I had All American (try to) clean my dryer vent. It took the techs less than 10 minutes to clean and cost me $99. First, they left my laundry room a mess and I had to vacuum it after they left and then I went out to look at the outside and see lint coming out of my vents, not a little, but a lot. It is full enough that the bottom part of the vent doesn't open. See attached. I will no longer be utilizing their services for anything. The service from All American has declined. read more

I had an oriental small rug cleaned which came back limp like a throw rug, no body left and tassels were destroyed. Owner gave me a pad to keep it from slipping and rolling. I am very unimpressed with this company. I told them I didn't want scotchguard applied to my chairs; they applied it anyway. The velvet fabric is now crunchy and unpleasant to the touch. They also took 6 area rugs and 5 rug pads back to the shop with them to clean. They returned the 6 rugs but not my rug pads. The first time I called them I was informed the pads were sitting on the shelf--uncleaned as they don't clean pads and don't take them. He told me they would drop them off uncleaned the following day. The following day came and went--no pads arrived. I called again. This time he said they forgot them the day before but they'd get them returned. As I write this, the carpet pads are not in my possession yet. I will never use this company again. read more

I WILL NEVER USE ALL AMERICAN CARPET CLEANERS AGAIN!! I paid 160.00 to have my carpet cleaned by another company and the soiled spots reappeared in a couple of months. Then I hired All American Carpet Cleaners for $220.00. When I made the appointment I told the person on the phone what had happened with the cleaning and reappearance of the soiled spots. And, I told the person who came to do the job the same. He told me if the spots came back they would retreat my carpet. No time limit was mentioned for notifying them that the soiled areas had returned. And, he told me the spots were due to the prior cleaning's products residue. All American advertises that they use very hot water with their cleaning process. However, I overheard one of the Cleaners say to the other "We don't need to use hot water". Unfortunately, a couple of months later most of the spots were present again. When I called All American to make arrangements for someone to come out and retreat, I was told they would only come back within two weeks of the initial cleaning! If they came back and tried to remedy the situation, even if they just inspected the stains and said there's nothing further they could do, I wouldn't feel that I had been taken advantage of, like I do now. In addition, I communicated with someone at All American again today about the same issue. They were NOT kind or apologetic. To the contrary they were condescending & rude!! read more

Trevon said they might not get cleaned so I was optimistic but when he left I was ferrous on what he had done. he didn't even use a brush to work out the stains or use extra chemicals to get them out. so I called Carpet clean team to fix his mistakes! I have had All American Carpet clean our area rugs for the last 3 years and personally I have been very happy with them. This time we brought them in and picked them up with no problem at all. Would NOT recommend! I live a considerable distance but brought our rug to be cleaned. It had been over two weeks since I dropped it off. They emailed it was ready. My next available opportunity to come into town (during their business hours) I had to wait for over two hours for someone to return to the shop. This added to an already very long day. They sent out a little kid probably no older than 14 with his buddy who drove and was probably 16. They did my carpets and missed the closets, left water all over the wood floor, made a mess with the wood chips in my flower bed, and tried to open my sewer overflow cover by banging it with a claw hammer. The dirty areas didn't look much better even after I paid extra for a pre-treatment that supposedly lifted the stains. He said he couldn't get the traffic areas clean. Isn't that what he is supposed to do? Got a headache and a lighter wallet for nothing. They were recommended by my brother who said the Dad did a good job. This was one of the worst experiences we have had in hiring carpet cleaning and power washing! First of all, we are Senior Citizens and feel that we were billed unfairly due to age discrimination. . . Their website clearly shows much less money for jobs. We had them come back twice to clean a large pet stain which was supposedly "guaranteed." Not! There was a very dark spot along the edge of one room. The first time I noticed and was told it was because of the strip. Second time wasn't any better, either. Then, the supposedly Power Washing mess!!! What a deplorable job that wasn't done. We had gone over what was supposed to be done but it didn't happen. Spider webs left on windows, actual dirt on door, shutters, etc, Again, I asked them to come back a second time. I don't even know if they did because it looked just the same to us. I highly recommend that you choose NOT to hire this company for anything! They are unreliable and such a waste of money. A few weeks ago, we had All American Carpet Cleaning out to our house. We have used them for many years always with very good results. This time, the results were over teh top. The Technician (Ossie) was great. He first looked over the entire house using a blue light to spot pet stains. He treated those stains before starting the general cleaning. He took care as if he was doing the cleaning in his own house. I have had an ink stain near my desk for a few years, it stayed there through other cleanings. Ossie, spent extra time to get the stain out. I thought it was there for good but he got it out. We will continue using All American in the future adn we will request Ossie be the man coming out. read more

My husband tested positive for COVID yesterday, we had an appointment scheduled with this company today. I forgot to cancel yesterday after receiving my husbands positive results. So I called this morning to cancel my afternoon appointment and the man said, "thanks for the early notice" and called me extremely rude and said, "don't call me again." I apologized before and honestly would have even partially paid for the service. He was very hostile. So all in all, save yourself from this completely unprofessional company. My experience with All American Carpet Cleaning was the complete opposite of the other reviews here. Ryan came to my house and kept me updated as he was getting closer (we live in east Boise, so it took him a while to get there). We purchased a deal through Livingsocial for 4 rooms for $50. There was no high pressure sales pitch for additional services, just a casual mention of other services he offers. From what I can tell he did a great job and he was very quick but thorough. He also gave me a good amount of information regarding the state of the carpet as well as aftercare. I would definitely do business with him again! read more

Beware! Bait and Switch practice using coupon. Although we were marginally satisfied with the cleaning, the end result was a price that was double the original quote. On the original call, he asked if I had the coupon first thing. I told him the layout of our home and the status of the pet issues over the phone. (pet hair/no urine). At some point, he decided to treat my closet as a room instead of treating it as a hallway. (it is 7 sq ft larger than our small hallway). He charged me the hallway rate to work on a single new stain area (1 sq ft in size) - even though he did not get the stain out. At some point, he determined that he should use an upgrade to deal with the pet hair, which I had told him we did not need. He never mentioned any of this to me until he presented me with the final bill, which was double the original cost. When I sent him an email offering to let him make it right, he never responded. So I can only assume that this was his plan all along. If you decide to use their service with the coupon - get confirmation of the costs and write your check - in font of him and before he starts the work. I won't be using them again. They are unwilling to customise your different needs as far as cleaning your carpet. When told NOT to treat the pet stains in the living room because we are pulling the carpet off and putting in wood floor soon and just needed the carpet to look presentable for our guest coming next week, I was told "Can't do that". We should've met in person and had a quote prior to him coming over the house to clean the carpet. Cleaners arrived late, talked us into paying almost $100 more than the value of our gift certificate we already paid $50 for and left our carpets soaking wet and with numerous stains we were able to get out by hand ourselves after they left. Carpets were supposed to be ready to walk on in 1 hour - had to wait overnight with box fans running before our socks weren't soaked. The owner, Ryan Christensen, shampooed our carpets but neglected to put anything under the feet of the furniture and the stain from the wood leached into our lighter colored carpet and left permanent marks. He offered us $500 to replace the carpet in our living room, closet and two hallways and said that if we didn't like it we could take him to court. Well, we did one better than that and just turned it over to our home owner's insurance. They took one look at All American Carpet Cleanings shampoo job and said they'd take care of it and waive the deductible because it was caused by an outside source; namely Ryan Christensen. Ryan tried to dictate that we buy our carpet at one specific place and one specific quality. Because we didn't knuckle under to Ryan's demands we were able to get the color and quality of carpet we wanted. I don't remember how many bad reviews he had at the Better Business Bureau but you'd be wise to check with them first before using this company. I only wish we had've. Buyer beware. read more

This franchise is now owned by a new and much better owner. Justin took over about 1 year ago and really knows how the carpets are supposed to be cleaned! I have used Heaven's Best for years and years. They always do the best job. Except for the last owner who did not do it right. Justin spent over an hour on 2 rooms & got the carpets so dry. All the spots, inculding dog urine, silly putty, and vomit( I have kids) out. Heaven's Best is clearly the best company to do clean your carpets. It doesn't use steam that can cause damage to your carpet. So impressed with the job on my house! read more

They get there quickly, and I think the owner really cares about the customer experience. He communicates very well. That said, you get what you pay for and this is not a high end carpet cleaner. All the stains come right back up once the carpets are completely dry. I had several pet stains that were removed the people who showed up were on time and very nice even helped me move some furniture that i could not move myself. The price was very reasonable a little more than the phone quote bcause of the pet stains which is expected, two days after leaving i had a spot return called ryan and they promptly came back and took care of it. Got charged nearly double my groupon price because of oversized rooms. When they say 4 rooms at 150 square feet each, they are not flexible at all about how that is divided. If 3 rooms are 100 square feet and one is 151, they'll charge extra. If you only have 3 rooms to clean and one is 151 square feet, they'll charge extra. And I'm not sure how they determined the charge because they didn't measure anything. Definitely a business that is trying to nickel and dime you rather than get repeat business. That said, it's pretty messed up that yelp hides all the positive reviews at the bottom under "not recommended." Half the people that reviewed actually liked the service, so keep that in mind. read more

I too would select negative stars if that were an option. I was quoted one price on the phone by the owner (didn't know it was the owner at the time) who seemed annoyed at my questions about a time frame for arriving to do the the job. When he arrived my wife was given a price that was 50% higher. When asked about the difference in price (Pet decontamination treatment) he seemed annoyed so my wife asked that he just clean the carpet and not apply the additional treatment. Twenty minutes later he loaded his equipment up and said he was finished then asked for payment. Surprised at how quickly he was finished my wife looked at the carpet and felt she could have done a better job herself with our carpet cleaner. She asked that he wait until I could look at the job prior to paying. He became rude and said she should have done the (expletive) job herself which prompted my wife to tell him to get out of our house. When I returned home about 40 minutes later the carpet on the stairs was still soaking wet so I ended used my own cleaner to vacuum some of the water out of the carpet which was very dirty. I then called and asked to speak with the owner which ended up being the same guy that took my initial call. I asked him why would speak to a customer the way he did with my wife why the carpet was still soaking wet. He said my wife is a liar and she kicked him out before he could finish. Long story short; when the guys finished cleaning for the second time, my wife confronted Ryan about the spots still on the carpet, Ryan began yelling and cursing at my pregnant wife and Slammed the door on his way out. I told Ryan I was going to write reviews and take him to small claims court if he didn't apologize, he said "I've been here before so bring it on!" They showed up 1 1/2 hours late the first time, said they'd call a 1/2 hr before they were going to be here then just showed up, no call. The "lead guy" was very short & rude! They immediately told us we needed additional services which we purchased on their recommendation. First of all, the upgraded service was a bottle of some magic solution that they squirted randomly on our carpets. Then they "shampooed" our carpets and didn't remove the soap. We had to have someone else re-do their job and they pulled out all the soap All American put into our carpets. All American did the worst carpet cleaning I've ever experienced.
