The women who have worked at the salon for a longer time are reliable, but it seems like some of the newer workers are just sloppy. For example, I recently had a spa pedicure, and initially 2/3 of my toenails were rounded, but the other 1/3 were squared. The lengths of the nails were also very inconsistent. When I asked for this to be fixed before the polish was applied, the worker didn't even have the decency to mask her annoyance. (I'm sorry YOU didn't do the job right the first time!) If I go back, I am going to be more selective about who helps me. read more

I do not recommed going here as they dont treat each customer equally. They pick and choose who they want to be nice to and who they want to priortize. I went in for a gel manicure, with a full staff (5-6 people) and only one customer in there. I waited with the foils on my nails for half an hr while the person doing my nails was reassigned to do someone else's pedicure (another walk-in). They basically locked me in to doing a manicurw. Several other walk-ins came in and they were treated with a smile and a spirited hello. During that time, my mom, a woman wearing a hijab, walks in and gets an awkward hello from only one person. My advice to the owner or manager: offer the same customer service to ALL customers. read more

I don't understand where the good reviews come from. This place is awful and I've been here twice. My UV gel extensions broke in a matter of days the first time. The second time, my gel manicure chipped in less than a week. The service here is terrible. The owner is nice enough but the other ladies are super aggressive. She literally yelled at me twice to get my nail polish soaked, I had to tell her, can I at least pick out my color first. Then the girl who was soaking my nails had no clue what she was doing. My bf was literally done with his manicure from start to finish before this girl had one of my hands wrapped up. She kept asking and checking with the other girl in Spanish to tell her what to do next and how to do it. It's just a gel soak off!!! Clearly anyone can walk off from the street and decide to do manicures in this place. read more

When you go during a not so busy time/day, they do an excellent job. They take their time and are really thorough! The ladies there are always very nice and try to be accommodating as much as possible when they're busy. I have had only one experience when I felt like the pedicure was rushed, but it's understandable because they were busy. The ONLY reason I cannot give five stars is because their nail polish selection seems more limited than other nail salons I've been to. Oh and also the owner gave me a $10 gift certificate to come back for a Christmas time special. How sweet! Love this place read more

Services here are hit or miss and when they miss, it's a huge mess. A new girl could not polish toe nails at all and instead of management noticing her strengths and weaknesses, they placed her with someone anyhow. My time was wasted trying to work with her on how to polish my big toe. Next and more urgently, I returned for SNS nails within 2 weeks after nearly all of my nails were broken off. I explained they should last longer to at least 2 weeks and the manager offered free service. I didn't ask for free service, but fine she offered. She proceeds to rush my service because this is what they do when they want to take on as many customers as possible--rush your service and do an incomplete job. She finishes me off with dust left all over my hands, no warm towel and no lotion. Of course, I notice this and ask her to complete the service. She orders me over to the dryer. I ask again and she tells me: you're not praying so no lotion or towel. Woooow. Needless to say, after being a faithful customer for over 2 years, I won't be returning. It's too many options in the area. read more

I've been coming here for over a year. I like the way they do my nails and pedicure and the cleanness of the nail salon. Mina and Stella are great, and Amy is very good at doing gel manicures. at first, walk ins were accepted but lately Sara seems a little annoyed if you walk in without an appointment. This past weekend my husband and I had appointments for our pedicure, we unfortunately didn't have a babysitter so we had to bring our daughter with us. She was in her stroller and calmly watching Elmo. When I went to do my manicure, she became a little cranky so I carried her. Claire one of the manicurists was a little upset and asked me to wait until after my husband was done and could take my child. I was a bit insulted by that, because although I was carrying her she wasn't speaking or crying. I said I would be leaving if that was the case, and considering that another customer had left c of the waiting time, she didn't want me to leave. I'm very insulted by this and am considering finding a new place to do my nails. If they aren't happy with children being present, they should let their customers know. read more

earlier today, i went to this salon, my pedi was done by a new young lady - diane when it came time for my mani, the co owner said she would do my mani. ok, no problem. i waited patiently until she finished her existing customer, 15 mins or so. not a big deal. it was now my turn. as i head to her station, a white male now enters n asks for mani, she assigns him to diane. co owner and i begin my mani. 5 mins in, the white male complains that diane didn't file his nails correctly. co owner gets up to see, says let me just file his nails, give me 5 mins. again, no problem. 25 mins go by and she is still working on the white male at this point, i ask to pay for my pedi and now i get told "shes almost done with him" to which i replied, well, i am done -- period. maybe she did it because he was a man, maybe because he was white, maybe because he looked like he was well to do-- regardless, my money is just as green, and to treat customers in this fashion is wrong. i had been there for over an hour, its not my first time there, so yes, i was taken aback in addition, they are training a lot of young ladies, that are not licensed and DO NOT STERILIZE THEIR INSTRUMENTS as a matter of fact, i had to ask diane twice, to use clean instruments. i would recommend you skip this place and go to the one across the street by homegoods. read more

I moved from NYC in October 2014 and after unpacking lots of boxes i decided to get a much needed mani (and pedi). Since it was close to my new apt, decided on this salon. Have been back at least once a month since then. Your hostess/owner Sarah is always gracious and accomodating and the staff is always friendly. It's not a fancy place but that's what makes it more inviting. The facitlites are clean and they never pressure you to additional services. I have used the wonderful Amy since scheduling my first treatment and she is awesome. Being a guy, I dont get the full treatment of polish or gels, but i can see that they are and try to be very accommodating. Prices are good, atmosphere is pleasant, place is hygienic, and it is very low key. You will always be greeted with a smile and a big hello. Suggest that you make an appointment as it does get busy sporadically. read more

I normally go to Floris in West New York, but after two of my nail girls unexpectedly left in a year, I decided to try a new salon. I made an appointment with Elly for a uv gel fill in and gel polish. The shape of my nails is ballet slipper/coffin and I was really nervous going to someone that I've never been to before, not knowing if they knew how to properly do the shape. Not only did the shape come out great, it's the best polish job I've had since moving to the area. I'll definitely be going back!!! read more

DO NOT EVEN TRY IT! I just walked out of that place so angry. The day before yesterday I broke a nail of my freshly done UV gel manicure and my boyfriend took me to this place to either get a new fill-in or fix that one nail. I decided to cut all my nails and do a fillin for which she was charging me for a whole new set! I asked her why and she said is the same price for a "fillin" since I was in a hurry I said okay and then she asked me to picked a regular color to my surprise. I then asked her if I wasn't paying her for UV gel and gel color and she then gave me the gel color palette. As you can see they will try to hustle you and give you the lease possible but charge you extra! Keep in mind my nails were just done, I just broke a nail. It hasn't been two days and my naisl color is changing from a baby pink to dark spots that are grey!!! Looks like stains is so ugly so I came back in and told them and I was told "my nail are just dirty and I need to clean it" when even the costumer sitting was telling them that it had happened to her and it was obvious there was a problem so she asked me if I wanted to change the color I need to pay more money THE AUDACITY IF THIS LADY!!!!!. I got so upset that to not make a show my boyfriend and I just left. So I just paid $55 usd for nails that now look pink and grey! Def there is something wrong with the color she cleaned it with acetone knowing it will look okay for a minute but as soon as it dries it changes the color and no is not one of those color that when the weather changes it changes color is a bad gel nail polish probably very cheap. NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT GO THERE. Also they don't do what you ask, they do what they want to do on you. Smh read more

HORRENDOUS. I don't know where to begin with this place. I made an appointment for a specific person and when I got there I;m told "well that person doesn't do pedicures". Nice of you to tell me when I actually MADE the appointment. They load you off to someone else that doesn't speak a stitch of English and you end up leaving with your nails filed down to the BONE and nail polish everywhere except the nail. I tried stopping them to make suggestions and requests but, again, they don't speak a stitch of English. Also, a feather applies more pressure during the massage portion than the guy pedicurist there. Some of the other (women) just pile on & pile on the polish and by the time you go to bed the polish is still soft so you wake up with fabric marks. Not only that but even if you tell them not to cut the cuticles they start to attack to with the clippers. I mean come on!!! You JUST asked me "cut the cuticles?". What part of "no" don't you understand? DON'T GET YOUR PEDICURES HERE. read more

they lost my trust forever. In the spring, i decided to take off my gel nails after many many years to give my nails a breather. when I went back this fall, I had only been back once before for color nail gel. I had been very busy. ... however, I was on the fence and was thinking of getting my nails back with nail gel. However, on this day, I still wanted to wait and I did not tell them I wanted nail gels again. I said I wanted gel COLOR. so I was very busy with work and just over bronchitis. She started working on my nails while I did work on my phone on the other hand. when I looked down. I saw she was applying nail gel and not color gel. I told her I wanted COLOR only. she kept applying saying it was gel. Of course it's gel ... and she knew I was no longer getting nail gel. as I sat there a bit flabbergasted that I was being ignored, I thought, "well, this is what I eventually wanted anyway." ... but it wasn't the right time with my busy schedule. so I said to her, "so now I HAVE to come back every three weeks, huh?" she didn't reply. well, I have gel nails again, but I lost my trust in this salon. I will go to Nail Bar in Hoboken to get my fillings where they are professional & respectful. I will never return to All about Nails again. read more

I been going there since the end of April. I liked the way the did my nails for first couple of times. My nails did break and sometimes it was my fault why the broke and sometimes it was because they messed up. I got my nails done this Monday and my nail broke yesterday, which is the same nail that they fixed because it was broken. The thing is it didn't even break and just popped off. So clearly it was something she did wrong on her part. I called telling them what happen and they said ok to come in. I told them I was coming on my lunch hour to get it fix. I came in and they were acting like if I was getting my nails done telling me to pick and color and to wait. So I showed them my nail and they still had me waiting. I got up and told them that I am on my lunch once again they acted just the same as before. I basically wasted my whole lunch hour there for no reason because they never fixed my nail. So when I asked for my money back, that's when she was ok sit down we will do your nail. When I told her no she didn't understand. I kept asking for my money back since this week I had to pay $60 instead of $50 because I had three nails that were broke. She only gave me $6 dollars back. Never going there again!!! read more
