I was referred to Allanson by my fleet company after reporting damage on a company car and filing a police report. When I arrived, I asked an employee to walk around the vehicle with me. Instead of doing so, he told me, "I know exactly what you're doing. I'm calling the fleet company--I work for them." I found this response surprising and unprofessional, so I left and reported the interaction to my fleet company. I went to a competitor who immediately reviewed the entire vehicle and is now handling the repairs respectfully and thoroughly. This is the perfect place to go if you want to be shamed for being autistic and then told it's your own fault that you lost a full day of work from an allergic asthmatic reaction to the air freshener they didn't ask you about before dousing the inside of your only vehicle in it, preventing you from using it for a week. Charles said I did it. That I spilled something. I don't keep liquids in my car. And I don't use anything than smells like the inside of a 50c Car Wash. I also don't know how I could have accessed my own car in their shop without my keys or keys to their building, and then doused the inside of it with a fragrance of my own possession- a fragrance which prevents me from being able to breathe. When I had my 1st accident in 2014, I looked on Yelp on where to get my car fixed. Of course, it had to be a body shop that the insurance considered a 'provider' and they were. If you came to Allanson's Auto Body, you would either meet John Gola (Manager) or Andy Donaldson (Assistant Manager). With the first accident, I met John Gola. He is helpful & informative. He explained the process to me & what to expect. In addition, they guarantee their work. Both John & Andy are the liaisons between the accidentee (that was me) & the insurance claims adjusters. Since you would need a car rental after you drop off your car, they will contact them for you & have them pick you up. Great customer service. Other claims adjusters are so impressed with the staff here--- they wish every other body shop employees are like John & Andy. That means something. Unfortunately, I had to come back to Allanson's two times more. In unfortunate circumstances but they walk you through it. They are opened 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). This business has been here for years -- since 1978. If you find yourself in an unpredicted, unplanned & unfortunate car accident that requires repairs, I hope you consider Allanson's. read more

My husband and I were referred here by a family member - and continue to recommend them to anyone we know in need of repairs and major body work. I recently backed into my husbands car in our own driveway (....I know, long story.) and allanson was happy to help us with the repair without taking a major blow to our wallet. Even before I went in, I called and had a much more pleasant talk with John. I stopped in for an estimate on my back bumper John helped me out with everything, and is just as nice as they come! He was friendly and didn't make me feel stupid when it comes to cars (though I pretty much am) and explained my options, even one that didn't include using their services at all. Which, unfortunately, is probably the route we're going to go with, strictly due to our car not being worth the repair just to get dinged the next day by someone who Won't leave their name and number. They even washed my dirty salt and snow-covered car, and took a look at another little issue that I mentioned was going on. It was overall just a really good experience, not intimidating or high-pressure like it tends to be in auto shops. I will definitely be going back if anything comes up with our car again. Repaired my camry, but job was not a quality job. New doors were aftermarket cheepies that don't close right now, paint job was odd, I paid for parts that were not replaced, they broke small clips and brackets and just stuck them back in the holes they came out. Car was one week late. Avoid Allanson. I'm not a fan. Professional in the middle, but craftsmanship and cheepie replacement parts dominate a less than stellar repair. Details. New doors on side of car are aftermarket and don't close right. Very heavy to push and wont close unless you really heave them. Not smooth at all. I had small damage on back bumper not included in repair. Instead of telling me how much it would take to fix the small paint blemish, they just sprayed more paint on top of the gauge. I cant explain how or why anyone would do that. 5 minutes of bondo and it would have been done right...now it looks like crap. Brackets in the trunk that hold the cargo net were broken off by Allanson when they took the car apart. the brakets have small tabs on them to hold them in place. Alanson broke the tabs off, and in stead of replacing the parts, they just stuck them back in the holes Which of course just fell right out when I went to put the cargo net on. On bottom of car where they took it apart, there are plastic clips that hold some of the undercarriage panels on. Allanson did not take the time to climb under the car and turn the clips to hold the panels on. Lazy. Lastly they charged me for new wheel covers...well of course I didn't get wheel covers...I just the same old one put back on with the original gouges on it. I used Allanson because they were close to home, neighborhood business. I will NEVER use Allanson again...and I recommend that everyone avoid them. I cant imagine how anyone would be happy with the service and final product from this place. Week Late, Odd paint job. charging for parts they didn't use. Not a fan. Skip them. read more

Got careless and brushed my car against my garage door. Mostly swapped some paint but it looked awful so I went to Allanson for a quote. They came right out to have a look and decided to get to work on it right on the spot. They did a little magic in the parking lot then had me pull inside. Worked on it a few more minutes and suddenly my screw up was fixed. Great work but then they said No Charge! You hear stories and read reviews about being taken for a ride at body shops but not here. Just offering to try to fix on the spot was above and beyond but the did it for free. They've earned my business for life! read more

John was extremely honest with me about my options and offered very clear advice about the best plan of action that would fit within my budget. I was so appreciative of his willingness to help come up with the best solution and his gracious offer to assist in whatever way his shop could even if the work fell outside of the scope of the business. I was rear ended in my 2015 Ford Explorer so I took it to Allanson for an estimate. Andy Donaldson (Assistant Manager) was very nice to work with and answered all my questions. Allanson's was the best estimate and the insurance company said they were on their preferred list of repair places.
