Aliotti's Victorian Corner restaurant has been a staple in the Pacific Grove community for over 40 years. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday in a well-maintained, beautiful Victorian building. The interior is warm and welcoming with plenty of seating for individual diners or groups. There is also a nice patio out in front of the building to enjoy a coffee or meal where one's fur babies are welcome. They have three large, diverse, multiple menus which offer diners to choose from many of Aliotti's specialties and classic selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch, we enjoyed their Dutch Treat sandwich and a Cobb Salad. The Dutch Treat consists of ham & Swiss cheese on a warm French roll. The sandwich was large with a substantial amount of ham. It was served with a fresh green salad and perfectly cooked French fries which were crispy on the outside and pillowy-soft on the inside. Everything was delicious. Their Cobb Salad was plentiful with avocado, bacon chunks, hard-boiled eggs, turkey, tomatoes topped with blue cheese sprinkles over a bed of lettuce. I opted for ranch dressing on the side. What to do with that extra hour when we "fall back", especially when it is a beautiful warm November day? Go out to brunch down at Pacific Grove and enjoy it at a leisurely pace when there are more locals than tourists. The weather was beautiful to enjoy a flavorful corn beef hash with poached eggs and Eggs Florentine Benedict outside under the Victorian facade of the house. The food and service were excellent and so enjoyable, returned just a few months later for the crab cake benedict from their special's menu and a meatball sandwich from their lunch menu under beautiful blue skies once again. Only note is I didn't see a price for the crab cake benedict so was surprised that it was over $30 when the receipt came. But I would definitely return, just maybe not for the crab cake benedicts unless I want a splurge. This spot is definitely worthy of my 1400 review and to take my childhood friend from back East for her favorite meal, brunch, the third time dining indoors. OUTSTANDING SERVICE & FOOD. I had the Salmon special & my husband had Seafood Spaghetti. My salmon was cooked to perfection, the capers on top of the salmon were amazing. The vegetables were cooked perfectly with a nice crunch & grilled. My husband had Seafood Spaghetti, a nice huge portion with a lot of delicious seafood in every bite. When our family particularly wants breakfast, this is the place. Without question. The staff is very friendly. The service is perfect and the food is pretty darn good. I recently came here and ordered calamari for lunch though. It was a sandwich and I had it without the bread. It was so tender and so good. Can't wait to come back and I'll get the same thing. In my humble opinion, this is the best breakfast place in Pacific Grove! The spinach quiche is my favorite item along with the hashbrowns. The staff is so nice and helpful and you feel like you're part of the family. There is always a table or two of locals, and you can tell this is a ritual with them from the familiarity and joking with the staff. Don't miss this gem! We went on a Friday for lunch. We had good service. I ordered the soup and sandwich. I opted for the tuna salad sandwich without bread and the cup of split pea soup. Both were tasty, but a very small Portion for the price! With tip and tax it was over $23 and I was still hungry. After a long day exploring 17 Mile Drive and Highway one along Big Sur we wanted a good meal. We drove into quaint downtown Pacific Grove and past the Victorian Corner Restaurant. It looked inviting, so we checked out the menu - with a good variety of choices at reasonable prices - and decided to go in. We were seated promptly and reviewed the specials, the beverage menu, and the dinner menu. I chose a local red blend wine while my wife had a Paso Robles Chardonnay. The server came back after a few minutes, and we placed our order. I ordered the three cheese ravioli with the homemade marinara sauce. We shared an order of the daily special toasted cheese bread and my wife ordered the house salad. I can say the ravioli was delicious. Likely the best I've ever had. Apparently their homemade raviolis with a blend of three cheeses. The texture was just right and often times I find marinara sauce can either be underwhelming or overpowering. It was perfectly balanced. What's the topping of fresh Parmesan and shredded basil. My wife enjoyed her salad with mixed greens, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and croutons and on the side, blue cheese dressing. Last but not least the cheese bread had four slices thinly sliced sourdough with a perfect blend of butter and melted cheese. Truly delicious! Hey there party people Aliotti's is a great place. Been going by it for years and finally stopped in. There is always a bit of a wait but it's worth it. The atmosphere is quaint and homey, like you're sitting in Mama's kitchen. Our waitress was super friendly and kept the homey feel going. We never once had to ask for a refill on our drinks which was wonderful. We got the Banana Cinnamon pancakes as a starter. These were think and a bit dry you really need the syrup and butter to moisten them up. Having said that the flavor was very good. I had the pastrami sandwich. I was really surprised how lean the meat was. It was the best pastrami sandwich I've had in a long time. Hubby had the eggplant sandwich. He really enjoyed the flavors. It was served on top of garlic bread. Hubby said the garlic bread should have been crunchier to add texture to the sandwich. But it didn't stop him from chowing the whole thing down. Went here for breakfast based on local recommendations. This place has been serving breakfast for 45 years! The waitress was very attentive and on top of things. My mom had a cafe mocha which she said was outstanding. I had a peach mimosa (they had 5 different flavors) i order the Eggs Florentine. This is my my favorite place to stop and get lunch when I am in Pacific Grove. The Chinese Chicken Salad is large and quite delicious.

We came in as a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 teens and the staff was great, put a table together for us all, and I'm so glad we chose this place over another Italian place near by. The server was super attentive and really nice. The place is adorable, I liked the old Victorian feel about it. I had the lasagna and it was so delicious, even my husband liked it and he doesn't like cheese. My kids said the fettuccine Alfredo with prawns were great. Impressed with food, service and ambience at this fine Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, the service spot on and I feel the price was a good value for the quantity and quality. I had a dinner which included a variety of fresh sautéed vegetables, and a generous portion of eggplant with red sauce and melted mozzarella. Did I say the portion was generous, it was huge. Both the food and the service were amazing! There were four of us and we shared three dishes family style. The waitress didn't hesitate when we asked for extra plates so we could share. We had the smoked salmon Benedict, the tostada omelette, and a daily special, the chicken fried steak. They were served with hash browns, country potatoes, or, for an $4.95 up charge, fresh fruit. I asked for extra crispy on the hash browns and for the order that was served that way, they were great, but the second order wasn't extra crispy and wasn't as amazing. We got one order with fruit and it was a great mixture of fresh fruit, definitely worth the extra $4.95 for us. Sorry, didn't get a picture of the chicken fried steak with over-easy eggs, extra crispy hash browns, and sourdough toast, but it was extra-delicious! Our waitress checked on us numerous times and refilled our coffee and hot water several times. Very warm and friendly service. We ended up here for brunch for my mom's birthday. She wanted Italian food but everything in this Pacific Grove neighborhood is a brunch menu on a Saturday at lunch time. This place had a larger menu then Rudolfos next door so we hopped over and it was packed! We waited 10 min for a table inside and Alicia, our server, was wonderful. My only complaint is that the food took almost 20 minutes. We ordered a salad, chicken sandwich, huevos rancheros, and corned beef hash. I got the corned beef hash with breakfast potatoes/scrambled eggs and it was a lot of food. Between my toddler and I, we ate most of it but still had food leftover. Everyone enjoyed their plate and the building is a traditional victorian home that is well kept. Despite it being busy, it wasn't too noisy. The restrooms were really clean but very tiny. The outdoor patio is nice and you likely can be seated sooner out there. Bring your sweater for that beautiful coastal fog! This is also just about 4-6 blocks from Lovers Point Beach and the Coastal Trail. read more

The entire staff treats you like family from the moment you walk in the door. And the food is consistently amazing! The fact that you are just a short walk to the rec trail and lovers point for a nice stroll after your meal is a bonus! We have our little Pomeranian with us, they welcome our dog inside the restaurant. The restaurant looks like a converted Victorian home, it's very charming. We ordered a Reuben sandwich, a Smoked Salmon Benedict, a Chicken Fried Steak with scrambled eggs and Calamarie Steak sandwich with a salad with blue cheese. All of us were very happy with our food. Portions are generous, everything is fresh and they are more than accommodating when asking for substitutions. I love the Cobb Salad. The avocado and bacon toppers add so much flavor, but I am not a fan of blue cheese crumbles. They kindly subbed cheddar. With the ranch dressing and a slice of garlic bread, it was so much more than enough for lunch. Mom loves a Caesar and added chicken to her lunch. Again fresh and perfectly dressed with a generous portion of flavorful and tender warm chicken. I really enjoyed my taste and would order this next time although I was debating the Asian Chicken Salad. I loved how the garlic bread was done on a more thinly sliced bread. Not as filling and allowed the buttery garlic flavor to shine. Alexa was our server and she was just so lovely. She ensured we were happy with our meals and had everything we needed. Just on a whim, , I decided to have a very late breakfast at Victorian Corner, right here in Pacific Grove. What can I say? Well . . . The Service was excellent and the food . . . Wonderful! I ordered a Bloody Mary and Eggs Benedict, with hash browns, at 1pm ( ! ) I was going to photograph my order, but I couldn't wait! The atmosphere is friendly with seating indoors and out. After years of visits, the Victorian Corner is still family owned and operated and offers excellent service. The owners and their staff are friendly and attentive. We have only been here for breakfast, but given the quality, they are worth a try for lunch or dinner. On this visit we shared a traditional eggs Benedict and a fruit bowl. In the past we have gotten the salmon and Florentine Benedict's and the banana waffle among other items. Everything we have gotten has not only been presented artistically, but more importantly (to us) tasted great. The front table still has a great partial and distant ocean view. Bathrooms are in the back on the left side. Street parking is still free for a limited time according to signage on lighthouse. There is still outdoor seating. Reservations are still typically mot necessary for breakfast but you can call ahead on the particular day you plan your visit for dinner to see if you need one. Overall, the 4 star Yelp average is too low for this place--they are a 5 star establishment. We highly recommend giving them a try. read more

If you're in Pacific Grove you need to stop at this restaurant! Very friendly and attentive service. We brought our medium sized Aussie dog, and they were sweet enough to let us sit inside because of how cold it was outside, and they even gave her a little dog treat for being so good. We all got different kinds of pastas and I'm usually not one to finish my plate, but all of our plates for the appetizers, entrees and deserts were licked clean! 10/10 highly recommend!!
