Cracked a shock compliments of MD's shitty streets. Called the dealership for a cost estimate of the parts and labor. They quoted me $1200.00 and that didnt include the alignment that would be needed after replacing two front shocks. This spot was recommended by a friend and now I know why. They do excellent work here. From customer service to actual work performed. I walk in explain my issue and they put my truck on the lift to perform a free diagnosis. I was weary they would try to upcharge or sell me on some hidden mechanical work I wasn't aware of. Nope the complete opposite, mechanic runs in ask me to come into the stall and walks me around under my truck, visually showing me discrepancies, didn't try to sell me a damn thing. Told me he could fix the shocks but that they would need to order new covers (think dust and debris covers) for the shocks because my F-150 ones were cracked. He showed me the wear and tear of the current ones on my truck. He went in and told the owner of the shop who works the front desk. The owner got on the phone and called Ford for the genuine parts. They quoted him one price and I literally watched him negotiate a cheaper price, never asked me if I wanted him to. When he got off the phone he informed me that he could get two of them for $9 and that ford was delivering them the next morning. I paid for the cost of the parts, nothing extra. He apologized for not being able to get them in same day and offered to change the oil on my truck for free for the inconvenience. My turbo FX4 takes 6quarts of full synthetic, that's a $93 oil change!!!!! I came back the following morning and met the mailman delivering my parts. They were Ford Genuines all right. These guys performed the install perfectly and didn't miss a beat. Did the alignment as well. The owner explained to me that he pays his mechanics a fair salary and doesn't do the commission from work performed model. Because of this his guys work hard and take pride in their work. The shop makes money off of inventory of vehicles being repaired and as such there is no upsell of additional work necessary. The owner made the right decision in his business model and it shows. All of his mechanics are proud of their tradecraft and do excellent work. All are licensed and certified mechanics. read more

I am tremendously grateful for honest, reliable businesses like All Tune and Lube in Pasadena, MD. These dedicated, hard-working automobile specialists save me every time when my 2002 Honda Accord decides to stop working. Yesterday, my car died in the parking lot of Rereads bookstore. After my husband came with radiator fluid I was able to make it the few miles to home. Without even calling ahead of time I showed up at All Tune and Lube before 8:00 the next morning. Within minutes they diagnosed the issue (radiator leak), quoted a fair price, and said it would be ready by 4:00. I got a ride to work. It was ready by the time I picked it up. It sounds so much better and I travelled safely home 25 minutes away. It is worth it to drive a little further for excellent auto repair service. We would not go any other place than Ed Patrizio's All Tune and Lube. Did I mention they treat customers like they are family? My car was ready at 1:30. I received a very prompt call from Danny who let me know my car was ready. Even though I didn't get there until closer to 6:00 the light was still on and they were waiting for me to pick it up. Failed my emissions for 2010 Kia Sedona. My regular shop wanted $3K to replace the front and rear cats, so I ordered $184 front cat and Scott agreed to do the labor for $310 (with tax). Still failed retesting, so I ordered $215 rear cat and offered my regular shop to put it in. Last laugh is on me. My shop showed me Scott and All Tune stole my front cat and never installed it; old front cat is still on the Sedona. Avoid this place!!! read more

I agree with the bad reviews. After picking up my "repaired" vehicle and paying $2800. I didn't even make it home before it broke down again. They towed it back and took another 2 weeks to "fix" it again. All the while racking up rental fees for me. I've been going to this location for several years. I love Lee and his staff! Lee makes sure he gets me in and out the door within 20 minutes for an oil change, he doesn't overcharge me to do repairs, and even when he's on vacation, I never have to worry about being suckered or mistreated because his staff is loyal and sticks to the same mantra as Lee does. I'll never forget when I brought my first car to him, a Mazda Milenia, and it had so many issues - Lee gave me a free quote but instead of trying to talk me into getting the car fixed, he told me up front "I don't want to cheat you. You're better off buying a new car". What mechanic you know is going to turn down a sale for the sake of saving their customer money?! And I appreciate that when something is wrong with the car, the staff will bring you into the shop and show you exactly what the problem is and how it happened. Even when his staff makes a mistake on the car, he corrects it without charging me. I've since moved out of the state but whenever I'm back in town and I'm due for an oil change or have any other car trouble, I go to All Tune in Pasadena. I would never go here!!!!! They are scam artist and snakes! My wife took her truck here after we had to jump it. They told her it was the alternator and that it was going to be over $400 for parts and labor. When I get there I ask them couldn't it just be the battery and they said no we checked all that. So I tell them I want to take the truck to drop off some things in the trunk. They didn't want me to leave told me if I mess anything up the insurance wouldn't cover the quote they gave me and were mad that I was taking the truck. To make a long story short I took the truck to battery warehouse across the street and found out the only thing the truck needed was a battery. I went back to tune & lube and he said it would work for maybe a week at the most this was about 4 months ago and the truck is still running. SO DON'T GO TO THESE PEOPLE I WARN YOU !!!! read more

I used to go to this auto repair shop for all of my repairs. About 5 years ago they did a decent job for a fair price. Over the last two years each time I brought my vehicles in I would have to make a return trip and it would cost me another 2 - 3 hundred dollars to fix. After the 6th time I had to bring my car back because the issue was not properly fixed I stopped going there. The biggest problem with this shop is that they do not stand behind their repairs and not only does it cause an inconvenience but additional expenses. read more

I was having an issue with my 2010 GMC Tahoe. It was leaking oil or some sort of fluid and causing an issue with friends and neighbors when I parked at their houses. I took the car to my local dealer and they wanted to rebuild the engine for alot of $. I then decided to give All Tune and Lube a shot and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem. I had to come back to the shop for the same issue 3 times within a week. The initial part that was supposed to be "New", clearly it wasn't. Work with Ed because the other two behind the desk are not helpful! As soon as I mentioned Ed, one guy gave me Ed's work schedule over the phone instead of working with me. My 3rd time back I only needed a reading to see why my engine light was on again, I sat inside for 50 minutes just to check the reading while the two guys behind the desk chatted (TJ and the other guy). When another customer showed up, before she walked in the door the two guys said "Ooh great it's her again", one guy walked away and said you deal with her". One guy from behind the desk went outside to assist her while no one checked why my engine light was on and I sat inside for 50 minutes. This place is the best place around here that I have taken my car to. They are honest and fair with prices. We found them originally because my sister in law was in town and her car started acting up terribly. Tune & Lube was one of the only places open. They were able to take in her car, give an estimate and fix it all in a couple hours. Now I bring my car here because of the excellent experience she had. The parking lot is crowded and it's not the prettiest place ever but the service is great, as well as the prices so what more could you ask for? read more

(***I went to the location at 8201 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD.) These guys take pride in their work and are honest and fair. They believe in getting it right the first time and giving the best possible price. I went to them initially for a free diagnostic because I had some issues with acceleration. Turns out, I had a fuel leak but they couldn't readily identify the source of the leak. In order to find the source, they would have to drop the tank. I had a friend who had a Sears card who offered to pay for the repairs if I took it to Sears (went to the one in Silver Spring/White Oak). BIG mistake. They damn near tried to kill me, financially and literally (wanted to charge me $2500 for a "cracked tank" - wasn't cracked, btw -, and to basically replace my fuel system when I only had cracked hoses... dropped the tank, then barely put it back on... if someone had tossed a cigarette out of the window while I was driving, I might not be typing this review right now). Long story short, I went back to All Tune and Lube, and they quoted me a decent price, got me genuine Chevy parts, did the work and my car was ready in record time. These guys didn't take kindly to the Sears mechanic giving mechanics a bad name, either, and said they would report them to Sears corporate. They truly care, do good work, and are reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place. I spoke to Joe who quoted me a great price to replace my car's rear break pads and rotors. Given it was a Saturday I didn't think they could do it the same day, everyone else kept telling me I needed to make an appointment, but Joe said bring it in and he could get the job done within an hour. It was pretty close, about 1.5 hours, but definitely worth the extra wait given the great low price and friendly service. Overall, it cost me 40% less than the quote I received at my normal repair shop. If you're looking for a great deal, call this place. read more

This shop charged us $1300 to install a rebuilt Transmission which didn't work from the minute we drove the car home. Only the manager of the store would listen to our concerns and it took several months before they agreed and admitted that they needed to reinstall another Transmission. A few months later Transmission fluid began leaking and we can't even pass the emissions test because apparently this shop did not or forgot to install 2 important bolts which has now caused the fluid to leak. They are incompetent and aside from the management being polite (one star) I'm afraid that if you take your vehicle to them for repair you will be sorry if not sooner then later. read more
