We had moved to the valley recently and needed a smog for the DMV to clear our new registration for our plates. I read about All Smog online and we decided to head on over today. Angel immedately helped by performing the smog check while Miguel looked over our paperwork. He answered all our questions on registering. We had hoped we could go forward here to complete registration right here because services include the whole process plus license plates but since we had made one DMV visit and DMV requested the $600 to register right up front, so we have to go back and finish there, but you can be sure we will return for renewals because these two brothers treat everyone like gold! A Canadian customer was in the shop raving about Miguel and Angel. He returns to them all the time during his winter visits. They for me in quickly and diagnose the issue effectively. They serviced right away as well and advise of the wait time. They took me to see the car after going over cost and go over what they did as the engine was open. They pointed to every part and were transparent about the issue. I went to help take my mom's 2014 Hyundai Elantra that had the AC blowing warm air, knowing it most likely needed a Freon charge. That was the case but they also advised that valves had been leaked into From that and that their machine passed the leak test after, but since there was still moisture, they suspected another hose to be leaking slightly. They advise me that for future measures, they put in UV due to see where the possible leak might be coming from so they could follow up, but overall the work today should fix the AC to blow cold air for 1-2 summers. They had quarter $100 for an estimate, so the total with valve replacement, Freon charge, and work would be $334.75, which I found to be a good price for all of that if you take into account if I would've just paid for the estimate, the difference is actually a good price for everything. The fridge and coffee station seem to be more for their employees since there's no water or drinks for purchase, which is fine. To me, their focus on getting the work done over having people wait too long. If you do have to wait, I recommend you get a ride if you can since the chairs aren't too comfortable especially if you have back issues or need to use the restroom. Also, there not much to do around the area if you decide to wait and it's near a busy road so walking to the closest restaurant or gas station isn't too safe. read more
