I hate mechanics. Finding one that is all at the same time competent and honest (most I find are neither, and at best one of these) is hard. There are very few places on Staten Island I trust anymore. This place I went to only because they were open on a Sunday -- and the service was quick (maybe because it was a slow Sunday), reasonably priced, no up-selling, fair, and well done. I have been coming to All Tire for years. I came today for an inspection and to have my tires replaced and a few other maintenance items. The staff is so nice. I had my 8 month old with me, they came around and opened the door for me when they saw me getting out of the car with her. They welcomed me by my name when they looked up my licenses plate. they chatted wit's my daughter and put on a show for her. when I left, They called to give me a quote before proceeding with the tires to make sure I approved of the price (as they always have). always a great experience. read more

I was having an issue with my 2013 Corvette Grand Sport at highway speeds. There was a definite vibration and the steering wheel was rapidly shaking back and forth about 1/4" from side to side. All Tire installed 4 new Michelin tires, Hunter Road Force balanced them, and performed a four wheel alignment. The car drives and rides like it is brand new now. The manager Rob is very professional and understanding. I also spoke with Vinny who was excellent. Ramon performed all the mechanical work to perfection. Stopped by All Tires for a basic tire mounting. The shop scratched all 4 rims. The manager Rob insisted this was not from their work. I stopped by 3 tire shops and all 3 shops said they installed tires carelessly and scratched the rims. They caused $650 worth of damage to my rims. They keep insisting they did not damage my rims. This car is 5 months old 2021 Subaru wrx sti. If your a car person you know every scratch and ding your vehicle has. I've never changed these tires before. How can my rims have scratches only caused by tire changes/wheel mounting. I was told if I bring car in and leave overnight they would cover half the bill? Why should I pay half? I did nothing but try to receive a service I paid for expecting professional work. read more

Don't get an inspection here unless you want to wait 4+ hours. I came here to get an inspection once thinking it would be relatively quick and boy was I mistaken. I understand they only have so many bays available but this place operated very slowly and inefficiently. They kept telling me it wont be long there's only 1 car ahead of me for hours on end. Other people came in and waited for the same thing only to leave after about 40 minutes of waiting. After about 3 hours of waiting I saw it was finally time for my car to be inspected so i decided to watch it from the outside to see whats taking these guys so long. Aside from being slow as molasses, they took the most unnecessary steps to inspect the car. This car is about 4 years old at this point. Most places just plug in the OBD port to get a reading then slap the sticker on. Not this place. This is the first time i've actually seen a place put it up on a lift and check every inch of underneath the car with a flashlight. I could understand if I had an older car but it's quite obviously not that old. after about 40 minutes of inspecting the car I was told it passed. I checked the clock when I left and it had legit taken 4 hours to get an inspection. Would have ubered or even walked home if I knew this was going to be the case. Advise to management: Please have your team hurry up or at least be honest when doing inspections. If they had told me in the beginning it would take that long I would have come back another day went home and came back. There are so many other places to get an inspection nearby in 25-30 minutes. read more

After a very bad experience at Nissan service center, I brought my car into All Tire. ( I stay away from dealership service centers if I can help it). Everyone is friendly and helpful. Where as Nissan wanted to rip me off for $450, my car was fixed the same problem and did not charge me a dime. Rob explained what and why he did it. My boyfriends car was being a little funny right before we crossed over the Verrazzano so by the time we got off it we wanted to just stop and make sure things were okay so we stopped here at 930 this morning and they were able to fit us in. Like everyone else said they seem like really good people and we didn't feel like they were just trying to squeeze money out of us, plus they had a deal on Goodyear tires and we were able to replace our tires for $570, plus a rebate. It wasn't quite as quick as they'd initially said but we were happy to have it taken care of without an appointment! read more

Due to the to the genuine Kindness and understanding of the manager, Paul, this is now my go to place! I am really happy to have finally found someone who is real, understands customer service iand is definitely a gentleman! The technicians do amazing work! I had four tires installed and a wheel alignment. My car drives like a dream. Hugh is also a very nice man who does not get frazzled despite how busy they are. One tip that I did not know is you are much better off purchasing the ties directly from them! Although I am loyal to Goodyear I could've done much better shopping directly which I will do moving forward! While traveling my change oil soon light came on. So on a Sunday they opened at 0900 and had my truck on the racks at 906. They had me out of there in under an hour. A quick oil change and removal of a nail in the tire. The shop has an honest and had a good teamwork feel to it. From my view as a customer the shop was well run and the guy at the front desk Julian was honest and fair in dealing with the customers. He provided estimates and timelines for work. I've been coming here for the last 3 or 4 years, I've brought 2 of my own cars here, recommended friends, and have brought in my boyfriends car several times. My current car is brand new- it's under 20,000 miles and I've had it for 2 years. Two out of the three times I've needed an inspection on this car I've taken my car here, as well as for a few oil changes. This time and the last time within hours of bringing my car here my check engine light comes on.. i service my car regularly and i have only ever had my check engine light come on 2 times in this car... both times have been after visiting this business. I have had inspections done at another business and was charged significantly less (because my car is new) and it had taken a fraction of the time. They have never needed to lift my car, never asked for my wheel lock or any of that for an inspection. It was always a simple, quick, plug in the computer and go process. The other places never came back after inspection with a list of things they think i need for my car (which i went to Nissan and they said wasn't needed). Every time i am here for one thing the mechanic miraculously always finds something else that i "need to get done" or that i "should get done soon" but when i bring my car to Nissan (i have a plan with them, it's under warranty and it comes out much cheaper) these "issues" are non existent... it doesn't make sense. I forgave and forgot the first time and just thought the two were unrelated. I thought it was a strange coincidence but they're 2/2 on this issue and I'm no longer interested in doing business here. This is just shady and i can no longer trust the business. I called and asked to speak to the manager but was told he wasn't available, they asked if they can help me or what was wrong. I explained my situation and they told me to come back so they can check, frankly I'm not comfortable with that and don't feel like being nickeled and dimed anymore than i already have been. Stick to getting your car serviced by the dealer if you can. read more

Just called to see if I could bring my car in for a check engine light and who ever answered the phone asked a few questions and then quoted me for $150. I said "ok, sure. How long will it take?" And the guy responds "a few hours". I wanted to ask another question, but before I could say anything else, the guy hung up on me. I was very friendly over the phone and I didn't mind paying the $150 but after this RUDE interaction and complete disrespect for a customer that was WILLING to pay $150, I can clearly see these people don't care about their customers. My daughter when in for a basic flat nail in tire type on a her new car the person working looked at the tire and said it's not repairable and that she needed a new tire .. She send me a picture and I knew these guys were trying to take tire plus sell her a tire ..so I told her to go some where else in which she did for 10 $ they fixed the flat and didn't try to sell her a tire or tell her that the tire was not able to be fixed ..shame on you All tire & service .. hope u lose some people read these reviews read more

This is one of the few Staten Island tire repair places open on Sunday. Service was fast, I got my tired repaired in less than 10 min and he also filled all my tires back up with air. It cost $22 to get the tire repair for a bolt that got stuck. The man replacing my tire was friendly and showed us when you need to get your tires changed and noted we didn't need to get them changed yet. read more

All tire is an authorized Pirelli dealer. I have a warranty on my car, wheels and tires from the factory, dealer and an aftermarket. Although the tire wasn't covered under my standard warranty, it was covered under my aftermarket. The gentleman at the counter, ordered the tire, took my number and said he would call around 11 the next day when the tire came in. The next day my phone rang at 11, I brought the car and within an hour I was out of there. Great service from All Tire, no issues, and if I had to pay for the tire, they would have been reasonable in price Anyway. Go to All Tire, great staff, great service and I was very happy with them. I'm a former auto mechanic so I know this businesses from inside This place pretty much well organized and well maintained, stuff is helpful and knowledgeable. From my experience they won't give service that is not necessary just to get more money from you. The only minus is waiting time if you decide to stay here the time for basic oil change may vary from 1-1/2 hours. And last, you won't get your inspection done here even if your glass is tinted a little bit. read more

I brought my car to this place for a simple oil change, it took too long for them(4 hours) to get the car ready. A guy from the store called to let me know the car was ready, also he told me my car has a list of "recommended" work to do such: "left front axle losing grease, rear shoes are getting low and it needs to replace it, recommend brake flush, recommend up and lower hoses and brake flush" and the price to do that was $890. I said, I won't do because it's a lot money and I don't have at the moment, they offered to open a credit card with them to pay, I said NO.. I took my car to my regular mechanic to double check if what they said was correct or not. My mechanic found the "lef front axle" broken, it seems it was damaged in purpose with a knife, which is suspicious and it looks like it was damaged intentionally. After this bad experience, I won't come back to this place never again, this is not a place to trust. read more

I brought my 2021 mission rougue for a state inspection and the y told me I had a r front defective tire by the way just came home from a trip to South Carolina so they said it won't pass with out new tire so I had it done the very next day on the way to work I got a flat driving to work this place I think runs scams on people to make money on them so I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy I will be returnig today to get my tire fixed and have to listen to some more BS about my relatively new car read more

Stopped by a month ago to get metal valve caps removed (previous owner on my car put them on) and they were able to save 2 of the 3 TPMS stems. Also saw how they interacted with several customers (and also turn down a walk-in customer during closing who wanted something done ASAPs and was willing to pay on his $100k+ car, but the owner wouldn't do it because he wouldn't be able to guarantee that it would be a good job if rushed that quickly.) I'm so pissy and pissed off about this place!! I've been a long time customer..... I went in the other day knowing that I am due for my inspection by the end of December. I will be out of town then, so I planned ahead (for once...procrastination did not rule my world). In addition, my "check engine" light was on. I informed them of all of this, and when I dropped off my car, I said could you do an evaluation to see what I need to pass inspection? They called a few hours later to say that I needed: (insert never ending list of automotive repairs) and a price tag of $2,300. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? so, i feel like I am going to throw up. I get there to pick up my car (with my dad, need his advice and moral support), and not only did they run and FAIL me for my inspection (DUH! i didn't want them to inspect my car, with the engine light on, just tell me what i had to fix FOR the inspection) BUT wouldn't take off the $150 for they charged me for the eval, if I got the work done there! nor run a second inspection for me, if I got the work done there. Jerk offs. They used to be very customer friendly. They used to be a good shop. They have become so full of themselves, cocky, that they feel it is OK to rip me off like that! Total waste of nearly $200 and my whole day. GRRR. I brought it somewhere else the next day and paid a mere $625 for the work that was needed. might i say one last time, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? you just messed with a yelper! you are now scorned. read more

I go here for oil changes for my and my dad's car. The guys are always nice to me, they know I like work on my own car myself unless it involves chemicals, so they'll tell me if they find anything off and they'll give me a price, but they don't push the sale with me, which I REALLY appreciate. The mechanics seem pretty competent, and as I mentioned in my last review, the one time something accidentally broke, they ordered me a new one overnight. When Cody worked there it was fun to hang out and chat with him while waiting for my car, but he's not there anymore, so I bring a book or something! read more

I stopped by here on a Sunday morning after I noticed that one of my tires was flat the night before. I was in and out in a half hour, plus got $10 off of a $20 tire repair - turns out that there was a screw in my tire (what a nice birthday present!). They were very helpful, courteous, and quick - what more could you ask for from an auto repair center? I will definitely be back if I ever need anything else done with my Escape. I've been here on two occasions. The first time they gave me the best price on a Pirelli run flat tire on Staten Island by far! (I checked). The second time, they gave me a great price, and fast great service on a wheel alignment and tire rotation. They actually talked me out of buying a new tire because it wasn't necessary which tells you how honest they are. They're organized, clean, and have top diagnostic equipment in the shop. Women AVOID & beware of this place and do not be afraid to say no when they try to oversell you on other services your car will NOT need. I only went to this place because I needed an alignment and it is the only thing my mechanic does not do. They told me my front axels are in bad condition and that it's not safe to drive and at any minute I can get stuck on the road and it was metal on metal rubbing. They said they didn't recommend I get back on the road and should get it replaced. They said if I do it with the alignment it would cost me around $1,000 to fix. In addition they tried to tag on that one of my front brake calipers needed to be replaced and out of curiosity I asked what would that cost in addition, and the guy Rob says more than the price of the axels. The fact that his mechanic tried to push these items and said that the brake caliper is leaking grease and thought I could not distinguish what in fact was old dried up grease when I initially replaced the caliper is just laughable. Such a complete joke I had to chuckle being I knew for a fact I changed both of those in the last year with my mechanic and that it cost way less than that. My has always brought me under my car when it's on the lift to teach me all the parts of my car, how it operates and when and why I would need to change anything so I can see with my own eyes what it looked like and that is why I only trust him with my car. He takes care of my whole family, neighbors and friends cars and never nickels and dimes any of us, but always puts our safety first. If your mechanic does not show you the problem with your own eyes to witness do not pay or believe them. read more

I previously had a negative experience, however the owner was kind enough to reach out to me and rectify the situation. He contacted me and explained everything clearly. When I got my car back, I found a wheel stud & two lug nuts missing. As it turns out, the wheel stud and lug nuts were missing from my car beforehand. The owner admitted that I should've been informed of this before they started working on my car. I was also not too happy with the customer service, but the owner went out of his way to make it up to me. The owner truly cares about his business and customers. When I got my car back, as soon as I shifted from park to reverse my transmission clunked. Its been months, it still clunks all the time and is about to fail. I am aware my car is known for a sensitive transmission, and it's getting old, but my transmission was perfectly normal until this moment. It's a nice car so I don't know if they took it for a joy ride, or maybe shifted it into park while it was still moving or something. They were kind of rude so I have to wonder if this was intentionally malicious. If you want your car to be handled with care do not come here. read more
