We have been to Aliotti's Victorian Corner restaurant a few times over the years. I'm not sure what happened to my review, but I will write another one! It's been around forever! If you ask the locals for a non touristy place to eat, this is it! We've had breakfast and lunch here. You cannot go wrong with any of their menu options. The people working here are down to earth and friendly. We normally will ask them for recommendations. We enjoy their Classic BLT's, the Meatball sandwich, the Hot Pastrami, and the Cobb Salad. As far as breakfast is concerned, we love their chicken fried steak, Denver Omelette, French Toast, and pancakes. Overall, a great local restaurant with years of experience. I'm sorry but I didn't found anything special in their food or menu. Egg Benedict same to any other placer, I know is a classic but flavor wise aren't in the good side, Hollandaise sauce tu much lemon. Country potato arrived as we order crispy but no onion, no bell pepper.... Just potato French toast , you can innovate a lot with this dish, but thin slices of whole wheat bread for a French toast? If you looking for something healthy to eat, you don't going to order French toast . The good in this dish the orange sauce. Portions are generous and price fair. The place really needs a good face lifting and cleaning. Most of the time you can see how clean is the place when you use the restroom.....and wasn't clean........... We had dinner here the night before, starting with the garlic bread as an appetizer which didn't disappoint. I ordered the French dip, and my husband had the sausage sandwich. The French dip was one of the best I've had, especially because of the au jus--you could taste the authenticity. The same goes for the sausage sandwich. You can just tell many of the dishes are made in-house. Family photos are throughout the restaurant, and it's clear this is a family-owned business. The same people in the photos are the ones behind the counter, working hard and serving the holiday crowd with kindness. Aliotti's Victorian Corner restaurant has been a staple in the Pacific Grove community for over 40 years. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday in a well-maintained, beautiful Victorian building. The interior is warm and welcoming with plenty of seating for individual diners or groups. There is also a nice patio out in front of the building to enjoy a coffee or meal where one's fur babies are welcome. They have three large, diverse, multiple menus which offer diners to choose from many of Aliotti's specialties and classic selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch, we enjoyed their Dutch Treat sandwich and a Cobb Salad. The Dutch Treat consists of ham & Swiss cheese on a warm French roll. The sandwich was large with a substantial amount of ham. It was served with a fresh green salad and perfectly cooked French fries which were crispy on the outside and pillowy-soft on the inside. Everything was delicious. Their Cobb Salad was plentiful with avocado, bacon chunks, hard-boiled eggs, turkey, tomatoes topped with blue cheese sprinkles over a bed of lettuce. I opted for ranch dressing on the side. What to do with that extra hour when we "fall back", especially when it is a beautiful warm November day? Go out to brunch down at Pacific Grove and enjoy it at a leisurely pace when there are more locals than tourists. The weather was beautiful to enjoy a flavorful corn beef hash with poached eggs and Eggs Florentine Benedict outside under the Victorian facade of the house. The food and service were excellent and so enjoyable, returned just a few months later for the crab cake benedict from their special's menu and a meatball sandwich from their lunch menu under beautiful blue skies once again. Only note is I didn't see a price for the crab cake benedict so was surprised that it was over $30 when the receipt came. But I would definitely return, just maybe not for the crab cake benedicts unless I want a splurge. This spot is definitely worthy of my 1400 review and to take my childhood friend from back East for her favorite meal, brunch, the third time dining indoors. They must be doing something right if I am here 3 times in less than 6 months. read more

In my humble opinion, this is the best breakfast place in Pacific Grove! The spinach quiche is my favorite item along with the hashbrowns. The staff is so nice and helpful and you feel like you're part of the family. There is always a table or two of locals, and you can tell this is a ritual with them from the familiarity and joking with the staff. Don't miss this gem! We went on a Friday for lunch. We had good service. I ordered the soup and sandwich. I opted for the tuna salad sandwich without bread and the cup of split pea soup. Both were tasty, but a very small Portion for the price! With tip and tax it was over $23 and I was still hungry. After a long day exploring 17 Mile Drive and Highway one along Big Sur we wanted a good meal. We drove into quaint downtown Pacific Grove and past the Victorian Corner Restaurant. It looked inviting, so we checked out the menu - with a good variety of choices at reasonable prices - and decided to go in. We were seated promptly and reviewed the specials, the beverage menu, and the dinner menu. I chose a local red blend wine while my wife had a Paso Robles Chardonnay. The server came back after a few minutes, and we placed our order. I ordered the three cheese ravioli with the homemade marinara sauce. We shared an order of the daily special toasted cheese bread and my wife ordered the house salad. I can say the ravioli was delicious. Likely the best I've ever had. Apparently their homemade raviolis with a blend of three cheeses. The texture was just right and often times I find marinara sauce can either be underwhelming or overpowering. It was perfectly balanced. What's the topping of fresh Parmesan and shredded basil. My wife enjoyed her salad with mixed greens, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and croutons and on the side, blue cheese dressing. Last but not least the cheese bread had four slices thinly sliced sourdough with a perfect blend of butter and melted cheese. Truly delicious! Hey there party people Aliotti's is a great place. Been going by it for years and finally stopped in. There is always a bit of a wait but it's worth it. The atmosphere is quaint and homey, like you're sitting in Mama's kitchen. Our waitress was super friendly and kept the homey feel going. We never once had to ask for a refill on our drinks which was wonderful. We got the Banana Cinnamon pancakes as a starter. These were think and a bit dry you really need the syrup and butter to moisten them up. Having said that the flavor was very good. I had the pastrami sandwich. I was really surprised how lean the meat was. It was the best pastrami sandwich I've had in a long time. Hubby had the eggplant sandwich. He really enjoyed the flavors. It was served on top of garlic bread. Hubby said the garlic bread should have been crunchier to add texture to the sandwich. But it didn't stop him from chowing the whole thing down. Went here for breakfast based on local recommendations. This place has been serving breakfast for 45 years! The waitress was very attentive and on top of things. My mom had a cafe mocha which she said was outstanding. I had a peach mimosa (they had 5 different flavors) i order the Eggs Florentine. Both the food and the service were amazing! There were four of us and we shared three dishes family style. The waitress didn't hesitate when we asked for extra plates so we could share. We had the smoked salmon Benedict, the tostada omelette, and a daily special, the chicken fried steak. They were served with hash browns, country potatoes, or, for an $4.95 up charge, fresh fruit. I asked for extra crispy on the hash browns and for the order that was served that way, they were great, but the second order wasn't extra crispy and wasn't as amazing. We got one order with fruit and it was a great mixture of fresh fruit, definitely worth the extra $4.95 for us. Sorry, didn't get a picture of the chicken fried steak with over-easy eggs, extra crispy hash browns, and sourdough toast, but it was extra-delicious! Our waitress checked on us numerous times and refilled our coffee and hot water several times. Very warm and friendly service. We ended up here for brunch for my mom's birthday. She wanted Italian food but everything in this Pacific Grove neighborhood is a brunch menu on a Saturday at lunch time. This place had a larger menu then Rudolfos next door so we hopped over and it was packed! We waited 10 min for a table inside and Alicia, our server, was wonderful. My only complaint is that the food took almost 20 minutes. We ordered a salad, chicken sandwich, huevos rancheros, and corned beef hash. I got the corned beef hash with breakfast potatoes/scrambled eggs and it was a lot of food. Between my toddler and I, we ate most of it but still had food leftover. Everyone enjoyed their plate and the building is a traditional victorian home that is well kept. Despite it being busy, it wasn't too noisy. The restrooms were really clean but very tiny. The outdoor patio is nice and you likely can be seated sooner out there. Bring your sweater for that beautiful coastal fog! This is also just about 4-6 blocks from Lovers Point Beach and the Coastal Trail. read more

The entire staff treats you like family from the moment you walk in the door. And the food is consistently amazing! After we visited the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, we decided to find a place for lunch. We Yelped and find this restaurant. It's such a hidden Gem. We have our little Pomeranian with us, they welcome our dog inside the restaurant. The restaurant looks like a converted Victorian home, it's very charming. We ordered a Reuben sandwich, a Smoked Salmon Benedict, a Chicken Fried Steak with scrambled eggs and Calamarie Steak sandwich with a salad with blue cheese. All of us were very happy with our food. We got veal parm And chicken parm and a green salad it was all SO GOOD! The Marinara was seasoned perfectly for our taste , meaning a little sweet and Italian seasoning forward. The chicken and veal were both outstanding. The accompanying roasted veg were Delicious , as was the penne. The marinara and cheese got all in there and it was so dang good. The garden salad was nearly a Cobb. Really good. If you added another protein ( it has egg), it's a meal Such a great last meal for this trip!
