying the fish tacos and shrimp tacos whenever available (probably ordered them in 20 local joints). Lexi-Lu's fish tacos were extremely messy, but only because they had so much great stuff on them: lottsa fish, cabbage slaw, tomatoes, onions, and a really tasty dressing. The accompanying fries were crisp, good. I was happy the order came with two tacos. Many places give three tacos, and I can never finish three, always take at least one home. This seems like a really cute breakfast spot. I stopped in just for a latte (which was just okay---it was supposed to be lucky charms but def was trix), but all the breakfasts going out to the tables looked great and the staff was amazing. You could tell many of the customers were regulars and the interactions were so cute! I def would like to go back and sit down and enjoy a good meal and service read more

Grabbed some lunch while the weather was still nice enough to enjoy their outdoor seating area. Our server was friendly and took care of us quickly. Our food came out quickly and was great. The Pancakes were HUGE. The Twin Turbo Ice Coffee is Amazing as well. read more

We found this place one morning on the way home from surfing in Westport. WOW. Prices are so reasonable. Two eggs, Homefries and toast are still $4.99. They have fresh baked muffins every day and had 7 kinds the day we went. My caciola omelet was amazing. The eggs were fluffy and in there was no griddle grease at all. Bolos is an option instead of toast which I always love. Waitstaff was great! They also have outdoor seating, which was nice. read more

Pleasantly surprised on our 1st visit. I've passed this spot many times thinking it was more for truckers (not sure why) but im so glad we stopped by for breakfast on our way to Dartmouth because our meals were delicious! We chose to sit indoors even though they offer outdoor with shade. We were greeted right away telling us to sit wherever we wanted. Waitress was prompt with offer of beverages although she did not introduce herself and no name on shirt like other employees. I ordered the chicken Mozambique omelet along with sourdough toast, something you don't find at most places and home fries. My husband chose The 177, included 3 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 humongous pancakes and chose beans instead of homefries. His meal was perfect but mine was outstanding! Not only did I enjoy a proper fluffy style omelet but it was stuffed with moist shredded chicken along with melted cheese, topped off with a creamy based Mozambique sauce. The sourdough toast was buttered perfection and I hardly came up for air! I wasn't interested in the home fries because I focused on the eggs. Waitress never returned to ask how our meal was until we were finished. But she passed by so many times I could have called out if we needed anything. The interior was small but had plenty of seating and plenty of wait staff. Decor was Americana, along with black and white buffalo checked curtains and was relatively clean. Bring cash or be okay with a 3% charge if you use plastic. They have a visible sign stating that policy. Hope you try them, i'm definitely returning! read more

Stopped here for a Sunday morning breakfast for 6 of us, and loved it. We sat outside at a picnic table and everything was perfect. Especially loved our server Sam(Samantha)! She was "spot on" and extremly efficient and super friendly. Six different meals that came out at the same time and no mistakes. I would highly recommend this location for breakfast. read more

Well to eat there it's good but order delivery is a no because it seems directions can't be followed no pancake syrup for pancakes. You ask for utensils they don't pack the utensils. Funny thing is a friend says let's do breakfast after church Sunday at lexi lus umm no thanks. After ordering breakfast today and being dispointed again it will e a very long time before I order from here again. FYI veggie omelet it's canned mushrooms. Not sure why an egg white omelet would have so much water but then again could be from the canned mushrooms. read more

Went for breakfast on Saturday with my husband. This was our second visit and we sat at the counter. We were greeted quickly by our server Judy, given menus, and hot coffee. I ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes and my husband ordered an egg and french toast combo. They started getting busy and people had to wait outside. We waited a bit for our food and all of his came out first. I waited for mine and by the time my pancakes came out, he was half done with his breakfast. Unfortunately this happened the first time we came as well. Judy made sure we had condiments and kept our coffee full. My cinnamon roll pancakes were very filling and I could barely finish one. My husband enjoyed and ate all of his. The food is excellent, place was clean, and the waitress was very attentive. The only problem is the food didn't all come out at once. Big dissapointment since it happened before. Will probably return. read more

This is by far the best breakfast place ever. Warm and friendly staff. Outstanding fresh and well prepared food. Portions sizes are large. Specials ever day. Cinnamon rolls to die for. Muffins so delectable I could eat several. Her homefries are the best around. Prices are very reasonable. We go for breakfast at least three times a week and sometimes more! We finally were able to visit for breakfast and we were berry happy with our meals.... we ordered two of the breakfast bowls and they were def way better than we expected for the price. Lexi gave me good advice tween 2 bowls I was considering and she recommended getting a side of sweetbread to sop up the goodness. Lexi-lus is beyond your standard reliable neighborhood breakfast place. The flavor is just better- the home fries, breakfast sandwiches, the Portuguese bowl, crab cake benedict- all delicious. Service is always friendly, prices are more than fair. The pumpkin muffin is truly one of the greatest things I've ever tasted and I'll probably try (and fail) to make ones that are half as good myself. Definitely my favorite breakfast place in the greater Fall River area and I've been to many. Wonderful breakfast place. My personal favorite is Grace's Portuguese Benedict which contains chorizo (which locals pronounce "cherise," - Portuguese), so good I've intended to try other things and just had to get it again instead. Today I tried the bifana bowl, 1 of 4 bowls built on home fries covered with various items including eggs the way you like them. Bifana is pork steaks, in this case cut up small. It's tender and tasty here, because they marinate it a long time, unlike other places I've had it. They have a very large selection of breakfast dishes including the traditional ones and some vegetarian options. I'm fussy enough about coffee that I grind my own beans and I think the coffee here is very good. Wait staff is super nice and friendly, and also very professional. They may be suffering from short staffing as most places are but they manage well. read more

I go to this restaurant almost daily and it remains just as great as when it first opened, the food is delicious and pretty much made to order, there are several verities of breakfast bowls as well as the standard eggs and bacon. The entire staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating to your needs for food, the coffee is excellent and bottomless is reasonable. They are making homemade pies and Portuguese desert special for Thanksgiving and no doubt for the Christmas Holidays. Well worth the trip to WESTPORT for a visit. read more
