We take both of our doggies here, a lab and an Aussie. They take great care of our pups and I feel like I can really trust this establishment. I particularly appreciate how accommodating with scheduling they are. I took my dog to get his boosters and they were also able to schedule him with the groomer the same day. It's very convenient to drop off my baby in the morning and pick him up after work. This establishment is pretty pricey but again, I trust them and to me it's worth paying for. Thank you for seeing my cat, Tucker! I took him in last week for a second opinion regarding his goopy eye. I mentioned it three times to his previous vet but she overlooked it and paid no attention to it telling me "eh he's probably fine." When the gunk became more apparent and my poor baby could barely open his eye, I called some clinics. Thankfully Dr. Patty Weber took him in the same day! I had to do a drop off (which was totally fine.) I used to work at another clinic and they would take 4-5 hours for a drop off patient. I was prepared for it to be all day. But nope! She called within 45 min of me dropping him off telling me his prognosis! Unfortunately he is on eye drops but within 12 hours you could see his beautiful green eyes again! When we picked him up, the cute receptionist ran out and told us how sweet and loving he was! (I was so nervous he would be bad for them since it's a new place) Dr. Weber your calming tone and warm personality gained you a new client and patient! Thank you thank you thank you! Took my pet in for a haircut and 2 vaccinations and was called 3 times during the day trying to get me to purchase additional tests and exams. Not only that, the groomer absolutely butchered my pups haircut. He was nicked is several spots and was cut uneven all over his body. I complained when I went in and the RECEPTIONIST had to fix his hair as much as she could. They refused to give me a refund since the "service was already provided". Unprofessional and inexperienced. We started using All Care when we moved here seven years ago. Their professionalism and care resulted in our German Shepherd living an additional five years: through diagnosing/treating for heart worms and providing treatment for her aging hips. When we recently had to put her down, All Care (Dr. Russell) provided a process whereby our dog experienced no anxiety and no pain and passed peacefully in our arms. I think all the doctors at All Care are magnificent, caring, professional and I would recommend them to anyone for any type of pet. read more

Been going to All Care and the Weber's with our German Shepherds for over 25 years!! Dr. Gregg and Patty and all the vets we have dealt with are super and eager to answer any and all questions. Sadie our current Shepherd is a handful but no issues from All Care. Grooming is super as Nancy has groomed all 4 of our dogs over the last 25 years and she obviously loves dogs and does a fantastic job. Front desk help is great and have relied on Michelle many times to get medicine or appointments. Have to go now as Sadie is being groomed today and its time to go pick her up. We took our dog here and we had to wait forever in the patient room. We got a 2 minute visit from the Vet, 20 minutes later she got her ears swabbed, and then we had to wait another 30 minutes for her nail clipping. My husband and I were on our lunch breaks, we had no time to spare. The staff was mediocre, low energy, and rude. At one point, they took our dog, with zero explanation whatsoever, out of the room. I could hear them yelling at her because she was nervous (nail clipping). Then the vet tech opened the door back, let her in, and kicked the leash in behind her!!!! Probably the most horrifying part is that we could hear surgery from our patient room!! Never taking any of my animals here again. Bad vibes all around. **UPDATE** Changed my review from 1 to 3 stars as the head vet spoke with my husband and worked out some issues. I don't want to spoil someone's business because of other employees. The vet we interacted with during the appointment was not the owner. Regardless, the poinsettia (though a "mild toxin") is still a toxin. I also have a cat and the very first thing he does at the vet is jump on the counter. I visited this vet's office today for the first time after reading reviews. It was hard to decide which vet in the area to go to. I saw Dr. Russell today and she was extremely nice and listened to all my concerns and questions. I had a list of issues to address with her and she had no problem talking to me until I was 100% done. They even gave me a tour of the boarding facility. The staff is extremely nice. I like how this vet has an online portal where you can see past records and make appointment requests. They also have an online pharmacy where you can order anything for your dog, pending the vet's approval. Pricing is very reasonable! Definitely recommend this vet! read more

Made an appointment with the vet (whom they said specialized in small animals) for our guinea pig. If one specializes in small animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc, I was naive to expect that they would also have the equipment to do basic routine tests for them. We really appreciate everything these guys do for us as our vet. They answer all of my emails and phone calls without billing me extra for being crazy. On more than one occasion, we have had the doctors here spend nearly an hour with us when our dogs have had issues. I see in other reviews people say that they didn't know why people were taking their dogs out of the room or said they didn't get any info on their visit - all I can say is if someone takes my dog out of the room, I ask what shots they're getting so we're all on the same page. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! My husband took our dog in yesterday. As he went to pick her up it seemed like a five year old did the job. Her hair was uneven,chopped like they didn't want to go back to them.He took her in and in about hour she was ready for pick up. She told him that she did a great job and that there's nothing else she can do about it. I literally cried when i saw my dog. Still charged me $50 for a horrible job. That's not how you treat dog no professionalisms at all. I am beyond upset that we can't talk to anyone about it. I would love to hear from the owner this is unacceptable. The vets are genuinely nice, and we had a good experience with Patty once my cat's health really started to plummet (reason I rated a 2 and not a 1). Unfortunately, my experience overall was not positive. My cat started losing weight around mid-2012, and I took her to All Care in January 2013 to check her out. The vet did blood work and a few other things, and I didn't hear back from them. My cat continued to lose weight and lost interest in food, so we took her back given the alarming development. Patty at All Care did a second round of blood tests and found that her creatinine and other vitals were off the charts (very bad). We then found out that her vitals were high even back in January and no one ever contacted me. When we got a copy of her January report, there were no notes, only the words "please file" at the bottom. Basically, we paid $250++ in January for nothing, because they didn't treat her or make us aware of her major health problems. It makes me feel complete duped. Let me be clear, I don't blame All Care for my cat's fading health; however, I wish they would have been clearer in January about her health and maybe we could have helped her before it reached emergency levels and we had to prep to put her down. I go to the vet because I don't know why my cat is sick. I need a professional who is earnest in caring for her, not someone who takes blood and then files the paperwork without any feedback. read more

Dr. Clawson and his team were geniunely kind. We had to put our sweet "Momma Bear" to sleep this morning. They gave her an anesthetic that relaxed her and she began to snore, then 20 minutes or so later she was given her final shot and within seconds she drifted away. When we left the receptionists had the saddest looks on their faces, which was nice, because it told us that they really did care and they love animals. read more

I absolutely love this vet clinic. My previous vet would do all sorts of things to my dog with a sensitive stomach because he had diarrhea or was throwing up. The vet here listened to our problem and then simply prescribed us some anti nausea/diharreal medication. Which is all we needed! A simple visit from my previous vet would be upwards of $200-$300+! They also carry my dogs prescription food which is a huge plus! Messi (my dog) and I love this vet clinic. The staff is fun and really nice. I definitely recommend! read more

I adopted a 7 month old dog from DFW Humane Society and this clinic was on the list of clinics to perform her wellness exam and her spade surgery included in the price of adoption. When I took her in, it was a week early for her booster shots, so I got the wellness exam and paid for her rabies vaccination. Her wellness exam was good so I was happy. I was then told she needed a fecal test to ensure no intestinal parasites, although she had already been tested and treated the week before at the shelter. This was an additional $30.95 on top of the $11.75 for rabies. I agreed since it was recommended. I was told that I would have to bring her back the next week for her booster vaccinations which I scheduled. When I went back the following week for the booster shots, they charged me $37 for an exam plus 45.95 for two booster shots. I inquired as to why I had to pay for another exam when she just had one the week before. They said it was required before any shots, which I totally understand but why was I not given the option to wait and do it all at the same time to prevent the additional charge? I just feel like it was a way to get more money out of a new customer. I took her back the next week, third visit, for her surgery where I was given another form stating she needed pre-op bloodwork before surgery for a significant additional charge and post-op pain medicine for an additional charge yet again. All other adoptions I have had in the past with HSNT, these things were all included with the spade charge in the adoption fee. At the risk of sounding like a bad pet parent who doesn't want to pay for his dogs treatment, which I totally would pay to make sure she is healthy and safe, I think they were trying to boost the charges. I'm so happy with the outcome of her surgery and she is doing great. On a positive note, the office staff are all extremely nice, the place is very well maintained, believe me I've been there multiple times to check. I'm so thankful for their care. Just make sure you know your facts and what tests your pet needs and decline any unnecessary exams or tests on your visit. read more

I've been using all care for about 4 years now. They have great hours which is very helpful for us 8-5pm workers. They can usually squeeze in last minutes appointments with their flexible hours. My pet had what I thought was an emergency once and I was able to rush him in at 6:45 pm on Wednesday and the vet took him right in. Anytime I've called and left messages for the vet with questions I've received a call back usually same day but definitely within 24 hours. They've also filled minor prescriptions over the phone without making me come in and pay an addition vet visit fee... (this was shortly after my dog had already had a check up with the vet, but I had forgot to mention something, and it was a minor prescription ) but still some vets would make you come back in for another visit. Overall they have been very helpful and easy to work with. read more

I went in today to buy heart worm medication for my dogs. I was told that they had not received physicals since 12/2016. I was shocked since I didn't remember getting a reminder in the mail, but things get lost in the mail all the time. The front desk person told me that she needed to ask the doctor if she could sell me the medication. She came back and told me that they were unable to sell me the heart worm medication because my dogs were not active patients at All Care since they had not been seen in over one year. I've only taken my dogs to All Care for 9 years. I took my daughter's rabbit into their office in 5/2017 and spent over $500. No one even offered to schedule an appointment for my dogs so that they could be "active" patients again. I'll be scheduling an appointment at a new vet on Monday. read more

I brought my dogs to get their shots and check up and Katie was the receptionist and was very not helpful and not interested in answering my questions or making me feel comfortable. She took me and my dogs to the examine room and didn't explaIn anything or how they were going to do things. She then took my dogs out of the room one at a time to give them their shots and didn't explain why or what they were doing. If she had asked my dogs behavior I could have understood and help tell her how they behaved. One of them has separation anxiety and if she would have explained I would have been okay with being in the room with her or would have suggested putting a muzzle on. Nothing was explained during the whole visit, and they just went about doing things without asking. When we left the told me my dog was aggressive and needed to be trained. My dogs are not agressive and if she would have communicated to me everything stressful could have been avoided. I left feeling like my dogs didn't ge the best care that they deserve and I won't be going they again. Very rude when checking me out after not talking to me about the procedures that they were doing to MY pets. Ridiculous and rude. Won't be going here again. read more

I have been going to All Care for 4 years and have loved it until today! Michelle is the rudest person I have ever dealt with! Can't multitask, lack of patience, and argued with me about the care of my own pet in what she's had in the past or not because she couldn't find it in the computer. Better late than never. A few months back my rabbit got an eye infection and it was getting worse with each passing day. I had already been here and i really did like the vet and the treatment my bunny recvd. I called in on Friday afternoon told whoever answered the phone about the issue and that it was getting worse. (First theres not many vets that treat rabbits so I knew there was a chance she would not get seen that day and I was willing to wait) she then told me the vet wouldn't be in until the following Tuesday and if I wanted to make an appt. I didnt think i did wrong in asking if there was something one of the other vets could recommend to use to "help" with the infection until Tuesday. Apparently whoever this female was on the other end of the phone didnt like this question and thought she had to remind me again this time with an attitude that the vet who needed to see my bunny would be in NEXT tuesday. To this female if this was you calling your Dr's office I highly doubt you would have been ok with just being told you'll have to wait to see the Dr instead of being offered some options to hold you over. Because of this person and her nasty little attitude I will not be back or recommend this place. read more

I cannot write about the other vets at ACVH, but their new addition--Dr. Megan Russell--is an absolutely wonderful vet. We were saddened to hear last year that she was moving back to TX from Richmond, VA as we appreciated her dedication to the craft and to our animals; she never gave up on figuring out weird ailments and went out of her way to solve issues. She is extremely compassionate and actually spends time with her clients, much to the disruption of her schedule I'm sure. She explains things very well, ensures you have the info you need, and even graciously offers help and guidance after hours. We greatly appreciated all the care she provided our dogs for over four years and we hope that life's paths bring her back to RVA. I cannot say enough good things about her. You are fortunate to have Dr. Russell on staff. read more

We had more than one bad experience at this clinic over a 2 year period. Although we loved Dr. Clawson--he was wonderful and very professional--his staff was not. In the many times I called them (we have five pets, one of them a disabled cat) over those years not once was the lady who typically answers the phone friendly or personable--occasionally she was downright abrupt and borderline rude. Almost every phone call I made left me with the feeling that they are all too busy, too rushed, and that I was annoying them. I once sat in an exam room waiting for over an hour, and clearly overheard two employees bickering in an extremely unprofessional way with each other. That same exam room had old dried blood on the floor and seemed very dirty. Having worked in a vet clinic myself years ago I know how important it is to clean every room, every day. This room looked like it had not been cleaned in some time, and dried blood in the amount I saw is unacceptable. Our worst experience was with a chronically sneezing cat. On 2 separate exams Dr. Clawson told us she was not ill, had no infections, and it must be a "tooth" problem related to the sinuses. He referred us to an extremely expensive feline oral surgeon who removed 3 teeth and nearly $3000 later the cat was still sneezing hundreds of times a day. We were exasperated and finally sought out our old vet from where we lived before, 40 minutes away, who promptly diagnosed a chronic herpes sinus infection which is currently controlled by a $20 per month medication. All that money wasted and more importantly time that the cat was suffering from a mis-diagnosis by Dr. Clawson, not to mention 3 unnecessarily extracted teeth. While everyone makes mistakes and we don't expect our vets to be perfect, we do expect their clinics to be clean, their staff to be professional, and their services to quickly and efficiently help our animals when they are suffering. None of which happened at All Care. To say we were disappointed with our experiences at All Care is an understatement. We will never go back. We have returned all five of our animals to the care of our original vet 40 minutes away and despite the drive couldn't be happier. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone, unfortunately. read more
