He does an excellent job! He goes to wherever the car is to look it over in person. He can tell if it has ever been in an accident and where, if there are leaks, if the engine is good, if there are codes, etc. He checks all electronic equipment on the car to make sure it works properly which is just as important as under the hood. The Honda Accord that I had him inspect from a large dealership came back with a clean bill of health! It is always difficult to buy used vehicles sight-unseen from thousands of miles away, especially older/classic cars that can run the spectrum from mint-clean to disaster despite looking really nice in well-framed photos designed to be flattering. His inspection was incredibly thorough and helped me steer clear of a vehicle that was the total opposite of what I was looking for from a mechanical standpoint. He inspected the vehicle quickly and sent me dozens of his own photos documenting all of the issues he uncovered. I was looking for a vehicle that I could drive, not repair or "work on". I likely would have had to turn around and try to re-sell this vehicle to someone who was looking to restore it- at likely an enormous financial loss. If you're buying a car in the Atlanta area, especially if you are unable to see the vehicle yourself before buying, give them a call. Got to the dealership and accepted the vehicle feeling confident in the report. Once I got home, 600 miles later, I inspected the car further. There were several broken and even missing trim pieces in the engine bay and rear of the car (mid-engine car). I should have spent more time looking at the car before I accepted it. I tried to call Lemon Squad several times and their virtual assistant "Scout" answers and then disconnects you when "transferring" your call to a representative. There is no email and their chat system does not work. There is no recourse or even an avenue to share your complaint with the company.

They stated multiple times over the years that their "classic car guy" was an expert and could handle a classic car. For the first 5 years of living in atlanta, I took my classic mercedes here until they finally told me their classic car guy was leaving and they wouldn't touch my car going forward. Frankly, they did 5 years of changing my oil and nothing else but they'd charge me for what they called "regular maintenance". Regular maintenance on a classic car should include a lot more than just topping up the oil and calling it a day, but every time I'd mention knocking noises or brake issues or anything else to them, they wouldn't address it at all so I had no idea if they thought it was an issue or didn't. Finally 5 years later, thank god their classic car guy left, because I took it over to a place in Decatur and all of the things I had been worried about, they found a reason, they gave me a full breakdown online of what they recommended and why, they answered all of my questions, and I could pay the invoice online and feel good about it. Update: As of 9:30 p.m., Jacob, the owner, repeatedly called and texted me after my review. He first falsely claimed I'd only visited once four years ago, then offered to pay me, which I refused. After that, he pulled up what he claimed were years of invoices that were not real, despite the fact that I have the original receipts for my own transactions. Even after I repeatedly told him to stop contacting me, he continued until I had to block his number. Based on both my experience and his behavior afterward, I would never recommend this business.
