Excellent. Mike came out and looked at our washer/dryer and gave me an honest estimate of between $150 and about $600 bucks - it's a stackable so he couldn't know until he pulled it down. When he did if he'd wanted to he could have said it needed the $600 job and I would have been none the wiser, but he's obviously honest and did a great job fixing whatever was broken for the lowest possible estimate. I would say 2.5 stars if I could. Contacted them late July regarding a burner that went out on my electric stove. They came out July 29, took 5 mins to look at it and said he would need to order the part and would contact me when it was in to install. Played phone tag with him for about a week, then was forgotten about. I texted on August 20 asking to let me know when he could come over and fix it. He called me the next morning and said he could be over in an hour. Fixed it quickly and it has been working fine. Just disappointed that the ball was dropped in contacting us about coming back to complete the repair. When we were playing phone tag, he would call me and say, 'I'm in the neighborhood and can come over now.' He did this a few times, but we weren't available on such short notice. Just wish the scheduling/communication was better, but the work was done fine. read more

IMy refrigerator completely stopped working, I called at 6PM and Mike was at my home by 7:30PM the same night. He spent time testing all the systems, replacing multi parts & checking wires. Mike went way beyond what a normal service tech would attempt, given it was now 8:30PM. After all this he was HONEST enough to tell me that the he could order additional parts but it may not fix the problem and recommended that I replace the refrigerator. He then uninstalled the parts he had put in, apologized multiple times and only charged me a very small service fee. I would HIGHLY recommend Mike and will use him in future for any other appliance repair needed. read more

Mike said the refrigerator/freezer wasn't working because fan motor wasn't working so we switched it out (cost 92$) and while he was checking everything else he recommended us to change control unit because he said it will fail soon and the new unit would last for years ( cost $289) and now Probably a little over 3 months the unit is failing and my refrigerator/freezer is no longer getting cold enough to even freeze anything.. It's just sad that a family owned company won't even look at it again and truthfully say what's wrong with it.. I guess never go off recommendations fix it only if it's broke... Our Kitchen Aid built in fridge went out. I called All Express, Mike came out that same day to look at it. Imediately he knew it was the computer chip. He ordered the part and was back the next morning to install it. Great service, very knowledgeable! I also just had Sears come out on my dishwasher that was under warranty. The door clasp was broken. After the technician left the door was so hard to close. Litterally slamming it to get it to lock. So I told Mike about it and he saw that the screw in the top was loose! No problem he screwed it in. Wow! Five stars all around for Mike and All Appliance Experts! The pump went out on the uber expensive Samsung washer and when I called Samsung Call Center to set an appointment to have it fixed, of course the washer was no longer under warranty. The repair order was sent out to a local SD company (I don't recall their company name) and when they called me back, I was not pleased with what they were going to charge. The washer and dryer are stacked and they said it would be $50 if we helped them to un-stack the dryer, $100 if they did it themselves?! Plus $90 just to come out to the house, plus parts and labor...I said thanks but no thanks. After reviewing Yelp, I found All Appliance Experts and Mike, the owner, called me back and came out that same day! He was honest, professional, friendly, on-time for the appointment, and was back out in two days once the part came in. He arrived at 6pm, did the repair without having to un-stack the dryer (please note he worked in a totally awkward/uncomfortable position in the laundry room to achieve this), did a great job, tidied up, and the charges were super reasonable. I had Mike come over to repair two appliances. My ice maker wasn't working so Mike replaced it for about $250. My hood range switch was not working so I couldn't change the setting. Based on our conversation I would give him a call if I needed help in the future. Thanks! ORIGINAL COMPLAINT: I called earlier today and spoke with a woman who had a heavy accent. I need someone to install a Maytag cooktop. I already contacted Maytag for a price quote so I'm only looking for someone to install the parts I plan to order directly from Maytag. She said 'Mike' would be too busy to research the cost of the parts so would I tell her how much Maytag quoted and Mike would see if he could beat their price. I told her that Mike could quote me his own price without having to know what kind of quote I already got from Maytag. She kept insisting that he was too busy to research costs and even went so far as to say he would never call me back under those circumstances. So, I kept asking her "well if he's too busy to research the cost of parts then how come he's not to busy to research the cost of parts in order to beat my Maytag quote"? After going back and forth with her insisting he would try to beat the price I was quoted by Maytag but he wouldn't take the time to research the cost, I hung up on her. I don't like businesses that insist on knowing a quote from the competition in order to create their own quote. I certainly won't do business with them and I suggest others look elsewhere, as well. read more

The beeping sound came back and he promptly returned on a sunday to find out why and we learned I also had a broken sensor. He had the part in his truck and promptly replaced it and he didn't charge me for the additional part or his time. Not only is he super nice, professional, and very generous, he is really smart. I had an excellent experience with Mike who helped identify the issue with the magnetron component of the microwave in less than 15 mins. He also patiently showed me how he dismantled the microwave/oven combo to identify the issue and helped me understand the workings of it. Talking to him and see him perform the job, I had the feeling that he was very technical and understood appliance and electronics in and out. I then got to know that he was an electrical engineer who's been in this business for more than 25 years. So turning again to Yelp for a highly recommended company, All Appliance Experts appeared to be the choice. Mike and his wife Mia are fantastic. They are thoughtful, professional and darn good at what they do. Our dryer turned out to be fine, as it was a blocked dryer vent causing the problem. After trying two other repair companies, including another one that is very highly recommended on Yelp, my refrigerator remained broken and I remained very frustrated. But third time's the charm--All Appliance Experts correctly diagnosed my refrigerator problem and promptly and efficiently fixed my fridge! My main kitchen refrigerator was on the fritz. It would work for a while, then slowly get warm and spoil all of my food. I would throw away the food (very upsetting), leave the freezer to defrost, and the fridge would work again for a while before repeating the same cycle. I called one appliance repair company (can't remember which one), and a very friendly gentleman named Eli came to fix it. He was prompt and courteous--but did little more than simply defrost my freezer. After he left, the fridge continued the same pattern. Grrrrr. So I Yelped appliance repair companies, and next called "Your Appliance Repair Clinic." Mark was also very prompt and courteous. He told me my refrigerator drain line was blocked and needed to be flushed. He didn't have time to do the work and so he said he would send a colleague. Alex (Sasha) came out to do the flush the next day, also promptly and courteously. But guess what? The fridge continued the same pattern! GRRRRRRRR. I called Mark, he called Alex, Alex told me my fridge doors were too heavy and the seal was gone--so I needed some new, very expensive fridge doors. He promised to call back with info on the doors, but didn't call. So I called Mark, and he called Alex, and so on and so on--for 2 weeks. Meanwhile, still no functioning main fridge in my kitchen! So I returned to Yelp for another try. This time, I called All Appliance Experts. The lady who answered the phone could not have been nicer or more personable. Wow! She was so lovely and turned out to be Mike's (the service man's) wife. She listened to my story of fridge frustration and told me that she would get him out to my house ASAP, regardless of his busy schedule. True to her word, Mike arrived promptly. He is such a lovely man. Extremely intelligent, calm, caring. While he diagnosed my refrigerator, we discussed appliances in general and he gave me great recommendations on what to look for and purchase in the future. He very quickly diagnosed my fridge problem (a broken defrost heater, with faulty wiring). Mike replaced the faulty wiring on the spot and ordered the new heater. As soon as the heater arrived, his wife called me and scheduled for him to immediately return for the repair. Even though his day was packed full, he drove to my house at 9 pm to make sure my fridge would be up and running as soon as possible. I now finally have a working fridge, no more spoiled food, no more frustration--and an intelligent, trustworthy appliance repair company on my service list! read more

The repair turned out to be more difficult than expected, but Mike got the job done quickly and on budget. He came over late in the evening to make sure it was repaired as quickly as possible. A year or so ago, my girlfriend and I woke up quite surprised to see water on the floor of our kitchen right under the fridge. Now, i thought to myself... Oooohhh budddy, I was the last one in the fridge. I woke up in the middle of the night to get some water. So.. we brushed it off as my goof, since it wouldn't have been the first time that had happen. My GF and I went about our days and went to work. She got home about an hour before I did and to her surprise, there was more water on the ground... uh oh! She called me up and asked what we should do. I said call up someone that knows 'cuz I don't! I posted it on facebook that I needed help and if anyone knew of any good appliance magicians because I didn't have the money to buy a new fridge. Luckily one of my friends sent me in this direction. I called up and talked to Mia and she told me there was a service charge which was about $30 - I agreed of course because I had about $300 in Farm fresh meats... and she was able to get in touch with my GF and get Mike to our house within a couple hours. He showed up about the same time as I did, so he got their pretty quick. within minutes he had already figured out what the problem was. I think he gave us a price of about $200 if we did the work with him and $30 if we chose to just take his advice and fix it ourselves. He was up front about what was wrong and didn't withhold any information about what needed to be done to fix it. It was because of his honesty and timely response that helped me shake on the deal. It was fixed, he gave me what I thought was a more than fair price, and he was friendly - what else can you really ask for out of anyone? I'm glad that more of my stuff doesn't break down more often, but if it does, Mike's that man I will be calling. read more
