After visiting a couple times I decided to ask about a special order for my nieces wedding shower~a Cinderella slipper on the pillow. Wow! The gem of Geneva!! Chef Roby is gifted. He is a true artist. We used to hangout there once a week while our kids took piano lessons down the street. We love the desserts, the soups, gelato.. everything is delicious! We love the atmosphere and most of all, we find Ester's (Chef Roby's wife) sense of style elegant and classic. It gives the entire place a sense of home. The staff is well trained and professional, clearly a product of the owners characteristic attention to detail. When you walk in it is as much a confectionary as it is a museum displaying chef Roby's masterpieces. read more

We not only had fun ooohing and awing over the implausible appearing chocolate superstructures, but we thoroughly enjoyed every last bite of the gelato as well. I had the coffee, my wife had the salted caramel. It was very much like what I've tasted in Italy, and nothing like what the grocery carries as "gelato". Roby's is even conceited enough, and rightfully so, to display in large lettering the difference between coffee and ice cream. You can equate it to the difference between an end table and paper. My family and I stopped at the Chocolate Kitchen on our way to Lake Geneva WI this past December 2014. The store is super cute with fun chocolate decor such as the life size Hawks Hockey Player. They offer an array of chocolate desserts, coffee, hot chocolate and gelato. My kids enjoyed the giant size chocolate chips cookies and chocolate covered pretzels. My favorite was the raspberry macaroons. We will definitely return next time we're in the Geneva area. read more

Went there today with my kids, had the banana sea salt caramel and a coffee. Great coffee, good dessert and decent service. What I really liked most is the ambiance of it, very charming and quaint. The restaurant showcases several pieces of artwork all made of chocolate or spun sugar while playing on a small tv an episode of food network that shows how the chef made a 930lb sculpture out of chocolate. Forget the brunch. Maybe they should stick to desserts because they don't seem to be set up for brunch. We should have known when the breakfast menu was only found at the cash register screen. Went in with family of four, ordered two waffles, crepes, and an omelet. Crepes and omelet came out first and server said problems with the waffle maker would delay the two waffles. First waffle came and the server said the second would be another five minutes. First waffle had a hair in the whipped cream, so we sent it back. It came back quickly because it was to be the second waffle, but of course the second waffle plate was now delayed another 5 minutes. So two of us finished eating, one was eating, and the fourth was still waiting on a waffle. Crepes and omelet were just ok. Waffles were decent. The coffee was good, but came out a while after we sat down. No compensation and minimal apology showed little regard for customer service. We weren't looking for a freebie, but they didn't seem to care as much as we felt was appropriate. read more

There are so many amazing choices and you will be able to indulge your sweet tooth! The shop is clean and cute with many specialized Chocolate statues and artworks. It is really something amazing to see! As an early start to a Bachelorette party, I took my girlfriend here as a Bride to Be for Dessert after dinner downtown Geneva with family members and friends. They crafted a specialized Chocolate Rose in the colors of her wedding! I did call ahead to request it made special as now it is a lovely memento which she will be able to keep forever. I love their menu here at All Chocolate Kitchen! I have sweet tooth that is why I really appreciate this place! I really love their Chocolate cake with some syrup drizzled around and some vanilla ice cream on the side. I also tried their Caramel Hot Chocolate Bomb and it was a surprise that the taste of it is perfect for the cake. Such a delicious experience! I am also impressed with their service, the food serves so quickly, and you just have to wait 5-10 minutes before your order will be served. All of the staff here is really great, decent, personable, and well-trained. They all know how to treat the customers so well. No wonder why a lot of their old customers keep coming back again and again. This place is so cozy, clean, bright, and wide. The well-maintained interior is full of design. They have plenty of seating, all tables are organized, and the whole place is relaxing. Anyone who wants to visit this place will absolutely enjoy their stay for sure, just like me. Next time I visit this place I will be going to get other flavors of their cakes and ice cream. Can't wait to explore their menu! Will visit here again soon when I have some free time. Review Take II: I received a very prompt response from the owner Chef Roby after my post below. A true testament to good customer service. It appears there was some confusion happening amidst all of the Swedish days madness and mayhem. The place was packed and the girl at the counter had confused me a little when I asked if they had chocolate ice cream. They don't carry ice cream. They were out of chocolate gelato the night we were there but we will go back to try again. Chef Roby assured me they would have the chocolate :) Review Take I: Hmmm. So wanted to love this place. I have heard such amazing reviews. The atmosphere and decor were spot on perfect. The ice cream was meh. The gelato was better but I just wasn't blown away. Perhaps I had set the bar too high in my mind going in. The prices seemed a tad high too. Not sure I will be back, at least not with my three boys. They were so crazy disappointed that the chocolate ice cream had run out and the rest of the flavors were too complicated. (they are 3, 4 and 7). read more

Called to ask about their covid safety procedures and Norma answered the phone and took a generous amount of time to explain in detail what they are doing as far as covid safety procedures. So disappointed in this place. It was filthy and so cluttered with "look at how great we are" advertisement. Two bathrooms and one was filthy and the other was out of order. The dust clinging to the light fixtures in the main room was distracting. Hot coffee was good along with the chocolate croissant but they need to close for a day and do a deep cleaning. read more

The staff seemed nervous and afraid to fully engage my family as customers for some reason... we had macaroons (loved), hot chocolate(hated), cherry root beer float( decent), and a pixie... but they called it something else. I'd think a pixie for $4.50 would be delicious but it was below average. I was annoyed that they didn't have stoppers for the hot chocolate and requested a sleeve for the cup of my 8 year old but for some reason that request fell through the cracks. We also wanted to get gelato or sorbet, thank God we sampled what we thought we wanted, it didn't agree with any tastebuds in my family. We will not visit this place again. read more

Both omelets were over done and the side of potatoes were old (shriveled and tough) and cold. Love this place! We visit often for sweet treats, and have always had a great experience. But more recently I learned that they do some catering items as well! We ordered several "Linguetties" (they're kind of like little pizzas) and a tub of strawberry lemonade gelato for an event that we had. Everyone loved it and was asking where it was from!!! And the service was fantastic. We explained that it was for a wedding rehearsal and the lady was so sweet and kind and even sat with us and wanted to see photos of my dress. I got a few quarts of Gelato here a couple weeks back. The Gelato itself was pretty good. Nothing like actual Roma Gelato, but tasty. Way overpriced but that fits the neighborhood and I was expecting as much. The reason I give it 1 star and will never return here is the customer service. There was a line of about 15-20 people waiting to be served and a young man and his girlfriend walked to the front of the line, cutting in front of everyone. They proceeded to order and when someone in line explained that they were cutting, they uttered an obscenity and said, "my sister's friend works here." Then the young girl working there laughed and rolled her eyes and served her friends. It was so utterly ridiculous, like something out of a Larry David show. I have never in my life seen such rude service. I was so shocked I couldn't even believe it had happened. My party and I talked about it for a good half hour after we left the place... THAT is how unprecedented it was. I understand the woman working there was just a snotty high school kid (or appeared to be about that age), but still... If you are going to charge $20+ for a quart of ice cream, I expect to be treated kindly and courteously. I consider myself to be a very laid back person and try to understand that, "Hey, everyone has a bad day." But wow..... I have never seen anything like it. For someone to use a curse word at an entire group of people and the employee just laugh..... Incredible. read more

I love visiting chocolate shops, but this place was a disappointment. They only had a couple of chocolate drinks to choose from, and one was Ghirardelli hot chocolate. Why go to a chocolatier to get a chocolate drink that you could buy somewhere else? They seemed to have a smaller selection of chocolates in comparison to other places. I did enjoy their chocolate sorbet, but I won't be going out of my way to come back to this place. read more

All I can say is that the lady behind the counter was right. The caramel truffle was like Heaven in my mouth! It was creamy and delicious, and really hit the spot. I thought it was completely worth the $2. They are beautifully crafted, and are exactly the flavor it says they are. I also had the cupcake one, and it was SO good! I also had the chance to try the sugar cookie gelato and it went down so smooth! It was way better than any ice cream I've ever had, and the price is comparable to an ice cream shop like Oberweis. I loved this place until the last week! Wanted to throw my girlfriend a baby shower there; which according to their website they not only do but assist with. Filled out the information page online Thursday and it said someone will contact you in 24 hours. Saturday I called there to which I was told no manager was there to talk to but she took my name and number. Called again on Sunday and was told the same thing again! Now it's Monday evening and still nothing after three attempts. It's clear my business is not wanted! Found another "sweet spot" in Geneva and had everything settled within one phone call.
