Came to All American Tire for new tires on my work vehicle. The price was awesome and so was the customer service. We had an issue with one of the tires and Brian had me come back, we diagnosed the problem as a defective tire. Brian took full responsibility and replaced all 4 tires with a better brand without question. I fully appreciate the level of professionalism and honesty I received from All American Tire, especially from Brian and I will recommend his tire shop to everyone I know. Honestly, this is the first review I have ever written, but this place was worth me taking the time to do it. Brian is such a good guy. He took care of my brakes for a price that did not give me a heart attack. He isn't here to take your money or take advantage of your situation. My experience was great customer service at an extremely fair price...and it didn't take all day. In fact, he was done before I was done with my errands! He even so kindly fixed my visor that had fallen off and filled up my tires. I don't know everything about cars, but I know when I am getting ripped off and I know when I am being treated fairly. I was online in need of new tires. I came across All American Tires and when I spoke to Brian on the phone he was very kind. They were having a good deal on tires so I said let me try them out & I drove all the way from Culver City to Van Nuys. Not only did he give us a good deal he also gave us his opinion on the tire we wanted (which were more expensive than the ones he recommended) I would definitely come to this shop again. He's very down to earth and knowledgeable. Definitely wont sell you what you don't need cuz I also wanted a wheel alignment but he said I did not need right now. I placed a call asking for a quote but got kind of a rude "your shopping around hard, tell me a price you've gotten or just come over and see what we got" I visited and found Mike. They won'y give a price quote over the phone in the hopes you'll go down there and they can scare you into buying four tires instead of the one you need, or charge you $15 to put air in your tire. This place needs to be closed down. Consider yourself warned. read more

I called Brian to get a price check. He took my info and said he will call me right back because he was on a call. He called me back in less than 5 minutes. He told me to bring my car up there to check it because diagnostic is free. I thought I needed all four rotors and all four brake pads. He not only reduced what I needed, he showed me and told me what to look for in the future if my brakes and rotors are going bad which is unheard of. So I end up paying all together 280 for front brakes and rotors plus labor. Cool dude. read more

On August 18th I bought a groupon stating 4 brand new tires valued at $125 for just $29...thought I was getting a great deal on something, that or there was some extremely FINE print I couldnt see! I called All American Tires and spoke with Brian who explained to me that yes I would get 4 brand new tires valued at $125. But it all depended what kind of tires I needed for my vehicle and a bunch of other mumbo jumbo that I honestly didnt understand because he went left with the conversation, explaining things that I really didn't ask for. However, he sounded very knowledgeable in what he was saying (how he visits tire factories, treads of tires, how he's not into scamming people, years he's been in this business so on and so forth)...so I went with it because I had already purchased the groupon and couldnt get a refund. When I got to the shop, I showed Brian my groupon and he explained to me that yes I would get 4 brand new tires for the $29 groupon HOWEVER (here's the catch) it would cost $66 dollars for EACH wheel to be placed on my car. I knew it was too good to be true! He also explained that each tire had a 40,000 mile warranty, and that i would be able to bring my car in and get free balance and rotation within that time frame. I had my debit card ready for the purchase but was told he ONLY accepts cash. The only banks in the area was wells fargo, citibank and some atms at the local stores in the area all of which was going to charge me an additional $3 fee for cash. Irritated by the fact that I was already being bamboozled by this groupon "deal", now Im shelling out an additional fee for cash. I allowed Brian's assistant Rigo to place the tires on my car, and before leaving I was given a receipt and asked if I could do a yelp review expressing my satisfaction with the service. Brian also gave me a business card and said he's a marijuana vender and if I was interested in any products I should "hit him up". Not sure if he ASSumed because Im african american and have dreds that I probly smoke weed or if he just offers that tidbit to all of his customers....should i feel offended?! Fast forward to 2 and a half weeks later I notice my front left BRAND NEW TIRE is seeping air, so remembering I have this so-called warranty I call All American Tires to see what can be done. No answer for 2 days! I then decide to have my car towed to the shop because I also notice a lugnut missing from every one of my tires except the one with the lock on it, and I didnt feel safe KNOWING this now. When I get to the shop, assistant Rigo calls for Brian to come which he gets there within 15 minutes. By this time my tire had already been removed from my vehicle and Rigo places it in water to see where the air is seeping from ((Mind you i had already showed him)). Its a thin crack along the side of the tire, which can't be patched because its not on the tread of the tire. Brian takes all of 4 seconds to look and say "you hit a sidewalk or curb and that caused the damage". I actually didn't hit anything, and there was no indication that I did, no paint marks on my tire, no scratched or dented rim NOTHING! I tell him, i didnt run into anything, but the receipt you gave me says I have warranty so how does that work. He tells me i can only use the warranty if theres a defect with the tire due to the factory it came from, or during shipping. Furious I ask what that means and he said if it was damages caused by the factory then I can replace your tire with a brand new one for free, otherwise you have to purchase a brand new one or a used one. I couldnt believe my ears! I JUST bought tires brand new from them not even a month ago and would need to replace one with another one! What a waste, you could imagine how upsetting this was to hear. Of course I broke down and cried because i dont have money to just shell out on freaking tires! You'd think the guy would cut me a break and give me a discount but NO! He said the best he could do was sell me a used tire, close to if not exactly the same size as the other 3 i had for $30 dollars! I ended up having to buy this used tire. So pretty much shelled out $297 in less than a month for 5 tires!!!!! When I tried to call the next day with a clearer mind to ask Brian how he was so quick to come to the conclusion I had hit something that caused the issue, again I was met with no answer ((they have caller id, and was likely avoiding my calls)). Im just choppibg this up as a lesson learned ((and a loss). But I dont recommend this place to anyone unless you're looking to just give money away, you'd be better off going somewhere else. read more

He diagnosed the car on the spot and had me out of there in time to safely make it to my dinner -- his prices are beyond reasonable, too. Highly recommend this establishment. read more

My experience with All American Tire has been my best experience with a car mechanic service to date. Since moving to LA it's been quite the task of locating a decent honest car shop. After reading the reviews here on Yelp and taking to Brian in person I got a real sense that him and his team were legit. Brian physically showed us what was wrong with our car and explained how the issue was effecting the mechanics of our car.
