Steve clearly takes great pride in his company, his crew, and his work. His estimate was simple and clear and very competitive with the others we received. He and his crew of 4 additional guys showed up EARLY each day - Fri, Sat, Sun - for our full interior paint job for our 3500' + garage home in Benicia. Steve himself is an excellent painter and a skilled manager, and during the time I was on-site with them during the job, I constantly heard him checking in on his guys, asking what they needed, and keeping everyone productive. Honestly this crew of 5 was so efficient. I didn't see any breaks, cell phone use, or time wasted AT ALL over the 3 day job. Steve was on-site the whole time, and did both painting and managing of his guys and the extra trips over to Kelly Moore (they use all Kelly Moore paints, which made our color selection easy). Beyond the overall superb quality of the work and the fact that Steve was able to get our job in earlier than expected when another job cancelled on him, which was a happy surprise for us, the attention to detail of these guys is what makes them stand out compared to another company we used years prior in SoCal. My favorite part with All Access occurred at the end of the job: My wife and I walked around the house with blue tape and pointed out even the smallest things that we wanted touched up. We had the whole crew literally following us. Steve directed them: we need some trim color here, some accent over there, we missed our second coat over there... They just jumped on every little thing we saw. It was the cherry on top of an already excellent job. And there wasn't much we noticed! -- because these were the kind of painters who removed switch plates, masked door hinges, looked for hidden strips of wall behind our plantation shutters. I hired this company because they had a 5 star rating. After they painted my house, I figure the 5 star rating came from their friends and family or are just made up, they certainly did not come from actual real customers of theirs. If you hire these guys you need to completely prep your own house. These guys do not prep holes, they do not remove switch plate or outlet covers, they do not remove door knobs when they paint your doors or cabinets, they just paint over them or around them! Looks like an amateur painted my house, not a professional. By any measure, this company did a terrible job painting my house. They seem to measure success by how much they can get away with on the job, how many short cuts they can take on this job. I hired them to paint my house so that I could place it on the market to sell. They did such a terrible job, I wanted them out of my house. Steve and his crew did an incredible job painting our house and roof. We were looking kind of sketch compared to our neighbors, now we are the best looking in the court! My wife searched off and on for two years trying to find someone willing to paint our cement tile roof without any success. Steve took on what nobody else was willing to do, and stunned us with the quality of work done. I can't speak to the quality of work for Steve yet because we have only received a quote but I am very impressed with how quickly he returned my inquiry on Yelp and even came out to do our estimate within 24 hours! Great work ethic and nice guy. (Update below) Update!!! Steve and his guys came out and Painted our rental a few days ago. We emptied the house pretty well and prepped a bit before they came but it still blows my mind they were in promptly at 7am and done before 3pm. Steve was even nice enough to paint a few things that weren't on the original quote to make the place look spectacular. His guys were courteous and and cleaned up well. Some paint spray ended up missing the plastic covering and getting on our brand new dining table and Steve even came out on his Sunday off to take care of it and touch up a spot. I hired Steven to paint the wood trim around my stucco house. Some boards were warped a bit and split, but no apparent wood rot. Steven filled the split wood with some sort of filler and painted the wood. Steven and his crew showed up early at 7 am and completed the job in about 2 1/2 hours. The work looks very good, and the price was substantially lower than other companies. Oddly enough, many other paint companies never responded to give a quote for the work I had. When I called Steven, he explained he was booked through the next couple months but would let me know when he had an opening.
