He is also funny and cool; as one of the other reviewers said, you'd like to have a beer with him. You can work with Mitch in two ways. One: he might happen to have the perfect car for you sitting in his lot already. If so, lucky you! He only sells cars that are in great shape, often managing to find what I call "car unicorns" (one-owner cars with great maintenance records from states without road salt or flooding). Two: if Mitch doesn't happen to have the right car for you, you can use him as a sort of "car sommelier." He'll help you figure out what kinds of cars you might like (which was super helpful for me), steer you away from bad years or bad models, and then, when you know what you want, he'll source you a great car. When the car arrives in PDX, he'll take it to a reputable mechanic to make sure it's in tip top shape. We were definitely going to use Mitch to source a car for us, but, alas, we unexpectedly found our own extremely rare "unicorn" at a different dealer. But I will absolutely use Mitch's services when it's time to replace our next car. In fact, I am looking forward to it. Shocking! Thanks, Mitch. You rock.

I traded in a 2008 Scion xB and paid some cash for a 1999 Ranger and 1993 F250…read more After I got it home, I discovered the keys for the F250 ignition did not unlock the doors. After I contacted them, they agreed to reimburse the cost of a locksmith to change the locks or make a key. I discovered the Ranger engine needed major engine repairs. They did not trigger the diagnostic computer I hooked up before purchasing, and the only sign was dirty coolant fluid. After a flush and fill at Oil Can Henry's, the drive home and driving it one day resulted in the fluid being a gallon low. Taking it to my mechanic they had to take apart the engine and discovered I had to replace the gaskets and pistons. I don't entirely blame Karz, as they would have had to disassemble the engine to find the problem and I don't expect used car dealers to do that. But it still cost me thousands more than I was expecting to spend.

They're not over priced, not under priced, just fair priced. There are special touches such as going off the lot with brand new tires from Les Schwab (and not the bottom rung either) that Paul put on before he felt comfortable selling the vehicle. The vehicles were clean, the lot was well cared for, and I got what I wanted, not handed off to the "finance manager" for the door polish plan. They do have a company they offer warranties through, but there was zero pressure to the offer. The next time I or my wife are looking for a quality used car, they'll be our first call. Honestly, I'll even wait if they don't have what I want in stock. Genuinely good human beings, and an excellent experience.
