We had 2 couples and they customized the menu for us based on our likes and dislikes. We got 5 courses starting with appetizers, followed by pasta (which I forgot to get photos of), then sides, entrees and dessert. Plus a little aperitif to start the meal off. Zero complaints about any of the dishes. My favorite dish was probably the artichokes and the steak. So delicious! The atmosphere at the restaurant was very fun and modern. And our server was very knowledgeable and helpful when we had questions about the dishes. If you want an even more elevated experience, they have a sommelier that will come to your table and assist with picking wine to pair with your meal.

You'll want reservations because it fills up quick. We were promptly seated and greeted my our waitress, Mary. She was very attentive and knows the menu. She explained every dish and made excellent recommendations. We all started out with an Aperol Spritz, because what says Italy more than a spritz!?! We ordered a few appetizers, artichoke, squash and asparagus. The squash was unique. It had pickled summer squash, a vegetable that I never considered pickling. Simply delicious. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and the sauce really enhanced it. Great side dish. I did not try the artichoke, but my wife and daughter both said they were amazing. For mains, I ordered the Aragosta fra Diavolo, my wife the Cappelletti and my daughters the Carbonara. All were delicious. The fra diavolo had a nice light kick of heat and loaded with lobster tail. Excellent dish. I highly recommend Shewolf. It's a phenomenal restaurant that takes pride in their food, service and the whole experience.

Loved the panna cotta too :) We hosted a private event for 15 people downstairs and Rebecca was incredible to work with from start to finish. Also chatted with David the owner; seems like a really hands-on guy and you could tell he really cares about the food, experience and his guests. The standout item was the ragu - next time I come here I legit am ordering 2 ragu dishes - it was divine! Best pasta i've ever had! The fondue was just okay. I was expecting it to taste more like the alpine fondue from the melting pot but it sadly did not. It lacked flavor (needs garlic or more wine). For the price of the weinerschnitzel, I would think they could give some carb or veggie on the side. Yes it's a good sized portion, but the presentation looked a little sad. Lots of cocktail options, but I just went with the classic aperol spritz and it was perfect. I definitely will come again on special occasions!

Most of our dishes were very tasty however I would not recommend the walleye panino. It was just ok and thought they were going to reinvent the fish sandwich but there is definitely other items that were very good. We also decided to go back yesterday for happy hour and sat at the bar and Brynn and Kelsey provided the best service I have had in a long time. They made the best martinis and were so fun and friendly! Our friends were celebrating their anniversary and we all had such a great time talking with them. I mentioned that we didn't a candle with our dessert the week before and they surprised us with pistachio gelato with a candle! It was so thoughtful and we were so thankful for the surprise! We definitely will be back for the happy and the great bar service!

My first impression: Noisy! Lots of hard surfaces. Difficult to hear the hostess, server and my wife. The tables were appropriately spaced for diners and servers to work with no bump & grind. We started by sharing a dozen oysters and the pear/walnuts salad. The oysters were a bit small-ish; but otherwise, excellent. Server took a drink order from my wife, but skipped me. Eh? I flagged down another server to order a Pino. It took a surprisingly long time to arrive. On the plus side, I was offered a taste to insure it was satisfactory - it was. The pear salad w/walnuts was excellent. The pears were sliced paper-thin. One of the joys of eating a properly ripened pear is the juicy explosion and thinly sliced pears defeat the juicy explosion. If the pears were fully ripe, perhaps cube them? Weirdly; the two sides (mushrooms, potatoes) were served before the entrees. The server noticed, seemed surprised and withdrew the sides, returning with our entrees (lamb shoulder, steak). Then the side returned. Both entrees were warm-ish and the sides were hot. The 14-day, dry-aged steak was ordered medium-rare and was seasoned and prepared as ordered. Again; warm-ish, not hot. I expected better beefy flavor for a dry-aged steak. One end was a bit chewy. Tenderness improved as I got to the other end of the steak. I ordered it with horseradish. I will admit to being a weirdo who loves spicy horseradish (and wasabi) that will clean the sinuses - this was "Ohio-spice'd" horseradish ... not creamy, but less spicy than Arby's Horsey sauce. The mushroom and the potato sides were served hot from the kitchen. Both were excellent, no complaints. The presentation of the steak needs improvement. It was a properly prepared, lonely lump of brown, served on a white plate with cracked ceramic glaze. The lamb shoulder was the better entree. For some reason, my wife was expecting Middle Eastern seasoning. The menu did not mention Middle Eastern seasoning and she did not ask, so that's on her, not the kitchen. I thought it was excellent. Gripe: After the entrees arrived, our server did not return to ask if the entrees were satisfactory. She did return later to ask if we wanted a second round of drinks. We did ... We were offered dessert and ordered, but never asked if we wanted coffee or an after dinner drink. Both desserts were excellent. Will we return? Probably ... not. With tip; dinner for two was $286. At this price point I expect better: Less noise, better beef and flawless service.

The decor is so cool and comfortable. The food was first rate, but what really made our visit so awesome was the friendliness and professionalism of the wonderful people who work there. First of all our waiter Scott, just a really fun guy who was so personable. He took such great care of us and seriously made our night!! All the other people we met were also great; they had a family vibe where you could tell they really liked each other. Everything we had was delicious and well prepared. The meatball, the watermelon and beet salad, the veal parmigiana.....yummy!! The desserts were over the top as well. We eat out quite a bit and this is the best restaurant we've been to in years!! Adelina is a beautiful name for a great place, it looks larger from the outside but the inside was intimate with dimmed lights and a quiet bustle of business as you would expect for a restaurant. Starting off with an Espresso Old Fashioned, an interesting twist with caffeine, a little too murky taste wise but enjoyable. First course the octopus. Deliciously roasted and served with garbanzo puree. And some kind of poorly executed concasser tomatoes. Flavor was spot on and the meat was tender and savory. Hits all the points there. Main, consisted of the beautifully executed mushroom ravioli. Porcini mushrooms and truffles adorn the flavor profile. I ate this one slowly. It didn't miss a beat. Pasta was made in house which is the best way to enjoy any Italian meal. Lastly my server was so cordial and professional she made this a nice visit. Too bad I didn't have anyone to enjoy this with. Next time.

We came around 5pm so it was still during their new happy hour (4-6, M-F) we ordered some cocktails which were tasty. Cocktails were all $12 during happy hour. We also got two apps from the HH menu, and one app from the regular menu. The pizza tasted like it came from a pizza oven which was great, the palomino dip was rich with flavor, and the shrimp had a great flavor to them. For entrees we got the salmon, meatball, and crab orchettie, probably spelled wrong lol all had good flavor. The polenta with the meat ball was a bit flavorless but over all good. When our bill came we noticed there was 15% gratuity already added and a 5% "service fee" also noticed the HH prices weren't applied. Our waitress did fix it quickly, which was appreciated. Overall a good dinner and will be back to try the brunch.
