Took my car for oil change, alignment, tire rotation, I requested to inspect one of the tires and mentioned nails to the advisor. According to them they fixed it, went back within the hours...they failed to fully inspect the one tire--nail was still on the tire. Long story short, they're 30% more than nearby Ford dealer so I paid them for the diagnostic fee (sans the repair) and wanted to call it a day. Imagine my surprise at my bill which magically included a "Deductible, Rental, Supplies" charge. When I inquired about this, I'm told this is in addition to the $199 initial diagnostic fee that magically appeared (not in the original bill). Very nice. I keep forgetting how shady they are. My second visit wasn't good ..have to edit my review .My Explorer 2024 has 10500 miles on it and several month ago pre- collision assist not available warning start to pop up..I I read some forums and they said that sensor located behind front bumper could be non functional..I checked it and found that it wasn't properly secured in a bracket ..I was able to push it back into the bracket and start working . Last week I was driving from Adirondacks and suddenly cruise control stop working and pre- collision assist not available warning popped up again .it happened when I was driving over over the road under construction! I came to dealership and told them this ..! So they start to diagnose problem ..lol .. after so called diagnostic they told me that it's not covered by warranty because it's damaged ! Base on what I told service advisor I guess?!! Car never was in car accident! They never removed underbody protection or bumper to look at the sensor.. but told me it was damaged because I was doing off-roading ..!!! That is not what I said to service advisor ! I said I will not pay because it's a factory defect ..( legendary Ford quality !!! lol) and car is under warranty! So they told me that I have to pay diagnostic fee of 199$ and when I asked for proof that sensor bracket was damaged after couple of minutes behind closed doors service advisor told me that they will not charge me diagnostic fee. ! Conclusion- is simple ! They think customers are stupid I. It's so disrespectful... to try to charge customers diagnostic fee for diagnostic that was not done and try to put expenses for poor quality product on a customer . I took my car in for a routine check at All American Ford, expecting them to address some recall issues. When I received my car back, not only was it malfunctioning, but there was also an overwhelming odor of burnt rubber. I immediately reached out via email and phone to express my concerns. I was reassured that the car was safe to drive and that the burnt tire smell would dissipate with use. Shortly after, I noticed a distinct hissing sound emanating from the back of the car and promptly informed them about this as well. On a trip to Ocean City, my fears were realized when my car came to an unexpected halt in the middle of the road. I insisted that All American Ford take the vehicle back for inspection. Initially, they claimed that the transmission had pre-existing damage. Later, they changed their tune, suggesting that I had hit something which resulted in a hole, leading to the transmission fluid leakage. However, there was no evidence of any fluid spill where my car had been parked over the weekend. I've voiced my grievances and left negative reviews. In response, All American Ford declined any further repairs on my car. Now, my insurance company, Liberty Mutual, is stepping in to address the damages that I believe were caused by All American Ford. I'm left questioning the integrity and expertise of the staff at All American Ford. While I cannot definitively prove malpractice due to my lack of technical knowledge, the series of unfortunate events feels less like coincidence and more like negligence on their part. UPDATE: Second shop inspected the car, and they found out All American ford sabottaged the car by drilling holes to destroy the transmission. I'm very confused as to why I paid to get the car terminal "cleaned" due to blue corrosion but afterwards I STILL see blue corrosion. When I asked about it the mechanic said oh that's the spray we put on. How is the spray the same exact color of the corrosion I brought it in for? They do a rush job that's not done property and then charge an arm and a leg for it $320. It was quick service, but in this scenario I think that's only because it was rushed and not even cleaned. Update 10/15: Owner wrote a message on my comment to call the shop. I did several days ago and left my email for billing on their voicemail and it's been days and received no email from them. Disappointing Experience with Transmission Issues and Poor Service I have been a loyal Ford customer for over 35 years, consistently purchasing and leasing vehicles. Regrettably, I am writing today out of deep frustration and dissatisfaction with the treatment I have received regarding a significant issue with my vehicle. Approximately six weeks ago, my vehicle developed sputtering sound in my transmission, leading to me bringing my truck unfortunately to All American Ford in Hackensack. The dealership diagnosed it as a transmission issue. The initial transmission repair conducted by the dealership's mechanic was substandard, as the transmission pump was never replaced, causing the pump to burn out and leave me driving in a cloud of black smoke on my way to a fishing trip. Upon returning to the All American service department, I was informed that their was negligence on the part of the mechanic as he had forgotten to change out the transmission pump, causing the issue. I immediately requested a new transmission due to this negligence, as I do not feel secure towing my trailer and risking another breakdown. My request was denied. I contacted Ford corporate offices, who promised to investigate. Despite repeated attempts to address the matter through standard channels, including discussions with Ms. Shakora Johnson, the Customer Experience Specialist at Ford's corporate office, the resolution remains elusive. Ms. Johnson informed me that my case was escalated to the Ford dealer complaint team on April 18th. However, I had to reach out yet again on May 8th as I had received no communication from Ms. Johnson. Her response failed to acknowledge the gravity of the situation or provide a satisfactory resolution path. Instead, it merely reiterated the dealership's stance without addressing the core issue of the inadequately rebuilt transmission. Key points: After waiting weeks with no response, I reached out again and learned that they had conducted another tear down without my authorization. Despite my requests, I have not received any paperwork detailing who authorized this second tear down. After speaking with Ms. Johnson at Ford corporate, the proposed solution was a non-transferrable extended 3/36K mile warranty. This solution fails to address the underlying problem of the inadequately rebuilt transmission and the risks associated with repeated repairs. Despite my insistence on a complete transmission replacement, the dealership's response remains unsatisfactory, with no acknowledgment of the severity of the situation. I am a senior citizen with a handicapped wife, and if we break down with our trailer in tow, the truck would be covered for a tow but not our trailer. This situation leaves us vulnerable and penalized despite almost 40 years of loyalty to Ford. Shame on Ford and especially All American Ford. I dealt with the body shop which was one of the most uncomfortable situations I've been in. They gave me an estimate told me the car be ready in two days which it was but then called me and told me they did the estimate wrong that the door handle was an additional cost ($300!) they said they give me back the car without the door handle !! I find them a joke at best. They said you can pick up the car at 4 o'clock but you have to bring cash. Again completely laughable I said no way Jose. I paid with a company credit card. On the Delivery day of the car, I was told everything would be ready at 11 am on Friday the 24th immediately I was greeted with the fact that the car was not ready and would need to receive another hour or so of work before it was ready. I was then told before we signed off on the car to make sure that the car was good to go look at it. We went and looked at the car before it was washed and it appeared good before it was washed. We made our way back to the dealer to go sign paperwork for the car but now we were aggressively persuaded into buying a warranty that we were told would be able to be canceled when we wanted to cancel it. We tried to cancel the warrantee before 24 hours passed but the finance lady Tema denied our request forcing us to keep it regardless of what she stated prior. We concluded our sale and left the dealer and immediately on the drive home, the alignment was off center. We called the dealer and were told that it was our fault and we were liable for taking care of it. The next day the car headlights were fogged over and when I called the dealer once again I was told that it was my fault and there was nothing that could be done. Shortly after that, I was in my garage and I noticed that the car was covered in scratches from top to Bottom which is from when the car was washed at the dealership. There is also what seems to be a cleaning compound on the side of the car where the shop must have tried to hide their blemishes but failed. The scratches were so deep the paint on my brand new mustang looks horrible. I was really upset and hopping that they would be able to take responsibility for the damage they did. NEXT i contacted the dealer On Monday, November 27 I was told I would be receiving help from General Manager Steve, He told me I would be getting a call on Tuesday, November 28th before 10 am to set up a time for him to come assess the damage. So far at 12pm on November 28th I've received no phone call. I got no phone call or any contact or help until my dad decided to call. and even then he failed to assist us and then he started to accuse me of being the one to damage the car .so we brought our car to the dealership on our own. When we arrived Steve was not present as promised he would be there but instead when we arrived we were met by the dealership detail manager Willy who was told he'd be cleaning the car. We immediately declined this because of the poor treatment we had received. Shortly after he cursed me and my father out in Spanish and we both understood it. Steve arrived late and immediately accused my dad of being the one to damage the car as well he was insisting that this is all ok and that they can fix it. But we would still be paying. We settled on giving Steve another day to contact higher-ups for help and give us a call when the following day he forgot about us again. In doing so he aggressively prompted us like a used car salesman saying that this is all our fault and that he can't help us. We were very upset and contacted corporate. Keep in mind I spent 25,000$ over sticker on a Dark Horse mustang and I get treated like I'm buying a used car. They are all used car sales men in a new car dealer ship. (where else can you find a sales guy that will walk your dog?)This is by far my favorite vehicle that I've ever owned.(I've had a dodge, 2 other fords, a gmc,a chevy, buick, honda, 2 Nissans and a VW) The used Sales dept is above board and it's some of the best customer service. I will recomend these gentlemen forever! They even called to follow up months later. The service dept however is another issue. From the General Manager, Joe, who greeted me when I walked through the door, my sales guy Jerry who worked with me the whole way and really hooked me up to Julian, who explained all the new features in my car. The All American family really made me feel important and special. Bryan in the finance department was quick and thorough when processing my paperwork and made sure everything was in order before I drove my car off the lot. Brought my car in for a recall and was informed that I need a transmission. We took the car in on a Thursday for the recall and to check on a noise we were having when the car was at 45mph. No call on Thursday left a message. On Friday at 3, Doug informs us that we need a new transmission. Called him back to ask was it rebuilt and what was the warranty. He have to check and get back to us. Ok, after several calls and over 10 days later we were informed our car is ready and that we should bring cash for payment or a certified check for over $6,000.00. We had called many times to find out what the cost would be but Doug said, We are working on the car and we will let you know. When we spoke to him again about the "cash" payment he informed us that we would have to sign a waiver that we would not cancel our credit card after payment. What kind of clients does this dealership deal with? We purchased two new cars from this dealership and this is how you treat customers that have been with you for several years. Get your act together! Look up a repeat customers credit before telling them that payment must be cash. NO one told us this prior to having the car repaired. I made an online request about a Mustang GT 500 Shelby last week. I was contacted by the General Manager with a price, which was $8000 over sticker. I said that I would agree to $5000 over sticker. He emailed me to say that they accepted my offer and would email me the pictures of the car (which was coming in the next day) . I heard from Anthony, a flunky salesclown via text the next day and asked him for the photos and a copy of the sales offer, which he agreed to. He sent me photos of a Ford Explorer, obviously the wrong car. He apologized and said I would receive the correct photos and the deal tomorrow. After not receiving it the next day, I contacted salesclown Anthony and he said that their "Sister" Dealer sold MY Car to a higher bidder. I'm told that I wont be given a loaner car because I didn't buy the car from them which was fine and I asked for shuttle service so the lady on the phone said it was ok. PROS: This Ford dealership has a lot of vehicles in their inventory. You can test drive any make and model you want, and the showroom is clean, new, and can hold many vehicles. CONS: Where do I begin. Almost every dealer in there was very snobby with me. They were unknowledgeable about the vehicles, didn't allow me to test drive any of them, told me to refer to their website for any info about the vehicle, etc. All they were interested in was selling the car. Not about the customers needs! They of course don't have any booklets about the car for you to take home, so everything has to be done on the website, and the mechanics are always racing around behind the building. When i was driving out, two almost hit me cause they sped around the corner. OVERALL: Ford is a good automaker, but this dealership is not where i'd go. I don't like the attitudes of a lot of these people, and I do not trust them in selling me the car, fixing the car, and maintaining it for a long period of time. Update - Stay my far, far away from this location. Dreadfully slow and non-responsive service advisors/management. I dropped my vehicle off 40 days ago for service. I have received exactly one piece of communication from the service advisor and that was a text message giving me my repair order number. He never returned any of my calls, the service manager never returned calls and was always in meetings or "helping customers". The receptionists are polite and apologetic, but their hands were tied. Several of them apologized for the advisors non-responsiveness and tried offering solutions, however the best solution was for me to show up and talk to them in person. The problem is that I have a fleet vehicle and they know they will be paid regardless of the service they provide. The job they are doing is a big job, however courtesy, communication and a little bit of respect goes a long way. This review is solely on the service department and not the sales department. If they are waiting on parts or whatnot they should let the customer know and give updates as the job progresses. If you want fast, courteous service, avoid this location at all costs. Former review. This is a service department review. I have a fleet vehicle and the fleet company wants us to get all work done at the dealer - even oil changes. Pros: Very friendly receptionist, service advisor and staff. They also have a decent seating section and WiFi (more about this later). They have water/coffee which is standard for dealerships. The reception came around checking on customers waiting and overall I had positive interactions. Cons: extremely slow service. I had an appointment scheduled for an oil change. Two hours later, I'm still waiting for my vehicle. Note that the fleet company auto approves all services less than a certain dollar amount, no approval waiting time. The WiFi is extremely slow and consistently went out. I used my phone as a hotspot to receive faster service, but no phone chargers were available. There are a few outlets near the wall away from the seating area, however you need a really long cord if you wanted to use those. If I could use another service center than this dealer I would, but unfortunately I am unable to. If they get your email in the system it will never be deleted and a fake generated one will constantly send you a follow up from "Krystal". Every time you call them up to have your name deleted from the system or ask for Krystal she is never there and a promise is made to delete you the next day. It never gets deleted. I went to look at a truck that was book valued at $3,500 and they were asking $11,000 for it, after making an offer the manager comes over and lowers the price $200 and says thats the best he can do. When they get trade in cars all they do is wash it and put it up for sale without any inspection. They have idiot under trained staff, sleeze bag bait and switch managers and lie to you with a smile. A friend of mine went to the Paramus location for service and was quoted $1,000 for spark plugs and a tune up. I would rate this place negative 5 stars if I could.
