I've always enjoyed Allbirds. The comfort and moisture wicking feeling is great. The shoe profile is nice and modern and I love the color ways. I tried a variety of Allbirds and I'm really happy with the line expansion. I read an article about the company growing too fast. I like to continue to support this store and I'm really happy that it withstood the pandemic and had remained a village staple. Customer service is always solid and I feel Allbirds like Birkenstock and Dansko's really focus on the customers foot. read more

This is a fairly small store but it's your classic allbirds - very clean and minimalistic! They have all the shoes and socks displayed on the walls but their apparel is quite limited. I own a pair of allbirds (Piper) I absolutely love how comfortable they are for everyday wear. This time, I came wanting a new pair of allbirds but for running and I was very confused on which style is a good fit for me since now they have different fits. Shoutout to Spencer for helping me out as he described the differences and was very patient when he answered my questions. I went with one of his recommendations (Tree Flyer) and it's absolutely great for running and just walking too! I don't think I'll need to use the 30 day guarantee refund since it fit so well. This is going to be a first for me. A positive review on something I ended up returning. :) It's hard to imagine someone that hasn't heard of these shoes so I was among the curious until recently when I ordered a pair. Loving in Seattle comfy and water resistant sounded like the perfect set of attributes. At that point it comes down to color and size. Colors- that's a personal thing so after picking out some wool Mizzles comes the size selection. Uh oh. No wide sizes available. I followed their recommendations and fired away. Soon thereafter they showed up and I eagerly tried them on. On the plus side they were nice and cushy. Not quite ultraboost cushy but they would have been good and the water resistance would be the icing n the cake. Unfortunately they were a bit too narrow and the back of the heel was digging into my heel which was the dealbreaker. Why the positive review? True to their word the return process was fast and easy and they credited my card right away. Easy peasy. If they ever make a wide shoe I'll definitely give them a shot. read more

A good friend of mine & my husband has been bugging us about checking out Allbirds for the longggessttt time. We were catching happy hour in the U Village and unbeknownst to me, there was an Allbirds nearby... Which of course, we were dragged to. The store itself is really nice. Very minimalist, very subtle in it's approach. The employees aren't pushy and don't bug you every two seconds about trying something on. I wasn't even planning on really buying anything, but my friend grabbed me a couple of pairs to try on (for my husband as well). My husband was suckered in first. He normally wears Nike Frees and insisted that these were waaaay comfier. I tried mine on as well - he was right. Long story short we walked out with two pairs of shoes and $200 lighter. I've wanted allbirds since last summer and needed to try them out in person before committing. I called in advance to check to see if the style/size I wanted were available since I no longer liver in Seattle, and they store staff was more than willing to check. This store is on the side of the mall where the Pottery Barn is and around the corner from the Aritzia/Victoria's Secret. I came in on a Friday night and it wasn't too crowded. I felt like I got just the right amount of attention from the store staff and they were so friendly. I was greeted when I walked in, and they helped me get the shoes I wanted and checked on me after I walked through the store a bit. Their check out process is speedy, and I could tell the staff wanted to make sure I had a good experience. They also have free stickers, pins and Seattle store specific shoe laces that you can get with your purchase which was a pleasant surprise. My first pair of Allbirds (tree runners) were given to me as a gift. They were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Since then I've been an Allbirds fan. This past holiday I got a different pair of Allbirds as a gift but the shoe didn't quite fit as well. A couple of fam members and I decided to make the drive up to the U-Village store so I could do an exchange. We got there about an hour after opening and upon walking in it looked like a disaster zone. Shoes and boxes everywhere. It was after Christmas and the New Year so I'm sure a lot of people were there to do purchases, returns, and exchanges. They were slammed. I used to work in retail so I had a lot of empathy for them. I walked up to the register and let the employee know I wanted to do an exchange and he was so friendly and helpful. He held my box at the register and I wandered over to the display of shoes. Another employee came up to me and asked if I needed any help. Super friendly guy. Since I had picked a couple styles he brought me my sizes. I tried them on and found a pair that I loved. The exchange transaction was so easy I left the store happy. Kudos to the guys working that day. You don't get the same customer service online so I appreciate their kind demeanor and willingness to help. read more

I recently tried a pair of Alllbirds after many friends have told me about the shoes and I had to try on a pair. I visited the store at the University Village and everything was good except for attempting to find a parking spot somewhat near the store but eventually the parking gods took pity on me and gave me a spot. The customer service here is fantastic and ever so friendly. The shoe selection is very good and they cover a multitude of activities. I selected a pair of high top Mizzles which and a water resistant barrier of the top and it has a wool outer which completely wraps around your foot and I can only call it "cozy". I also have a pair of Tree Dashers which are more of a running shoe that is great for warm weather. The shoes are made with self sustaining materials which also means that I replace my insoles every six months or so. The bright side is that the insoles are inexpensive but I still have to replace them. The outer shells and mid soles are very durable and are washable. I would recommend to buy a pair and enjoy pure comfort. read more

Really comfortable shoes. I'd prefer more styles but I get that this is a minimalist thing they have going. The store is clean and the vibe is eco friendly and practical. Got some flats that are a dirty- chartreuse color that will oddly match with everything. I'm going to wear them as slippers around the house. Backstory is that I ordered the slip-on version in maroon a year ago that I wore once and I didn't really want to put them on again- too casual for me. I brought them to this UVill store as a whim and they took them back no problems! Excellent friendly customer service here. I like a store where the employees seem to really like each other as they're working together. Shoutout to Dan P for his upbeat and positive vibe, this store is lucky to have this energetic young man represent them. I rated four out of five for personal choice, I don't get they only sell shoes. Why not some socks and accessories too? My Allbirds shopping experience during this pandemic has felt very safe and I am also very pleased with my purchase! You can book an appointment online or you can go in if they aren't at their capacity. I went right at opening and did not have to wait to go in. They have hand sanitizer at the front entrance and all staff wear face coverings. The associate who helped me was very informative and patient as he helped me find the shoe that fit my needs. I ended up getting the Tree Dashers - they are so pretty and I love the fit and comfort for my home workouts! This is going to be a review for the store itself (U Village, Seattle) since there are probably plenty of product reviews out there. I'm not sure I'd have much to add there, but yes, Allbirds are an easy recommendation. I visited the store at probably the busiest time imaginable, a Saturday afternoon an hour before the Huskies played. The store was packed, but not overwhelmingly so. To this I would credit the number of staff they had working. While there were plenty of customers to attend to, I never felt like I needed to compete for a sales rep's attention. They were readily available and happy to answer any questions. Speaking of friendly staff, I got the impression that everyone in there, or at least the ones I spoke to, genuinely enjoyed their jobs. This is cool to see because it translates to genuine interest in the customer. With autumn coming up at the time of writing, the question I kept asking was if the wool or tree would be the best style. The employees happily responded with their pros/cons to each style mixed with their opinions and personal experiences. They encourage trying on shoes, are lightning quick on bringing them out from the back for you, and show zero signs of being upset when you tell them the wrong shoe size. 10/10 for the staff. Great job! If you can't find the time to make it in to the store, I'm not going to pretend that buying online isn't also good. Buying from their website is definitely a good thing. But if you do find yourself wandering in, you'll get the option to snag some free, Seattle-exclusive shoelaces. That was pretty fun, and walking out of the store with the shoelaces as the handle to the box was great, too! The employees also gave out free pins. The overall vibe of the store was about what I had expected. I was neither overly impressed or unimpressed. However, the experience with the people in there is too good to ignore. Finally, they open! I am from the city where the allbirds flagship is from and sizes are always out there and have been living in Seattle temporarily waiting for this location to open. It's conveniently located at the U-Village shopping center and less than a mile from my neighborhood. Although, I didn't end up getting anything, at least I know I won't have to wait as long to try shoes on and I can stock up again at the end of summer with the new styles. I highly recommend trying on the new ballet flats which are currently out of stock but should be back in a couple of weeks! All the shoes are really comfortable though and remember, their meant to be worn without socks!! read more

When my family member went to exchange the shoes, the salesgirl returned them by mistake. Instead of doing an even exchange, the return went back to my credit card, which was the original payment.
