I am a 73 year old grandma on a fixed income. I was one of Skyler's first customers when he started his business, All Home Pest Management, about 2 years ago. He has been providing me with monthly service to prevent bugs and rodents. I have no complaint with the quality of his service. However, due to a recent experience with him, I am cancelling my service. I no longer feel comfortable doing business with him. In December, I was dog sitting at my son's house for a few days. My son told me he had a problem with a rat infestation in his house. I wanted to help out my son and his family to get rid of the rats, so I naturally called Skyler. Skyler told me he would charge $125 for a rodent inspection. When he came out on Wednesday, he told me there was a significant infestation and the cost for the trapping/exclusion service would be $8,100. He said he felt bad for me, so he waived the $125 inspection fee. I believed that Skyler's prices were in the range of other businesses in his profession, so I signed a service agreement to have the work done. That day Skyler did the inspection and put out about 8 traps to catch mice and rats. He was there maybe 2 hours at the most. When my son got home on Saturday, I told him what the cost was and that I had signed a service agreement. He was very upset. He said the cost was outrageous and he would not allow me to spend this kind of money. He told me to cancel the agreement immediately. I thought my son was perhaps over reacting, so to gather information, I contacted two other pest control companies that service my area. I described in detail what Skyler had said he would do for the quoted price of $8,100. I asked the companies what they would charge for the service I described. Each of these companies, who have very high satisfaction ratings on Yelp, said their charge would be under $2,000. After receiving this information, I contacted Skyler on Monday and cancelled the agreement. Skyler told me that I owed him the $8,100 because I had signed the agreement, but he would settle for payment of $3,350. I have contacted two attorneys. It was cost prohibitive to hire an attorney, but each one said I could take Skyler to small claims court. I do not want the stress of taking Skyler to small claims court. I just want to be done and share my experience with future customers who might want to consider this company for providing services. I am out $3,350 and have learned a very expensive lesson. Always get multiple quotes for services even if you have been happy with a service provider. It is a competitive market and there are many good companies to do business with. read more

Had terrible gopher problem for quite some time. I was a little skeptical anyone could get rid of the gophers, but was so bad I had to try. Fernando is very thorough and conscientious. Initially took the 3 service package which helped, but did sign up for monthly service. Fernando is very responsive and responds to texts very quickly. He has always worked me into his schedule within a day. My yard is looking great. All signs so far are gone. I know he will check monthly, and will make any additional treatments needed when I call. Have used Skyler for many years and for several different things. We had a gopher issue that was handled in 2 treatments. He also got rid of ALL our rats within a month. He sealed all the openings and cleaned up the nesting as well. He also comes by every 3 months to spray our house for bugs. Not to mention he was able to get rid of our tick problem quickly as well. I've been living at my property for over 15+ years and had never experienced a rat problem. My neighbor had a shed in their backyard which began to attract rats. Once they destroyed the shed the rats infested my sheds and house.
