I have been a customer of All American Tires for years. It's hard to believe in an auto mechanics integrity but I want to say that Brian is an HONEST guy. He does great work and, more importantly, stands behind the work. The customer service is beyond compare. It's not just tires. It's good, solid, knowledgeable mechanical work too. I have 2 cars and I would not take either of them anywhere else. One is a high end vehicle and Brian knows how to work on it. One of the worst tire shopping experiences! I noticed my rear tire was running low on air. So I stopped at the nearest tire shop... Mistakenly I found American tire and had the most unpleasant experience with the owner Brian. First Brian tried to tell me (at glance) my low tire was completely bad, unfixable, and I needed a new one. I asked if he would put air in the tire? He (Brian) agreed and began to inflate the tire... to his surprise the tire wasn't bad it just needed some air. Brian then tells me.. "that will be $15.00 would you like to pay via cash or card?" "What you're charging customers $15 to put air in their tires? I said in response to this obvious extortion attempt. Brain then said.. I'll do it for $10.00. I refused to pay this inflated service fee (gas stations charge $1.00 and most tire shops do this for free). I asked Brian to show me any type of signage that says there's a $15 fee for air? There's not a sign on sight with this fee. Brain then threaten to call the police and took images of me with his phone. I waited over an hour for the police to arrive. I'm amazed this place recieves any business considering the customer service person answering calls need to attend etiquette school. I called to find additional info after seeing what appeared to be a good Groupon. Despite quoting me on two tires a few months earlier, the guy refused to quote me over the phone for four tires stating, "i dont do that". When i mentioned that he quoted me a while back for two tires, and wondered why he can't quote me for four, he thought for a quick second and snapped back, "well i dont do it anymore, if you got two tires from me, you dont need a quote". Went here to get 4 new tires. Found this place on Groupon so my husband called and asked about their deal. The guy was really helpful on the phone and gave us a better deal than what the Groupon was-with a full quote for my car and we came in. He told us it would be about an hour so we walked around the corner to Starbucks to pass the time. (They did have a couple chairs set up if we wanted to wait there) When we came back exactly one hour later, my car was done, just like he said. New tires were installed AND my car was aligned (which I needed badly.) He even told us to come back every time I get an oil change and he'll rotate the tires for me for free. So nice! I've gone here twice for tires and I asked for the cheapest set of tires and the first set I paid only $300 for 30k miles and I swear they lasted over 60k miles. They still had life but I didn't want to push it. Two weeks ago I got another set put on for $325 for 50k miles. I'm sure they will last more than that as the other set did. I commute a lot and didn't want to spend a lot of tires, but come to find out great quality. They are 18" tires and the price is unbeatable here. Ok ok I read some of the comments below and for the ones that were bad, people don't bite back unless you're mean or bugging the guy. Brian works hard and yes like all humans aren't perfect. If you came in for work to be done, let them work. It is what it is. FYI he didn't quote me over the phone and I drove 45 mins just to see him and he stayed late and put on the tires for me. Hello, please see attached photos of my cracked windshield. I noticed this after I came home from the shop. I parked my car, left it and came back and noticed it. I will be charging for a new windshield. I am not sure if my tires weren't balanced or my car was jacked improperly. I do recall seeing my right front tire jacked really high to the point where it seemed unsafe. But, thank you for my new tires. If there was a way of giving this crook NEGATIVE 5 star I would give him that. his a CHARLATAN in mechanical business. 1-his using a name very similar to a AMERICAN TIRE so he can steal customer from them ( the photo of his shop on Yelp are all fake these are not a photo from his shop. 2- he does not honor his own work warranty that he give to his customers. 3- he will charge you mostly in cash without any kind of receipt. And later he will asked you do you have a receipt that I worked on your car. 4- Most of the reviews are FAKE from his friends and family. I found this IDIOT from Groupon deal and he sold me the brake work with life time warranty and after that I gave him much more work on my car and every time i paid him in cash witch he does not give any kind of receipt for the work. As far as replacing a lower control arms and motor mounts and front and rear shocks and struts all of this jobs for him to do the labor and I mostly provided him with parts but the set of 4 tires and brakes he got the parts with life time warranty on the brake pads that he did not cover and honor his own warranty. He will get you in the door and almost get your car as a hostage with tires of the car so you would not take it away and have him do the job. He has this Spanish speaking mechanic that does not understand much English and will answer you in a rudely manner. I called him a while back regarding 4 tires and his answer was since you drive too much choose any kind of tire and give me $80.00 for each tire as profits plus installation, I just hang up on him ( are you serious) you sold me a $60.00 for each tire and now you want $80.00 on the top of each tire.what tire shop add $80.00 to the tire as profits plus installation. Once more I took my car about welding the sit bracket and showed him that all it need to uninstall the sit is 2 bolts and he quoted me $200.00. Something that cust me $35.00 to weld and I unbolted the bolt myself. He will quote you so high to start negotiating with you to settle in middle, and that is still very high for the work, he is the owner of this place of business and his name is Brian. Watch what you getting in to before you let him take your car apart and hostage it. Even the photo of his shop on YELP is fake and has nothing to do with his shop, don't believe me go check it out yourself. (To answer to your comments about my review) As it is logical to become a repeated customer to a mechanic shop for everyone is because people try to get to know their mechanic and also about their car. For your info try to become honest to your customer so they would become a repeat customer. In my review it shows that I have gave you many chances to work on my car but unfortunately by your desire of wanting to screwing your customers you would unknowingly estimate your price so high and wishing for the acceptance of your estimate. But since your too stupid and always high on weed your empty head of brain cells does not work well to have the experience of running a shop and be honest, your in the process of learning that there will be a customer with experience and knowledge to know what your up to.
