I called for a price quote on a wheel hub assembly for an Express. D Ward was taking the order and…read morethe first quote was a bit high and she found a friendlier part cost. So I ordered that and I was assured it would arrive the next day. It did I was called promptly and I was lucky ught the bus since my vehicle was rendered inoperative. S Shaw rang it up and I asked for a bag due to the incredible weight of the part. He did find a bag with handle which I thankful for. I then realized I had forgotten three items and D Ward rang those up and I was on my way with all the parts that I needed. Thank you Baxter Auto parts/carquest you helped me out in a tough situation.

I needed a special bit to remove my license plates screws (once you've had your plates stolen you opt for these kinds of things). I wasn't sure what bit I needed, but the guys at the store on this day were happy to let me try out everything they had. I went thru about a dozen different bits looking for the one I needed, and the staff was of good humour and helpful the whole time. I ended up not finding what I needed here, but I have to give them five stars for being so helpful on a day when most employees are giving you the stink eye for making them be at work. The service alone will make me return. END NOTE: Shortly after I left the store, I realized (d'oh) that I had used Allen key screws on the plates and that I already had a set of Allen wrenches in my car. Problem solved!

First I walk into the store and get a dirty look from them, and I then try warranting a o ring that was part of an O ring kit and Autumn then said their not doing it when every other oreilly's store has done it EVERYTIME, she then says that a secondary issue caused the O ring to expand which was my reason to warranty swap it, and nothing secondary would cause it to expand. Second time I go in for a part, and I try and price match it because oreilly's wanted 1770$ and another store wanted 633$. I then look at the part and then see below a part number that MATCHED the other auto stores part number , ford parts has a secondary number underneath their parts on most and that interchanges the part numbers. Autumn then said she called the other store and still continued to tell me that isn't the correct part number and to go to another store, absolutely ridiculous and not respectful. I would advise anyone to not work with that person because she was insanely disrespectful, not knowledgeable, and rude. She tried arguing with me telling me the part numbers don't match when I clearly showed they do!

Instead, I ended up wasting countless hours, hundreds of dollars, and eventually over $1,000 replacing them only 10,000 on these tires. About a year and half after purchasing the tires, my car started pulling hard to the right. Discount Tire told me it was probably an alignment issue, so they charged me about $200 for an alignment. Before I left, I specifically asked if the problem was fixed. An employee drove the car around the parking lot, came back, and confidently told me it was. The moment I pulled onto the main road, the car was still pulling just as badly. I returned again. They inspected the tires, said, tires are not worn but rotated these anyway, checked the alignment again, and still sent me home with exactly the same problem. At no point did anyone identify the real issue. They said tires are directional so were only able to rotate same side back to front. Thinking something might be wrong with the car itself, I even scheduled a dealership diagnostic. Thankfully, before wasting another half day and more money, my husband temporarily swapped the two front directional tires just as a test. The car immediately started pulling to the LEFT instead of the right. That proved the problem was the tires--not my alignment, not my suspension, not my car. Then few weeks later one tire completely failed and one day when leaving the house it was completely flat. I took it to Les Schwab instead. Within minutes, they found the tire had internally separated and could not be repaired. Here's the part that shocked me the most: Les Schwab immediately recognized that these were winter/snow tires and explained they are not intended to be driven year-round in our climate. That was the first time anyone had ever told me this. All 4 tires were separated and not usable. Discount Tire sold me these tires. They performed alignments on them. They inspected them multiple times while I complained about pulling. Not once did anyone mention they were winter tires being driven year-round or that this could be causing the problems. I ended up buying four new tires from Les Schwab. Their package includes free alignments, flat repairs, tire rotations, and a 60,000-mile warranty. The difference in customer service wasn't even close. My experience with Discount Tire felt like this: save $100 today... then spend hundreds more later on unnecessary alignments, waste hours chasing a problem they couldn't diagnose, and eventually replace a $1,000 set of tires far sooner than expected. That's not a bargain. That's expensive.
