Scam Company - Avoid American Appliance Repair!…read more We had a terrible experience with American Appliance Repair and strongly urge others to stay away. We called them to service a washer and dryer at our rental property. They charged $175 for a diagnostic, stating the fee would be applied to the repair if we proceeded. They also requested a credit card "just to keep on file" -- but then charged it without authorization. The technician diagnosed the washer as needing new suspension rods and said the dryer needed a new belt. We were charged $300 for the washer repair and $248 for the dryer. However, the washer continued to shake, and the dryer did not work too. We contacted the company again, and a different technician came out. This time, he said the washer's motor was the issue and asked us to pay again for parts and labor. He even taped the washer temporarily -- which, of course, didn't fix anything. They refused to take responsibility for the initial misdiagnosis and would not stand behind the work they claimed to have completed. We are now out over $700, and neither the washer nor dryer works. On top of that, they're still demanding more money. This company is clearly a scam. They misdiagnose issues, charge customers multiple times without solving the problem, and do not honor their work. Their actions are unprofessional, dishonest, and unethical. Avoid American Appliance Repair at all costs.

First call was when our fridge door wouldn't close, and they guy found it was just jamming on some stuff we had in the fridge. A little embarrassing that we didn't figure that out. Second time was just now, our gas stovetop igniter was clicking constantly. Ken was out within an hour of my call & said it's likely water from cleaning the stove is shorting it out & to see if it will dry out over the next few days. He did take the model number, etc., in case he needs to order the very expensive replacement part.

We have such terrible soil here in Mission Viejo, that I wanted something that I could use to amend it and improve my garden's appearance and the general health of my plants, without buying expensive chemicals that might harm my dog. When I found the Jora composter, I was intrigued. So many composters seem hard to use and look to be an eyesore and a pest magnet. I'm happy to report that the Jora composter solves those concerns and then some! I purchased the middle-sized Jora composter from Composting Warehouse. Niklas has been very helpful in explaining how to use the product to its maximum advantage. The composter is very sturdy, pest proof and efficient. Its is easy to turn, even with considerable material inside. It fits nicely next to our garbage bins, making it easy to place compostible material into the chamber as we dump the rest of the trash. As a new system, it took about a week for the process to get to the point of generating the heat needed to breakdown the material efficiently. Once it started though, it broke down the contents very quickly, permitting me to add more grass clippings into the chamber. The heat repels flies and eliminates odors that I heard other composting methods create. After several weeks, I still have room in the first chamber. I have a large yard that generates quite a bit of garden debris and I'm glad I got the larger unit. It has enough room to add all of our debris and I look forward to the abundant compost that I will have to enhance my garden! I don't think you can get a better composter at a better price than at the Composting Warehouse!
