    Lamb shank
    Rand E.

Great friendly and efficient service. Came to enjoy an early lunch with a friend and waitress suggested we share an entree...which was the perfect suggestion. Had their special lamb shank which was ok. Not very seasoned but tender with a side of simply cooked carrots/squash and rice. Simple and plain fare.

TRULY TRULY I RECOMED THIS BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT! I want to start by commending the AMAZING customer interaction. THE FULL STAFF was attentive, gracious, interactive and supportive. The menu is FABULOUS! A SOMETHING something from different countries. We tried the Peruvian Paella, the Greek Chicken Shawarma, Ukrainian homemade Beef Stroganoff, Calamari Steak, All American Burger, Italian Garlic Cheese Bread and every item we tried was on point. Every bite simply DELICIOUS! The food portions are wonderful, the food was fresh, beautiful presentation, therefore I think is important to point out the the prices for the food are super fair (our bill for 5 adults was $152.00 plus a $30.00 tip) We eat out at least 4 times a week and we travel often, therefore it is easy for me to compare food cost from different restaurants/locations. Looking forward to returning to International Cuisine!

International Cuisine in Pacific Grove certainly lives up to its name, with a huge menu of cuisine inspired by Greece, Lebanon, Italy, Peru, Spain, Ukraine, and of course US and UK. I didn't see much in terms of Asian dishes, but that's OK since we were looking for a meat-centric dinner centered around Kabobs and saffron rice. First off, clam chowder is a quintessential dish when visiting Monterrey and the surrounding areas. Very smooth, creamy, and with a slight spicy kick. I had to ding them a star for having some leftover grit, but at least its a sign they're using fresh clams, LOL. Spanish Sangria was a refreshing dish - more sweet but otherwise very refreshing. The two saffron rice plates included Rosemary Chicken Kabobs and Garlic Parmesan Salmon. The chicken was moist and well-seasoned, and the salmon was decent with more tomatoey flavors than garlic. Surprisingly, our son did not seem to enjoy either dish. The kid's cheese pizza however, was outstanding. Crispy, puffy crust and generous gobs of white and yellow cheese. Our son ate mainly the toppings, and we were thankful there was so much of it relative to the crust. A decent, casual restaurant if you want some variety and sampling of Mediterranean and European food. Their pizzas are least seem very legit.

This restaurant showed up in search using ChatGPT for restaurants in Pacific Grove. It was late, I was starving and craving a Greek salad. I opted for the Rosemary chicken kebab as it came with a Greek salad. Everything was cooked well and tasted Ok but it paled in comparison to the Yafa in Carmel. The restaurant was busy with a large birthday party, lots of families, and a few locals. Servers buzzed around and took good care of all the customers. There's a tv and a small bar with a few seats. If you're looking for a casual restaurant for the family with lots of food options ranging from pizza to Greek food, this place should fit the bill.

What an experience this was. If you don't know what you're in the mood for come here ! International really means just that ! Food did not disappoint 10/10 Service was outstanding, from recommendations when my husband couldn't decide 10/10 We went during lunch on Sunday did not seem busy and crowded loved that . Establishment was clean and well maintained. Street parking ... never an issue though.

Food: 2 stars. Had the calamari steak dinner. It came with Saffron rice that tasted nothing like saffron rice & was short grain. It also came with generic steamed veggies: Broccoli, yellow squash, & carrots. Zero seasoning. The calamari would be 3 stars but mainly because the home made tartar sauce was the best thing on the $26 plate. Service: This place appears to cater to locals. I saw a distinct difference in how people were treated as a result. One person checked on me during my meal (not my waiter) then a second woman asked if I wanted anything else when it appeared like I was finished with my half eaten plate. I said, "Nope, I'm all done." She said: "Did you want another drink?" I repeated what I said & she brought me the bill. Did not ask if I wanted a box. Would not go back or recommend to others.

A great place if you're looking for variety, good tasting food and great service!! Variety: they have dishes from various countries (Peruvian Paella, Italian, Ukrainian, among many more) Food: We got the Ukrainian Homemade Beef Stroganoff (tender and full of flavor). Chicken Bellagio and mushroom Swiss burger (both were good). Service: VERY friendly staff and great service. It's worth checking out if you're looking for variety, good food and great service!

My friends treated me to a belated birthday dinner at this lovely restaurant. The place was spacious, with colorful decor, and wood accents. There was a cozy feel to the spot. The menu was extensive, with mostly Greek dishes, along with influences from other cuisines. I ordered the Garlic Parmesan Salmon in caper sauce, with sides of saffron rice and veggies. The Salmon was cooked to perfection, and was wonderfully tender. The sauce was a bit salty for me, and could have used more garlic. There also wasn't enough cheese. Saffron rice was fluffy and well seasoned. Veggies included zucchini, carrots, and broccoli, which were soft and fresh. Service was not the best when we were first waiting for a seat, but got better after we were seated. Prices were reasonable. I'm not sure I would rush to return, but we had a nice time dining here.

    The best food ever.

Our favorite restaurant. The best food. We have a large family and never one complained. Our couple fave is the Monterey Chicken and mashed potatoes. The staff is wonderful. The best.

We have been passing by this restaurant for years and finally decided to try it. It is upscale casual dining. The ambiance is very nice and it was quiet on our visit. The menu posted outside is more extensive than what is shown on Yelp and what you receive when seated. We are unsure if you can order off of the extended menu. However, you may be able to as bottomless mimosas are listed outside and we were able to order that for $20. Couldn't get our moneys worth on that, but tried--hicup! ;) We got the chicken fettuccine alfredo and beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes (not served with the standard pasta). Both were excellent. The stroganoff had 4 pieces of beef that were like mom's pot roast and were super tender so that you could eat them with the mashed potato spoon. The stroganoff portion may be small for big eaters, but the Alfredo portion was good. There is a Yelp check in deal for a free garlic bread that is like a pizza. It was very good, don't miss out. Our server told us that they have been there for 27 years. Business was slow on our visit. They are a little expensive but comparable and/or a little cheaper for the touristy area. Give them a shot and keep them in business.

The vibe in here is cozy and the the staff was super helpful when it came to ordering. My wife and each ordered a cup of clam chowder, fried calamari for the table and I ordered the Cajun salad and with chicken. Real talk, the salad was better than the chowder, but that doesn't mean the chowder was bad, the salad just had more flavor. The chowder needed needed some salt and a touch of heat. I added hot sauce and that did help with the flavor. My wife felt the same way about the chowder, it was a little bland. The calamari was delicious, my kids absolutely loved it. The salad is basically a huge chef salad is loaded with flavor bombs like peppercinis, spicy chicken, greens, avocado, blue cheese, bacon, hard boiled eggs, and garlic bread. I swapped out the blue cheese for feta and it was sooo good! They also have a great selection of wines and local beers. Kind of bummer their chowder was a little mid, but I'd come back just for that salad.

Upon entry, we were heartily greeted by the owner and staff. There were only a couple tables left on the main floor as there was a large party of fifteen people seated in most of the main dining area. It was extremely loud with voices reverberating because of the gregarious group. The owner invited us upstairs to see if a high-bar table would be suitable. The table was quite small even though it overlooked the entire first level, so we declined as another table by the front windows had become available. The Charcuterie + Cheese board was a wonderful start to the evening. It consisted of prosciutto di parma, sopressata, duck prosciutto, bella vitano, triple cream brie, chèvre, almonds, and fig jam served with sliced grilled sourdough. Delish. We enjoyed their Sauteed Rock Cod entrée which consisted of pan-fried cod served with potato puree, artichokes + capers in a Meyer lemon brown butter sauce. The portion was of moderate size, and the dish was excellently prepared and plated. In addition, we had the Drunken Skillet Seared Octopus, which was a nice portion of octopus in a preserved black-bean honey sauce, along with Chef Jerry's seasoning. I recommend this starter as an appetizer or as a main entrée for a light appetite. All was quite delicious. This is an intimate venue for wonderfully prepared meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a little lacking which could account for the bad acoustic issue.
