On the days my kid walks in having a total meltdown, the instructors don't force him to just push through it with robot stoicism--they meet him exactly where he's at, respect his mood, and gently guide him back into the game. We looked into SSC and we were impressed, but of course you really need to go experience something before you can truly say what you think. My son as been with SSC for almost two years playing travel ball and taking lessons here and there. One of the biggest draws is its water source, relying on a natural water source that turns over frequently, the pool uses far fewer chemicals than most outdoor pools. Membership dues are reasonable and neighbors take pride in keeping it in great shape.
