We contacted All My Sons movers to move our items that were in a storage unit to our house. Their final price was more than we expected. In all fairness though, they were professional in loading and handling our items. I would recommend their service to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE SAFETY, PUNCTUALITY, OR ANYTHING YOU OWN All My Sons/New City Moving is trying to buy off the bad reviews. The supposed customer satisfaction manager, Crystal Rhodes, could not be less helpful if she tried. Do not delete your bad reviews and do not use this DANGEROUS moving company! There are infinite accounts to be created and spread information on any platform available. Crystal, I will not stop until this company is disbanded and the entire staff is brought to justice by any means necessary. It's a short trip from DFW to the Carrollton office. If you (foolishly) decide to go with All My Sons/New City Moving, prepare to pay $2k (yes, two thousand) for a one bedroom move. It'll take nearly seven hours (not including the hour late arrival for the first move of the day) to go from one bedroom to another less than a mile away. Take photos of everything you own prior to their careless manhandling and document every inch of the home you're leaving and the one you're moving in. They might also "lose" petty things, like they stole laundry pods from me. Great job, Freddie. Everything I own that was moved by these clowns was broken, much of it irreparably. The building I live in has huge chunks of plaster and paint taken out of the walls from these movers. The crew was drunk, slow, and left trash everywhere. They damaged a portion of the 100+ year old flooring that had to be removed. I provided evidence weeks in advance that the floor would need protection. One of the crew left his tablet unattended and I was able to see what he left on the screen. On it was a list of everything I owned to be moved by the movers (provided by me weeks in advance) - no surprise items. They had prepared and supplied a three man crew then showed up claiming they needed five men. They then waited around to show up with two day laborers who were clearly not affiliated with the company. I cannot express how frustratingly slow all five of these movers worked, padding for time and getting more of an hourly rate. You're paying to have them scroll TikTok and hide in the truck. The last (and probably most horrifying) element of the day was the workers' attitudes. The leader, Freddie, was incredibly hostile and aggressive and yelled/cursed at me. If you are a woman considering these movers, think about what it would be like to be alone with them and have them know where you live. These are dangerous men in many ways. I have not felt safe since the moving incident more than one month ago.

Sexual Assault, No Apology, No Accountability - Austin South One of All My Sons' movers sexually assaulted my wife during our move -- non-consensual physical contact while she was alone in a room. We filed a police report the same day. Austin Police investigated, and the case is now filed in Austin Municipal Court as a Class C misdemeanor. The company acknowledged this in writing but never once called, emailed, or reached out to apologize. Zero contact. They also damaged our property. When I filed a claim, they sent a settlement agreement with a gag clause that would have prevented us from speaking publicly. I refused to sign unless they removed it. They refused. I've attached emails showing their written acknowledgment of the sexual assault report, my request to narrow the gag clause, their refusal, and their complete lack of follow-up after a police investigator visited their office. No apology. No accountability. No resolution. Just a company that protects itself, employs movers with dangerous behavior, and still expects the victims to pay thousands for the privilege.

My friend hired this company to move her because she has a leg injury and could not move herself. Plus, she wanted big strong movers to not have to have friends and family take of work. She spoke to Gerardo at this business and was told that for the quoted price they would set the furniture up. They were supposed to arrive at 11 AM and did not arrive until after 4 PM. They did not have to pack anything because my children and I had gone over and done the packing for our friend. They charged her for packing supplies anyway and doubled the price of the total move. When they arrived at the new apartment, they put everything in the living room and did not set up any furniture. The individuals who showed up to do the move, appeared in experienced. I do not recommend this company.

Wild, they offered me 800 then 1050, for a refrigerator that cost this much today. Even after paying for extra insurance... Horrible.

I want to begin by stating that I am not the type to cause a fuss with businesses. As a US Army veteran, I understand that things don't always go according to plan, and I try to be reasonable and patient. However, after what I've experienced with this company, my patience is completely exhausted, and I feel completely insulted by the way I've been treated. I booked a move for December 24th, 2024, Christmas Eve, which I initially thought was fine if the move could be completed. Little did I know, this would turn into a nightmare. One of your workers even mentioned they were going to cancel the move and reschedule--perhaps they should've done that instead of proceeding with this disaster. To summarize, the movers managed to destroy my Samsung Bespoke refrigerator. Now, I'm sure accidents happen, but what I don't understand is how your company, which boasts 25 years of experience, failed to secure the refrigerator before loading it up. The level of care was absolutely lacking (see the included video). To make matters worse, I feel like your company is doing next to nothing to resolve this situation, and my once perfectly functioning refrigerator is now broken. I feel like this company has completely dropped the ball when it comes to doing their due diligence in replacing the fridge. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company do so at their own risk. You might have a better chance at moving without issues, but in my case, it has been an absolute mess. The movers clearly lacked proper training, and it shows in the damage to both my property and my home. I paid over $900 for the service, and they didn't even complete the move. For that money, I expected a full and careful relocation of my items--not a botched job where only a few items were moved, two couches, a washer/dryer, and the refrigerator, of course, being destroyed. After the fridge was ruined, it seems like the movers decided to spare my TV--but at that point, the damage had already been done. The settlement offer for my refrigerator was $800, which is not only insulting but also laughable. This refrigerator originally cost me $4,150. Your policy states that, in the case of damage, the company will either repair or replace the item, or offer a cash settlement based on the item's depreciated value. The fridge's depreciated value is not $800. In fact, the exact model is currently selling at Lowe's for $3,298, which makes your offer even more ridiculous. What really frustrates me is that I'm still without a fridge, can't get groceries, and have had spoiled food piling up. Every time I contact customer service, I'm told my claims specialist is "out of office"--how convenient. If this is the way your company treats its customers, it's no wonder there are so many negative reviews. Let's not forget that I also paid $175 for upgraded insurance, which came with zero deductible and coverage up to $5,000. Yet here I am, with an $800 settlement that doesn't even begin to cover the cost of the damage done. And to top it all off, my brand-new home's walls are now scratched up and have holes in them, all thanks to your movers' lack of training. No padding to protect the walls while moving items, no ratchet straps to secure heavy pieces, and no grip pads on the ramp. I hired your company to avoid these kinds of issues, but now I regret that decision more than anything. I can honestly say I would have had better luck doing this myself, with no prior experience in moving, than trusting your so-called "professionals." I'll continue to dispute the $800 settlement, because it is a grossly insufficient and unfair amount. I can't believe anyone in your company, especially a claims specialist, would accept such an insulting offer for an item valued at thousands of dollars. This is absolutely horrible business practice. It's clear your company has no regard for customer satisfaction or proper handling of items. If I could give zero stars, I would.

There has been a known rodent problem since September that management has failed to properly address or communicate to tenants. Several of my belongings were damaged, and others exposed to mice excrement as pictured. The only response from management has been to place glue traps, which do nothing to resolve the larger issue. When I requested to move units because of the infestation, I was initially offered a new one at a higher rate, which I found shocking and poor customer service, and then moved to another unit on the same floor--only to find that one quickly infested as well. Despite acknowledging the rodent issue, management offered no meaningful assistance or compensation beyond insurance that didn't cover the extent of the damage. This experience was extremely disappointing. Avoid storing your items here, and if you are currently stored on the 3rd floor, I would strongly suggest checking your items for signs of rodents.

Construction of the facility makes perfect sense. The main office is located on the first floor, next to three large garage doors. You can back vehicles into the garage bay to unload, out of any inclement weather. Each bay door can be individually opened via keypad access code. There are also two sliding doors--one inside the garage bay, and the other on the opposite side of the building. Both require an access code. Near each entrance is an elevator. Individual floors, other than the first, are restricted by access code. There are also a few carts available for customer use. There appear to be at least 4 storage floors. Customer access is from 6am to 9pm. The managing staff are onsite. The storage units and each floor appear to be quite pristine. Climate control is set to keep the storage facility between roughly 65F and 78F. For newer rented units, they are transitioning to cylinder lock and key; no more lock combinations to remember or pad locks. The facility requires you to insure the belongings that you wish to store. They will automatically enroll you in an insurance policy at $12 a month for $2000 coverage. However, if you have your own insurance (e.g. renters) that covers property in storage, you can provide them a declarations page, and they will accept that. Other than that, there are one time fees for a lock (if you don't have a cylinder lock of your own) and an administrative setup fee. Rent is prorated for the move-in month, and then turns into month-to-month. So that means if you have to move out, move out by the last day of the month, otherwise you'll be charged for another month if you still occupy the unit on the 1st of the next month. Finally, there appears to be at least 4 pricing tiers for identical units, based on location in the storage facility. So you may wish to check out multiple units and their locations within the facility that strikes a balance between desired size, location, and price. Overall: well-designed, secure, and well-maintained.

I think it's really odd there was no sign of break other than them removing my lock nothing was broken on the door. But I was late with my payment so they broke my lock off and placed their own lock, then when I paid up they left an extra lock in the unit. It appeared they threw the replacement lock on the floor on top of all my things that had been thrown and scattered all over the floor from the break in. Honestly it feels like they were the ones that went in and took all my tools that I use to make a living. I think they were trying to recoup money since they thought I wasn't going to pay before they auctioned it off. It's really some bs and my instincts are strong about this one. I believe it was broken into last week. If yall had your unit on Victor street broken into on the third floor last week, I would definitely call to complain to the owner or the corporate office for public storage on Victor street in Austin tx. Especially if you were about to go into auction or were late on your payment. I think it's wrong that there are no cameras in the halls of this place and what's the point of have onsite property managers or anything if they aren't reporting the storages being broken into or calling the owners. Why do we have to go to our storage a month later to find everything missing. I really feel they either go in or have someone go in for them to steal. There was a suspicious dude outside when I went he was literally sitting in his truck just watching people drive in and out. He wasn't security or maintenance. I have half a mind to sit and watch for suspicious behavior because I paid to have peace of mind and my peace is gone along with 5,000.00 worth of my tools!!!!! I covered my tools in blankets that's why it feels it was an inside job. The main items missing were my tools mechanic tools and a back pack containing all my medical records and birth certificates of my children's. I have OCD and my storage was neatly organized so I know exactly what was taken. I read some where that public storage takes your legal docs or medical paperwork out of the storage before it goes to auction. I'm pretty sure it was an employee went took my valuable things along with the back pack so they could pass it off as normal procedure. They didn't count on me paying my bill before the cutt off date.

It's a larger facility. Exits are marked, but I'd also like signage pointing to the front entry, differentiated from side exits that open to the outside.
