The waitress appeared in a timely fashion, took the orders, had drinks on the table in no time, and was very attentive to any and all needs. Ambiance: It was on a Saturday during sports season, so there was a lot of noise and chaos going on, but that is always how I remembered the Ground Round. It is NOT a restaurant that you are going to read a good book in. The fact that this restaurant also had high cathedral ceilings which increased the acoustics, made it a little more unbearable for people who like quieter spots. But to me and my friend, it was not a dealbreaker. Food: After all, what were we doing there for anyways, but the food? It was very good. She enjoyed her dish, and my burger was actually one of those "skyscraper" burgers that are impossible to grip with two hands or get into your mouth for a bite. After dining at the Ground Round again, I am moderately confident that I could take a bite out of the Prudential Center if the need arose. Don't get me wrong, the burger was tasty, juicy, and done to perfection, but it was yuuuuge. Overall, if I could give the Ground Round a 1/2 a star I would make my rating of them a 4 and a 1/2 stars venue.
