They are our repair men for life now. They'll be coming annually for our dryer vent maintenance. Thank God our dryer broke when it did because Mauricio said our dryer and the vent hose was dangerously jammed up with lint. A fire was just waiting to happen. He was here almost 3 hours cleaning and maintaining our dryer along with fixing it. He was so thorough. We called them because they had the highest reviews. They really lived up to the positive public opinion. He also came on the same day that we called and stayed until 8:30 pm for which we are very thankful. I can finally get a load of laundry done. read more

Don't consider myself a difficult person but after an initial good impression with Mauricio when he came to fix our Samsung tv - the tv started having the exact same issue in less than 2 weeks. Reached out by phone and text - finally heard back that he was out of town and he would be back on Saturday. Contacted him again once after the weekend he was back and sent video of the tv having problems. Unfortunately, have heard nothing! It's now been 3 weeks. Nice to say there is a warranty but at the end of the day - warranties are only as good as the company/person who backs them. Even though I wasn't expecting a long term fix, I had certainly hoped the money I had spent would have bought more than 2 weeks of time. Very disappointing, would not recommend. Update: Mauricio reaches out wanting to make things right. He had a personal emergency and acknowledged he should have communicated that. Life happens - I appreciate him going out of the way and making sure I was satisfied. read more

I highly recommend All My Sons Appliance Repair! Mauricio did great work! He was able to come repair our refrigerator and dishwasher on the same day that I called. Mauricio was able to diagnose what was wrong with our appliances very quickly and was able to repair them. He answered all of our questions. Mauricio is professional, timely, and kind. We called due to having issues with our dryer. Mauricio was great. He came out the same day that we called, assessed the dryer and repaired it on the spot. Price was very reasonable! We will definitely use them again if we run into any other issues with our appliances. Highly recommend. read more

He came out same day and even after his work hours. Really helpful as my dryer just died the day before. He diagnosed the issue right away and did a great job fixing it as well as cleaning the inside of the dryer and the vent. He also provided info on how to maintain it so it doesn't happen again. He was very fair with the pricing and and went above and beyond wroth every penny. If you are in the Katy area and need something fixed Call these guys first. You wont regret it and will most likely save money. I never review places but this guy earned it. read more

He came out within 1 hour of our call, diagnosed our issue, was HONEST about how long it would take and gave us a price. We received our tv back today and it is as good as new and he even gave us a warranty. We would use him again if we ever had issue with another tv. read more

Called Mauricio at 6pm on a Friday after my plasma TV went dead. He offered to come that same night or Saturday morning. I said Saturday was fine and he promptly showed up when he stated he would. He checked TV and determined the power supply board was defective. After calling the manufacturer, he told me the new part would be $250 and for him to pick up TV, fix, test, and deliver back to me it would be $140 for $390 total. $50 was a deposit for him coming out to my house to diagnose. Deposit was applied to final bill. Part was expected to take 2 weeks to arrive, but Mauricio replaced and returned TV within 4 days. TV worked perfectly upon receipt. Was also able to negotiate the price down another $40. Great service, great expertise, professionalism, trustworthy, and very friendly! Highly recommend! read more

Mauricio was fantastic! He came out the same day that we called about our washing machine. He fixed the problem and was fair and reasonable with pricing. I'm glad to have someone so knowledgeable about appliances that we can call!! We should have asked more questions at the time of the quote. Glad to hear there are cheaper options to fix the issue now. I may have just had a one-off experience because everyone seems to love them, or maybe the tech we got wasn't honest, but I called them since our washer was struggling during the spin cycle. They quoted us over $400 to fix this and said it was because it's a complicated and expensive part to replace. Luckily, we ended up doing some research and the part was $30 at Lowe's and it took maybe 20 minutes to replace ourselves. We had to pay the diagnostic fee which was over $100 even though we already knew what was wrong with it. The whole experience felt dishonest. Even if they used authentic parts I can't see that they would be that much more expensive and the labor was definitely not complicated. Next time we're going to research the fix before calling anyone. Sucks that good appliance repair companies are so hard to find.

The week before I was to fly out for Christmas holidays, the electrical system in my Pops' house surged + blew out the transformer on the board behind the control board on the 12yr old Kenmore double oven. In fact, the entire electrical system/panel for the house had to be replaced (blew out other stuff too), but that's another story. First I called a Sears repair fellow to come out two days before Christmas - who showed up for less than 5 minutes, improperly diagnosed the issue (said it was the control board), and said that the part (control board) was no longer available - which if it was a bad control board, that would've been true as that part is no longer being manufactured. I was beyond stressed, thinking I'd have to replace the entire unit ($3000+!), I spent days scouring Home Depot, Lowes, and the internet - trying to find a replacement while in town for the holidays. Then, just a couple days before I was scheduled to fly back home, I remembered about putting a request for help out on yelp, so I did that + almost instantly Serhii responded. We exchanged a few messages + he assured me - "don't worry Kate, everything will work out." I could see his profile was new + he didn't have any reviews, but the fact that he was already invested in helping me, having not even met me or seen the oven in person - was a major positive sign. I could feel that he was a good, solid person. He came over asap, PROPERLY diagnosed the issue, to the precise component on the board BEHIND the control board that had burned up in the electrical surge + ordered the appropriate part. Two days later, he + Vlad, his assistant, came back + violà - our oven was working within 30 minutes, no problem. Simply fantastic. Serhii will be my go-to Appliance Repair SuperHero from now on.

Yes it's expensive and yes the service isn't great, but it has a bunch of different options and it's good for browsing for sure. One of the best stores of its kind for browsing, I might add, and in some ways I think it's better than Bed Bath & Beyond honestly. And it has pretty good prices on lighting too and a lot of other places don't these days. I wasn't sure between 3 and 4 but Barbi insisted on 4.

This company will come see your problem on the same day you call. They are on time; in my case the repair man was early. He checked over my appliance and zeroed into the problem, told me what the cost was. I have had two other repair man come and worked on the appliance each one was considerably high. I opted to pay the fee they charge for coming to my house. All my son's appliance repair price was very reasonable, so I had them do the work. They were very professional and fast. I was very satisfied with the work and the repair man, if needed, I will use them again. I highly recommend this company if you have a need for appliance repairs. read more

Maurico is a great guy. I called at least 4 other places before I saw his company and none of the other places could come out the same day and even though I called on a Friday most did not work Saturday or Sunday just an FYI. Maurico came out the same day, diagnosed the issue with my washing machine quickly, fixed the issue within 1 hour and even tested before he left and made another slight calibration just so I wouldn't hear too much noise. He was very reasonably priced and went out of his way to provide 5-star service. He cleaned up and he was very kind. I will definitely recommend him to all of my family and friends. read more

Mr Maurice Mendeza from "All my Sons TV & Appliances Repair" made an appointment and came to my house and diagnosed my problem with my TV. Mr. Mauricio was friendly and helpful, he told me exactly what was wrong with my 75" Smart TV. He ended up taking the TV to his Shop, and within one week he brought it back working like new. My 60" plasma LG TV quit working. Mauricio came to my house, determined the problem and then took the TV with him to repair. He called to let me know the cost and asked me if I wanted it repaired before doing the work. He charged about 20% of what a replacement would have cost. Fast response, he came 2 hours after I called. The cost to come and check is reasonable. My TV is pretty old, 2006 plasma. hdmi board broke, and he estimated the cost and also mentioned that he may not be able to find the part..it has been discontinued. So I decided not to get it fixed.
