I will not take any of my cars back there. I thought this place was the best place in the, Valley. Nope. Frank probley did great alignments on older cars back in the day, but not no more. The new guy does them. He isn't anything special. As a matter of fact he poked a hole in a steering boot/cover. He wanted to see if it was leaking. Well it wasn't leaking, until he poked the hole in it. And yes I saw this with my own eyes. Thats a whole other story. And for 80 dollars its only guaranteed for 30 days. For 80 dollars it should be guaranteed for a lifetime, back your work.Another thing i waited almost two weeks for an appiontment, yeah never again.Its alignment. I bet all the Yelpers giving five stars are friends. It seemed like a lot of friends come in and out of this place. This is just my take and experience. You can do what you want. I had a disappointing experience with The Alignment Man that I feel others should be aware of. After my visit, I noticed issues with the alignment and brought it up. Rather than offering to recheck the work, I was told the minor problem pointless to fix due to worn control arms--and was immediately quoted over $1,100 to replace them. This struck me as odd, since I had just had suspension work done and inspected next door at Performance Plus Automotive. To be sure, I had a third-party mechanic to inspect everything again. They confirmed that my control arms were in good condition and didn't need replacement. At that point, I decided not to return and had the alignment redone elsewhere, without any issue. I asked for a refund due to the poor service and questionable diagnosis, but my request was denied. I understand not every visit goes perfectly, but I expected more professionalism and transparency from someone who markets themselves as a specialist. The receptionist was very knowledgeable, the waiting area very clean and pleasant with clean restrooms and even good books and magazines to read. I took my car in to have an alignment done. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience here. When I got the car back and paperwork, I noticed the wrong model car was listed on the top of the paperwork. I called him up to let him know he did the alignment using the wrong specs and wrong model car. He said it's the same and doesn't matter. Obviously, he was hoping I wouldn't know better and wouldn't question him. It doesn't take a genius to know that you can't align a car to the wrong car's specs. I'm sure there are no two different models that are exactly the same...different sized wheels, tires, suspension, weight, etc. I took my car to the dealership and had the alignment done again a few days later. They told me it was out of alignment, and they had to make adjustments. I'm sure it was just a simple mistake, since the two models are very closely named, but at my problem here is not admitting a mistake was made. If I didn't take it somewhere else later that week, my tires would be gone in a year. Huge cost out of my pocket for his small mistake and not wanting to admit it. I'm glad I double-checked his work. read more

Very disappointed with the service! I went for my 1 o'clock appointment and I was actually 20 minutes early. They took my car in at 12:50. I waited around until 1:40 when they came out and said that their Alignment machine was not working, but it was now working. 10 minutes later, they came out and told me that it was not working, again. I asked why they could not have told me that it wasn't working when I first brought the car in, an hour ago. They had no answer for that and just asked me if I'd like to make another appointment for another time, without even an apology for the time that I've wasted having to get to their shop and wait around an hour for nothing. Of course, I said no and left. It's really very sad, because Frank (the owner) has always been really good and I don't think he was even there. I was told my alignment was off and everyone seemed happy to recommend him, he charged me $60 and I went to get an inspection on my car a few days later (the service seemed to be too good of a deal). They said the alignment was off, even after his service, and it needed to be fixed immediately. He charged me to do a job that wasn't actually complete. Truly frustrating that he would take my money without doing the work. Wouldn't recommend if you plan on a reliable alignment service. read more

This place was highly recommended. Went to have alignment over a month ago and I am driving and my car is vibrating. Went to another mechanic and he said my brand new tires are worn due to car needs alignment. I don't know what this shop does but it is not alignments. So need brand new tires that tire shop will not replace due to car not aligned correctly. So out of a lot of money. Would not recommend and give no stars if allowed. I am a retired tech myself, I sent all my alignments to Frank over the years when he had his own location and shop. I had him do my personal truck recently and one of the cam bolts came loose on the pass rear upper A arm. I ran it down in the driveway and went back to see if he could "check it" He was indeed rude and said I would be charged again $90.00 if I remember right? Some things and people change...Too bad, I won't be sending anymore work his way... I found a found a guy on Ramon Rd to realign it before I ruined a tire. I called for an estimate on a wheel alignment and to book an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, the paperwork was in order and they took my car in immediately. I waited for them to do the work (very short time), and when I checked out, the cost was the same as the estimate. In addition, the repair man (sorry forgot his name) was great at explaining what he found while doing the work. How long has it been that a service provided more than expected to you? This is the place! Called a few tire companies for an alignment after purchasing new tires and they consistently referenced AA. Gave them a call and I asked to be waitlisted so I could take care of my new tires before a trip and the response was sure, never done that before but we'll try it...sure enough, a cancellation opened a time slot for me. Came in here for an alignment on my 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser, showed up a few minutes before I was scheduled. I was greeted by a nice young lady in the office, and handed over my keys. Price was pretty competitive, especially for a lifted SUV. Got in and out in less than an hour. Establishment is very clean, had to use the bathroom and was a bit surprised of how clean it was. Read the good reviews, and thought this sounded like the place to take my Mustang. I have been replacing parts... strut assemblies, lower control arms with new heavy duty ball joints and bushings, sway bar bushings, and finally, inner and outer tie rod ends, so it was time to get everything aligned. Frank was great to deal with, and had us in and out in about 45 minutes. The cost was less than the other places I checked with, and I know Frank did a good job and got my steering wheel pointed straight (which it never was since we've had this car!). I was super happy with the Alignment Man! I hit a curb very hard and messed up my alignment badly. I had originally taken to I-10 Toyota and they claimed there was nothing they could do for me and I would need to drop about $5,000 to replace the system. I took it to the alignment man to get a second opinion and I am glad I did! He ordered the parts he needed, scheduled my service date and completely fixed my issue. It took him about 3 hours, but I was happy to wait. He charged me less than $200 to do it all! I have been beyond happy with his service! I have already recommended him to several people. read more

We were referred by America's Tire company to the Alignment Man for you guessed it...an alignment! We were able to get a same day appointment and returned in two hours to drop off the car. Before we left, he had done a quick inspection. There were some issues with the trans axel and some leaking oil. We did in fact need an alignment, but Frank informed that we would be needing another alignment anyway after correcting the issues he pointed out. We drove our car directly to our car dealership and sure enough, exactly what was diagnosed by Frank were also the issues they found. Frank declined accepting the $20 he quoted us for the inspection and sent us on our way with a handshake. It's nice to find a good honest man running his own business. I had an apointment with this place but i decided to cancel because he was telling me over that phone that because my car was lowered he probably couldnt do it and he was telling me that he wont touch the coil overs to raise vehicle. i would have paid more money i need my car raised to stock height and alignment so i can stop having my tires eaten up so fast. read more
