Offensively sexist, incredibly rude, waste of time front company who are blatant fraudsters. All Appliance Repair needs to be put out of business and booted out of the U.S. ALL of the reviews on this "company" are spot on. I was sub-contracted to All Appliance Repair and had no insight to their poor reviews online before they came to my house. I wish I had never let them in my front door. Just a few of the things that should have tipped me off to their extremely poor service include: 1. First, they told me an ice maker couldn't be installed in an existing refrigerator and hung up on me. (There is a wonderful youtube video with step by step instructions for installing this exact ice maker kit in my Midea fridge, which I will now be using to install it myself.) 2. They called back and said they had someone who could install my ice maker. Being a little desperate, I told them a window of 4pm-8pm the same day was fine. 3. They called at 8:15pm and said they couldn't get into my building (bc the concierge goes home at 8:00pm). Like a dumb-dumb I went down to get them. 4. "Sam" (in quotes bc I'm 100% positive this is not his real name) didn't speak any English and had no idea what I was talking about with this ice maker install. Despite that, he started tearing everything out of the kit and pulling everything out of my fridge like a madman. 15 minutes in he still had no idea what he was doing and was trying to jam something in some hole in my freezer, all the while mumbling something to someone in a foreign language on his blue tooth air pods. 5. At 8:45pm I told him it was too late to install the ice maker tonight and he needed to leave. He still charged me $80 for the "service call" and said he could come back in the morning. Same as another lady's review, he was peeved that I couldn't do it in the morning but finally said he could return Thursday 9am-12pm. I agreed bc I just wanted him out of my house. 6. I called this morning to cancel the Thursday appt and he disputed it saying I only paid him for the service call. I cannot tell you how angry and upset this whole interaction has made me. I'm not one who normally leaves reviews, but I felt like in this case it is $80 lost to me but hopefully $80 or more saved for someone else. Paid $200 deposit to All Appliance Repair for service on September 24, 2025. Technician claimed a part was needed, promised to return, brought the wrong part, and then never showed up. Multiple calls went to voicemail. They refused to refund my deposit, hiding behind "no refund" policies, even though I never received any service. I used my credit card to dispute the charge. I also filed a BBB complaint, and there are many other complaints and negative reviews showing a clear pattern of fraud. Do not use this company. They take your money and provide nothing. read more

DO NOT USE. I don't think these guys are actually pure scammers, but their quality of work, level of professionalism, and customer service is extremely poor. I actually was connected to them for a dishwasher and wine cooler repair by scheduling via the www.appliance-pros.com website, which I did not realize is actually a subcontracting service and not an actual stand-alone appliances repair service because it's in the fine print on their website. If I had realized, I wouldn't have hired a business with such bad online reviews. I was supposed to receive a call 30 minutes ahead of time to know when the technician would arrive. Never received the call. A technician named Sam showed up for the appointment - I didn't notice at the time that he was just wearing sweats and not a uniform - fiddled with some buttons on the dishwasher and unplugged it, all the while speaking very quietly with someone on his cell in a foreign language, and then pressed me to remember the error code it was giving because he couldn't get it to show on the panel. I said I didn't remember and he kept pressing to the point of being rude. After thinking for a moment I said I thought it was either X or Y, and he said ok based on that a certain part was needed. He correctly diagnosed the wine cooler issue but that's just because it was a door seal issue so pretty obvious (I already knew that). He took a $450 deposit for both. He said they don't accept card and only take check, which struck me as a little odd but not totally abnormal in my experience - lesson learned. The check was cashed that day. He said he didn't have the part for the wine cooler and would need to order that, and said he didn't have the replacement part for the dishwasher on hand so would need to pick it up from their warehouse and come back to do the repair another day. Without asking whether it would work for me first, he said he would return the next day, which was Saturday. I said I would be out of town for the weekend and he found that irritating, both visibly and in his tone. We settled on a weekday. The morning of the second appointment, I received the error message again on the dishwasher so called the phone number on the invoice because it was a different error code than what I originally told Sam. I explained the situation to the man on the phone and asked if they needed to reschedule since it would require a different part. He was extremely rude from the start, arguing with me (I was not arguing with him) and first saying that the technician would need to come anyway because they can't tell anything over the phone, then switched to saying he would need to talk to him first and call me back, then switched to saying that he would not be coming at all that day, and then switched back to he would talk to him to find out if they had the part in stock and then call me back. l didn't receive a call back so I followed up and this time Sam answered. I was told that the original dishwasher part would still work but it actually wouldn't arrive for a couple more days so he would call me when it came in to schedule a time to come. At that point I'd seen all of the reviews here and on the BBB, and I said I'd like to just cancel the service and he said "ok" and hung up. I honestly wonder if the parts had even been ordered yet even though he was supposed to complete the repair that day. It's too late to stop payment on my deposit check. What's worse, it felt like a lot of their rudeness, dismissiveness and condescension was a result of me being a woman - something I've never experienced with the dozens of repairmen from all over the world that I've had in my home over the years. This company is NOT a legitimate company. I had a similar experience to all of the other reviewers. Arrive for the initial appointment, say the repair will be $689 and that the part will need to be ordered and they will be back the following week. I gave them a $350 deposit that they requested. They didn't show up for the next appointment. They did answer the phone when I called to see where they were and said that the part hadn't arrived yet. Future phone calls were sent directly to voice mail. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, will be filing a police report as they are in business to defraud people and will be filing a report at reportfraud.ftc.gov. read more

Indian scammers here in the USA. I found them on the website https://www.usa-appliance-repair.com, and after calling the number, they had "Sam" from "All Appliance Repair" (not even sure this is the legit name of the business) come out for my initial appointment. DO NOT USE this website!! "Sam" - aka "Neeraj", will initially come to your house, fiddle with your appliance, make a phone call speaking Hindi, and tell you it will cost $689 to repair. He then asks for $350 as down payment (only accepts a check) before "scheduling" a return date to fix. But he will never return. The Indian call center is rude, and they won't answer your calls. Don't give this guy any money, they will take it and run. I failed to notice several red flags: 1) no address on the invoice 2) he didn't even completely fill out the invoice 3) I didn't notice the phone numbers were different from the website and the invoice, and 4) this is 2025 - EVERY legitimate business accepts credit card, paypal, venmo, etc. NOBODY uses checks! They WANT checks because once it is cashed, it's gone. I consider this my $350 donation to charity for Christmas. NEVER again will I use ANY repair service, especially ones run by Indians. read more

I don't know if it's a scam, but I do feel scammed. I googled a highly rated oven repair firm and found/called Expert Appliance Repair Arlington. Yet they guy who came to my house put my $79 repair estimate on All Appliance Repair paper. He turned some knobs on the oven and said it'd be $1300 to repair. Expert - the telephone number I called - has 55 ratings for 4.9 stars on google. Yet an All Appliance Repair guy showed up. Knowing what I now know, I googled Expert Appliance Repair Arlington and their website resolves to ARLINGTON APPLIANCE REPAIR. And there's the negative reviews on All Appliance Repair that I am now able to find. Before writing this negative review, I called manufacturer and they said they don't have Expert or All Appliance Repair on their list of recommended service providers in my zip code. They never showed when we told them when we were available and when we rescheduled several times they never returned our phone calls or came to fix the microwave. Just like all the other reviews. We had a water line to the ice maker of our Sub Zero that was leaking. They came out and turned off the water and said we needed a part that had to be ordered. I paid them a 200$ deposit. The total charge was $589. I have seen that very number in other reviews which is a red flag by itself. I called to schedule the repair. I was given an 11am to 3pm window. At 3:05 pm I called the office because no one had arrived. The person I spoke with was short and rude on the phone like I was interrupting something. He said he would call me back. A few minutes later a technician called and said he was on the way. 30 minutes later he called back to say he had a flat tire and would arrive as soon as possible. An hour and 45 minutes later I called the main office (no answer) then the technician (no answer). I had things to do so I left my house at 6pm. 3 hours after the end of my service window. At 6:07 someone calls my cell phone and says "I'm at your front door let me in"-nothing else. No apology just let me in. I said you're 3 hours late and I'm not home. Be aware, he sent another person as bad or worst than him. he is the most unprofessional person I've ever met, he treated us with really bad actitud, he overpriced 3 to 5 times the price, his quality is so poor and a the end of the service, when I claim for better quality, I took the replacement part and he stole my gasket and run away from my home. I called to Rinku or Lucky, and he said "yes I stole you and what are you going to do?" He is a coward, un profesional and a thief. Do not call these folks .. they do not seem to know the business of repair . I called them to come to my home for my dishwasher issues . The dishwasher was not draining completely and the middle arm had fallen off. I noticed they were standing in my kitchen with their cell phones on as if they were getting instructions on how to repair for a good 10 minutes .. They told me the drain pump and the middle arm had to be replaced .. they would order and come back a week later to install .. I declined as the parts were not of my brand . I paid them the fee and they left . After they left, I realized they had not even emptied the residue water in the appliance and so how could they know it needed a new drain pump? hmmmm.. so I drained it myself by bailing with a cup . Website says to take out drain pump to dislodge any clog , which I did . I rinsed the drain pump off and popped it back in ,according to the directions. Then I got the old middle arm and screwed it back into place .It was not broken ... I turned on the dishwasher to test it and it worked perfectly and has run 15 times since then. My take away is these people want to sell parts and get fees for installation even if unneeded .. A complete sham. I am 76 years old , have owned numerous appliances over the years. Have to agree with others based on my experience. I contacted this company to have some replacement parts installed on our Wolf gas stovetop. Wolf had sent me the new parts and told me to contact a Wolf factory authorized service tech to do the installation (Wolf sent installation instructions with the parts and informed me that the installation was straight forward but had to be done a technician certified to work on Wolf products). The call service individual I spoke with said they are certified to work on Wolf and all other brands and could do the work; however, failed to tell me the correct name of the company he worked for when I made the appointment. I only discovered the actual company's name on the invoice after the tech arrived. Had I known the actual name I would not have used them based on the horrible reviews (all reviews were 1 star, notably some because zero or negative stars are not an option) but I got duped into thinking it was another company that had much better reviews - so beware! It became apparent when the tech arrived he was not a Wolf factory certified technician, had little understanding of what to do, and was only interested in taking a quick look and giving me an exorbitant estimate which declined, then leave after collecting the service/diagnostic fee. I thought fact that he was not interested in seeing the new parts/instructions fishy and when I looked at the paperwork and noticed that the repair company was not licensed nor insured and that the company did not even list its address on any of the paperwork the tech presented to me. Anyway, to get the guy to leave -which was fast becoming concerning because this was Saturday night after 7:00 pm EST in December - I had to pay the guy the service fee which I did via check. I wish I could leave a "zero" for this service. The light bulb in my refrigerator had burnt out. I called All Appliances Repair and was able to schedule an appointment that same evening. I clearly stated that the brand was Whirlpool and I only needed a light bulb. I had attempted to fix the issue, but didn't realize that you had to remove the entire thermostat panel to do so. I was quoted $39.00 plus the cost for the bulb. The tech arrived, removed the panel and old bulb. He then proceeded to tell me that he didn't have a new bulb, and that his five minute stint at my residence would cost me $120.00. Needles to say I was shocked beyond belief. I had the same experience as everyone else. This company needs to be reported to the BBB- I can not report them as I had a bad feeling when the so called technician was leaving. When I asked for the address of his office, he did not have it (it is not on the paperwork either) and said it was in Ashburn. There is no such company in Ashburn, I then searched the phone number on the paper work and found these Yelp reviews. I called my bank asap and put as stop payment on the deposit check. We later found out the part was only $129 and this company was going to charge $589. I get them to answer when I call of a different number as they have clearly blocked mine. When they realize it is me, they just hang up. I called All Appliance Repair (703-349-6566) on Sunday, 9/17/2024 because my refrigerator wasn't cooling. They came when they said they would. The obvious head person was on the phone getting instructions almost during the entire service call. He obvously didn't know what he was doing. I have no idea why the second guy was here. The head man said I had no Freon but "good news" there is no leak. He inserted the Freon and my bill came to almost $400.00. Here is it less than two weeks later, my refrigerator is not cooling properly. This guy did NOT check out the entire refrigerator. He felt he found the problem and that was that! I called them again yesterday, another Sunday, left a message, and have not heard back. I have a 30 day warranty on parts and 60 days on Labor but no warranty on Freon. So, bottom line I have no warranty whatsoever! They never returned my call anyway. If they do, I plan to tell them to get lost! They don't do a complete job of finding the cause. I don't even know for sure if I needed Freon. Why isn't the refrigerator cooling if they filled up with Freon? DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR SERVICE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM. Service Requested: Refrigerator was not working If I had the opportunity to put a negative star I would do it. Last week, my refrigerator was not working properly, and I confused a different service provider with the same name. They offered to send a technician in a very short time, so I decided to give them an opportunity. The technician barely checked the refrigerator, and I asked him to make sure he reviewed it, including the system, this is a Samsung smart refrigerator, which is more of a computer than anything else. His assessment was that it was only missing freon, but after adding the freon, the equipment started to malfunction worse. The compressor sounded like an engine about to die. I called to ask for another technician, because the one that serviced my equipment already damaged it more. The admin on the phone had the face to tell me after making me wait for 10 minutes, that do not call ever again with attitude, there was not an apology, I said to him that for the first time, I will make sure I will leave a review that reflects his inept attitude and will expose the complete fraud that his company is. Then paid $254 additional to have it installed. The washer worked for one hour then a burning smell began. Technician returned two more times and could not fix the washer. They said i would get my money back and, after three weeks, never received it. Now, they will not answer my calls and I have to begin a small claims court suit. Beware! Lucky, from "All Appliance Repair" came, diagnosed that the washer needed a new drain pump. I was suspicious because he only started/stopped the washer settings very quickly. In addition, he said they didn't take credit or debit for deposit which is strange these days. After he left and walked away with my $200 check I noticed he put a service sticker on my washer that said "Reliable Repairs". I googled and found them under both names with horrible reviews and warnings that they were scammers. After sleeping on this a couple days I called someone else and as suspected, it was not the drain pump. I called "All Appliance Repair" back, asked if they were coming the next day to fix my machine and he said "Yes, between 5 pm and 9 pm." I told him they had terrible reviews and that I called someone else who said it was something else and he said "they were misleading me". I told him not to come back and asked for my $200 back. He said the part was already ordered. I said to send it back and if the new person fixes the machine with the other part then I would call back to get my money back. The new person came back with the correct part and fixed my machine. My $200 check was cashed but I didn't call again to ask for my money back since I had signed the receipt that says NO REFUNDS. I hope this makes it's way to anyone who considers hiring this guy. Do not do it!!!! The company was paid the full $412.34 to complete the repair of my washer. And did not even start the repair nor return my several (7) telephone calls. Very disappointed!! I had my bank reverse the $212.34 in charges. $200 was given in cash (because I had it on me). I am currently pursuing the issue of refunding my $200 through the Consumer Protection in DC and Maryland. My bank is working on the $212.34 refund becoming permanent. read more

Zero rating. Terrible experience. Ice maker in the refrigerator not working....plumber said water line was fine. I called All Appliances Repair to replace ice maker. The person who came immediately informed us the water line was frozen and we would have to turn off the refrigerator for 24 hours. We had a full refrigerator and freezer...so we could not do that. They left within 7 minutes and charged $89.00. I read on line that you can use a blow dryer to thaw the line or hot water. No trouble shooting was done.
