Warning.... Do not take your dog to All Fur Love for grooming in Washington!! I scheduled an…read moreappointment for a hair and nail trim for my small Pomeranian Chihuahua. Today when I showed up I explained I wanted her hair shaped and trimmed and nails done. 2 hours later they called me and said she was ready. When I showed up they had a bandana tied around her neck covering the front. Which I thought was weird because they never have done that before. But my dog seemed happy and I paid for the service and left. When I got home I took off the bandana and noticed they shaved a patch of hair off of her neck and there is a huge chunk of hair missing down to the skin. I immediately knew why they put the bandana on her to cover up their mistake. I called All Fur Love and asked to talk to the groomer. I explained what I found and told her I was very disappointed that they weren't honest with me when I picked her up. They tried to hide it and covered it up without saying anything. The groomer denied making any mistake or trying to cover it up and claimed the dogs hair was like that when she got there! Are you kidding me? It most definitely wasn't. I told her I don't appreciate being lied to and expected a full refund and to talk to the owner. She then claimed to be the owner and refused to admit any wrongdoing. They did eventually refund me for the cost of the appointment, but I am so disappointed in how they handled this! If they were honest when I showed up and said that there was an accident and showed me the damage, I would have been understanding. But to lie and say her hair was like that when she came is just dishonest and shameful. I will not be going back to this business and either should you!

I've had issues with him before over the $70 exam fee that he spent doing for less than two minutes to tell me yep he's okay all for $70. I'm telling you these people will hurt your dog and then act like it was yours or the dog's fault! SOUTHWEST EMERGENCY VET CLINIC came up with EMERGENCY CARE HOURS M-F 5:00 pm until 8:00am & 24 hrs Sat. & Sun. (normal hours that a regular vet is closed). I grabbed my baby and rushed down to the clinic only to find a CLOSED SIGN on the door with a "SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE" noted at the top. Confused by the "CLOSED UNTIL SATURDAY 10/6 @ 5:00pm", since 10/6 is a Monday (not a Saturday), so what day and time are they really open??? I called the emergency # given at the bottom (since my puppy is still struggling to breathe), when the girl answered...I was told that there were NO VETS AVAILABLE therefore they are CLOSED and I could take my dog to the emergency clinic in LAS VEGAS (2 hrs away) or WAIT until the vet clinics open at 8 am in St. George (still 2 hrs until opening). Initially I really loved the customer service here. Some younger girls were working and not only did my pet love them- but I did as well. They were warm, helpful and outgoing. Then something shifted - I walked in one day and the owner Kate was discussing prior employee with another customer. Bad mouthing them and discussing how the had moved to work for her "competition". Maybe I'm just too "community over competition" oriented but this experience put a horrible taste in the mouth. Everytime I've seen Kate the owner after she's just very off putting, she's condescending and rude. Not a friendly woman in any form. There are other local pet stores in stgeorge that you could patronize that undoubtedly treat their employees, past employees and customers with more kindness. Also, the owner is VERY money oriented. It doesn't really matter how much you've been there-there used to be free samples which they now charge for.
