At this point they have thousands and thousands of my dollars from work on our old house. My grief is that a finishing part of a project where I misunderstood the scope specifics (admittedly likely due to my fault) now has me searching for a professional plumber to finish. I'm to be left with a "roughed in" half bath addition. My bad that I was not fully clear on that meaning. Their plumber onsite said it'd be relatively quick and easy- under an hour- to finish off. The office bid me 600 more of my dollars. They then came down a bit from that but in my opinion the quote is still crazy high for "about an hour... easy " work, particularly as I am an ongoing customer in an open project. I completely understand I would expect to pay for additional work out of original scope, but seriously? Such a high quote for an hour for what reportedly is a simple job for the plumber? Seems very unreasonable to me. They've now lost a customer and left sourness in the wake. It's a shame. I've learned my lesson. Not only was the person that answered the phone really nice but they also tried their best to fit me in as soon as possible. The drip of the leak was driving me insane and making me so anxious. My technicians name was Eric. Not only did he explain to me what the issue was but he too was also very nice and answered all my questions (because you know, your girl is no expert so I hope I didn't annoy him ). He also told me up front of what it would cost. For me shopping around, their prices are great! He did a great job, checked that everything worked and even showed me the pipe of where it broke (since I was so curious!). From start to finish, great customer service! Thank you so much! Will never use them... Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling overcharged. I will not be using this company again and would not recommend them based on my experience. I contacted two other well established plumbers in clark county regarding the water heater replacement and installation. The results were: one was $1,200.00 cheaper and one was $750.00 cheaper. I get stuck on this disparity and even get angry. Then I remember the $598.00 you charged us to unclog a kitchen drain at my 93 yo fathers house recently..... for a senior citizen, a veteran, not to mention my repeat customer business for 4 years.
