Came by for dinner the other night and it was a tasty experience. All Spice is featured in the Michelin guide. Made a reservation and our table was ready upon arrival. Parking is available in their private lot or on the nearby residential street. There were numerous high end vehicles in the lot. All Spice is located inside a very old house. The dining room is dated and the service throughout the evening was very attentive. Dinner is either 3, 4, or 5 courses where each diner can choose their own course. Started off with the housemade sourdough and it was decent. It was served with some spread. The amuse bouche was tasty. The goat cheese tart was a generous portion and quite filing. I loved all of the accoutrements with this course. The cod course was good with different flavors to contrast the cod. The venison was tasty, especially with the different accoutrements. I liked the dessert course too. It was a decomposed cake presented in a very nice manner. Service throughout the evening was attentive and the ambiance was quite helpful for an extended dinner.

Wonderful experience, we had such a great time and can't wait to come back! Delicious food, enjoyed the wine pairing, and top-notch service. I'm vegetarian and I had lots of options to choose from, and each choice was so good! My husband enjoyed the non-vegetarian dishes very much too. Ambiance was great for a date night or special occasion with family. We left full and happy. Highly recommend!

Delicious as usual! This place never fails to impress me with the different combinations of food it supplies. I always enjoy my time here!

This review is long overdue! All Spice has become my go to place for all special occasions. The restaurant is a converted home which makes for a very intimate dining experience with a limited amount of tables available. The menu is prix fixe with the option of 3-5 courses and is updated regularly giving you the option to always try something new. On top of the stellar food, the service is next level. Silverware is switched out between every course and the waiter explains each dish as it's brought out. The parking spaces in the lot can be a bit cramped, but trust me this minor inconvenience is worth the food and service!

Went here again for our anniversary any entire l enjoyed the experience as much if not more! Very interesting concept that blends a bit of Indian and Middle eastern with western fare, with a lot of success. Beautiful creations, its clear that the chef almost treats this as art! Great selection of wines, though we brought our own. In addition to the menu, I also loved their amuse bouche and bread!

The service was great. The place was hard to find. It's nestled between two commercial buildings. Just a random cottage. There is some Parking. The whole set up is very quaint. This more fusion. The food is overall very good. Portion sizes are small but filling. You can have a three course or four course or five course meal. You'll pick from the appetizer and then entree and dessert. I had two entrees and could not finish the second. I got the new York steak and the gnocchi. I didn't get dessert so can't comment. Overall super cute place and decent food.

It was a great experience. All spice is a very intimate restaurant within a home. Parking was easy to find since they have their own private loft. Food was delicious, mainly American with Indian influences. Wine - very small selection, and not that great in my opinion. Both our wines were not great. I recommend brining your own bottle and paying the $15 corkage fee. Coffee - got the French pressed decaf, enjoyed it with dessert. Both my partner and I did 3 courses for $85 pp. we chose to do one dish from each category. Appetizers: Smoke black Cod - 4/5 it was more like a potato salad with cod in it. I just felt like it was too heavily dressed. There was a ton of texture though, so it felt light. Persimmon / asparagus salad (seasonal) - 5/5 loved the flavors for this one. Very good starter. Entree: (both of these entrees were an extra $8 supplemental charge) both 5/5 NY strip steak - cooked very well to a medium rare as I requested. The pepito sauce was great and the salad paired well with the dish Lamb loin - I don't even like lamb, but this was well cooked! It paired well with the charred broccolini and sauces. Dessert: impossible layer cake - 4/5. Loved the flavor profile but the texture for the cake itself was off. It tasted slimy.

We made reservations and service was great. The food was delicious. Our favorites were the seafood dishes and desserts are definitely worth trying. Highly recommend for a get together.

We've enjoyed All Spice at least 6 times over the past 6 years. Every time it impresses us with some of the most inspirational culinary creations we've ever experienced. And without the snobbish attitude. The food is artfully presented. The flavors are imaginative and layered complexity. Your taste buds will be in for a tantalizing explorative journey. The unassuming old house, the friendly unpretentious staff make this a great meal out to celebrate a special occasion or simply to embrace creative dining.

Celebrated my friend's birthday at All Spice. It was both of our first times at the restaurant, and we agreed that we had an overall great experience. All Spice was a cute house in the middle of a residential area that was converted into a restaurant. The place had ample parking on the neighboring streets where I parked, but I did note that it had its own surrounding parking lot when I walked closer to it. The interior was nicely decorated. It felt homey and welcoming. While the experience was certainly more of fine dining, we got the smart casual type of vibe. I made reservations for 5:30pm on a Wednesday. We were the only guests for some time and then a second party came later. We were localized in one main room, but there were multiple rooms in the house to seat more guests. Service was excellent. Food came out in a timely manner, and our server was on it! He was highly attentive and very nice. You can choose a 3-, 4-, or 5- course meal, and you don't have to match the others in your party. We both decided to get the 4-course meal as there were many things off the menu we wanted to try. I got 2 apps, 1 entree, and a dessert for my 4 courses. The food was beautifully presented, and they were flavorful. Complimentary cauliflower soup - This was a cold soup that came out in a small shot glass size of a serving. Great way to whet our appetites. Had some type of distinct spice flavor that I liked, such as cumin. House sourdough bread - Soft crumb with sliced olives. There was also house made butter. Black cod appetizer - This was a cold dish. Liked this one a lot because of the smokiness of the cod. Scallops appetizer - My favorite dish of the night. I ordered 2 scallops (2nd scallop cost extra). The scallops were large, plump, and juicy, which sat on these crispy crusts. Different flavors of sauces on the dish but overall I thought this also had an Indian inspired flavor. New York Strip Steak entree - I tried my friend's venison dish, but I liked mine way better. The steak was tender. Custard cake - Loved the caramel sauce, and the poached pear was the star of this dish moreso than the cake.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Overall: A great choice for prefixe. The extended review... Food: 4/5 - The menu set up is great with a bunch of different options depending on how hungry one is. I love that you can choose 2 entrees and 2 desserts if you so desire. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentive service. Ambiance: 5/5 - The setting is very nice. It's a well set up restaurant that isn't so claustrophobic and it's definitely quieter so that you can have good conversation over a very well crafted meal.

This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! They earned a Michelin Star for a reason. The menu is creative and crafty as you pick any 3 - 5 items regardless of order. Meaning, you could just do 3 deserts! I highly recommend this place and will go back.

Who knew there was a chic, little restaurant hidden away off of El Camino and 92? Certainly not me. Looking for a unique and delicious night out for a celebration, stumbled upon All Spice. It lived up to the unique and was a perfect place for a fancy celebration. The menu is a mix and match for a pre-set price. Yes, it's not cheap but the courses offered are luxurious, well presented and quite delicious. You probably don't want to come here every night, but it's perfect for that one special event. I'd love to say that I remember the details of everything we ate, but that didn't happen simply because we were enjoying the experience instead of taking Yelp notes. Honestly, everything in the photos was a good as it looks. The wine list was decent. Unusually, there were a few wines and cider that were made by the owners. Being new to winemaking, don't expect the wines to be outstanding. But given some time and experience, they could have a hand in the game. Parking is a private lot or plenty of street parking, but finding it can be a challenge. It's easier to drive around looking for the entrance on the back streets than El Camino. The building is an old, Victorian home, so dress accordingly. If it's hot outside, it'll be hotter inside. If it's cold outside, it'll be colder inside. They don't have a bar, but they do have a strange patio area that was locked up, so don't count on outdoor seating. Have fun, eat and drink, celebrate your special occasion!

I recently came here with my family and we ordered the basil ribeye, crispy spicy chicken special, tom yum scramble, and grilled chicken sandwich. Every single dish was packed with flavor and beautifully executed, but the basil ribeye truly stole the show. It's a must-try -- perfectly cooked, rich, and bursting with bold, savory flavors that keep you coming back for more. The rest of the dishes were just as impressive, each offering a unique twist that highlights the creativity of their menu. You can really tell they put thought into both the flavors and presentation. Service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The ambience adds another layer to the experience! It has a lively, energetic vibe that makes it perfect for a fun brunch outing, yet still feels intimate and cozy enough for a romantic date. One thing to note: this place gets busy, especially on weekends. Come early and be prepared for a wait, but trust me, it is WELL worth it. Highly recommend Taste & Glory if you're looking for something flavorful, unique, and consistently delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Note for self: between the beef and the lamb skewers, we actually preferred the beef. Maybe because it's a bit more fatty. Garlic sauce on the eggplant and vermicelli scallop is slightly spicy, but not too bad, probably from the garlic kick. Would come back again! Also it's super kid friendly surprisingly. Just a heads up, they only accept phone reservations for groups of 6 or more. If you have fewer than 6 people, it's walk-in only. Ordering is done through a QR code where you can add items to your cart. I actually liked that multiple people in the party can scan the QR code and add items themselves instead of having one designated person order everything or having separate carts that no one else can see. The only downside is that it can be easy to accidentally over-order if someone adds something you were already planning to get, so I recommend reviewing your cart carefully before submitting. Since this is a skewer restaurant, you probably won't get super full from just ordering skewers, so I recommend getting some main dishes as well if you want to feel satisfied without spending too much on just meat. Service was pretty quick and the skewers came out in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, they were sold out of a few items we wanted to try, which was a little disappointing, but maybe that's a sign I'll have to come back again. Everything we did try was delicious. The skewers were well-seasoned, and they also have extra seasoning available at the table. They allowed us to bring a birthday cake, stored it in their freezer for us, and provided plastic forks and paper plates, which was a nice touch. Our waitress was also very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would consider coming back when I'm in the mood for skewers. I don't think it's somewhere I'd crave all the time, but I have no major complaints. Parking can be a little difficult, but luckily we were able to find public parking at the garage on Flores Street.

The ambiance is a bit similar to a fast casual restaurant than that of a high end course meal and the service aligns with that. Bathrooms are in a bit of a sorry state and chairs are peeling at the edges. Service is a bit clumsy and rushed. No one asks for any food restrictions before the meal and it isn't asked when reservations are being made, so you'll have to actively speak up if you need this addressed. Dishes are only fully explained at the bar, if you sit at the standard tables you'll get a very basic dish explanation. The food is mostly Chinese Japanese fusion and some dishes knock it out of the park, like the chawanmushi which is fused with flavors of Chinese egg drop soup. Some really drop the ball, like the scallion noodles which were soggy and overly greasy, the oil was not properly infused with the green onion and so you just got mushy soggy plain oil flavored noodles. The course lacked consistency. Some dishes were incredible, some average, and some downright bad. There's a lack of consistency in the prep also, there were crab shells in the orange crab dish, there was a bad bitter uni in one of the chawanmushi, etc. I think the ambiance, service, and course doesn't add up to the $150 price tag. There's definitely potential but the lack of effort does affect the overall experience.

Besides the fried rice, the tuna and salmon sashimi are large, fresh, and high quality. However, the food here is both clean and fresh, and I had absolutely no discomfort after the meal. I also ordered chawanmushi and stir fried udon, both of which were very well executed. I would give full marks to this restaurant for both its sashimi dishes and main courses. The service is good, the environment is clean, and the dishes are priced normally, perhaps slightly on the higher side, but the value for money is reasonable. When we walked in the restaurant was practically empty and about 4 workers were standing around waiting behind the counter. We built our own poke bowls and there were many toppings to choose from, most of them free. The regular bowl lets you select 4 types of protein which is generous, but the server uses a scale to measure the weight. Regular poke bowl: The quality of the fish was decent, but lacked flavor, even with the sauces. This is partially my fault, but the amount of toppings on the bowl takes away from the overall taste of the poke bowl. Would prefer a more authentic Hawaiian style poke bowl over this.

If you're someone that likes to taste more of the natural flavors of each ingredient, then perhaps this is for you. I believe most if not all the sides were pickled but they tasted only very lightly pickled. The truffle mayo was delicious but only covered so much of the bowl so overall it tasted more like a salad with minimal dressing where the ingredients weren't quite uniting.

I felt taken care of before the lunch had even happened. The lunch itself was great- we did family style food and everyone loved it from the appetizers to the entrees and yummy sides. You really feel like you're in Hawaii on their back patio! Maria was our server and did a great job handling our group. Forever a special memory for us! We did the chicken lumpia (amazing), spring rolls and coconut shrimp as appetizers. Beef short ribs, chicken katsu & teriyaki chicken as entrees. Wouldn't change a thing on the menu we chose. It also comes with rice, salad and macaroni salad. Thank you Noelanis!!!

FOOD: 9/10 DRINKS: 9/10 SERVICE: 9/10 AMBIANCE: 10/10 What we ordered: Island Sliders (Spam, Kalua Pork, Katsu) Fish Tacos Pork Belly and Pineapple Bites Lilikoi (Passionfruit) Margarita Mai Tai FOOD: 9/10 The food is flavorful and yummy, as well as served hot. Of all the things we ordered, I think my favorite is the Katsu Sliders, which shocked me because I am not a fan of katsu lmao as it is normally underwhelming, respectfully. DRINKS: 9/10 The drinks are yummy, and you can definitely taste the alcohol in the best way possible. Strong, but not to the point where it overpowers the different flavors within the drink. The garnishments for the drinks are the cutest! SERVICE: 9/10 The staff are very friendly, attentive, and served the food at a decent time, considering how packed they were getting. AMBIANCE: 10/10 My absolute favorite. Everywhere you turn, there is a piece of Hawaii in every aspect of this restaurant in unique and eye-catching ways. The live music is my favorite and very good! I love all the island reggae hits sung as well as covers of different popular hits. I would say the ambiance and live music are what make me feel like I am in Hawaii for sure. You definitely feel the Aloha spirit out here!!!
