This place was a gem! The line was insane when we showed up on a Friday night, they started by letting us order drinks in line on a HOT night- clutch. By the time we got in the service was so nice and helpful with recommendations. We didn't have to wait long for a table to clear up. Space is beautiful and fun, loved the mail boxes. We ordered the pep & pepp slice, a vodka baby, and a couple sweet sausage slices. All phenomenal- the sesame crust on the vodka baby was stellar. 5 stars all around for this spot. Been meaning to make it out here for a while and finally got around to it and so glad that I did. The use of natural lighting and greatly selected music in the space is something I loved immediately when walking in, and provides a real Austin vibe that keeps you at ease and ready for some great food. My sweet sausage slice was amazing as was the pickle pizza; basically like biting into the a perfectly crafted fried pickle every time. The atmosphere is just something I can't get my mind off of though. It's a similar feeling to being at Barton Springs where even strangers parked up at the bar seem extra friendly and you just want to be socialble even if you weren't in that headspace before walking through the door. This was another recommended spot and it did not disappoint! We went on a Friday and waited about 20-30 minutes but the staff were so friendly. We ordered four slices: Spicy Margh, Pickle, Industry Plant, and Vodka Baby and each one had such unique flavors. We were debating between the Spicy Margh and Stracciatella and went with the Spicy Margh. Out of the four it ended up being my least favorite since it didn't quite feel like a classic margherita and was also a little too salty. I would recommend trying the Stracciatella slice instead. The Industry Plant ended up being my favorite with its surprising but perfect flavor combination and the Pickle slice was also delicious. It is easy to see why it went viral. The staff were wonderful and at one point the owner came by to ask how our pizza was and share the inspiration behind opening the restaurant. I came with my friend from UT but luckily the bus stop is right across the street from all day. We came at like 3:30 on a Tuesday so there was no line and seating inside when we got there. I enjoyed the pizza. I got the famous pickle pizza slice and a slice of the sweet sausage. I liked both of them. The crust on like the pie part is nice and crispy so it keeps its shape well. The actual crust part was a slightly charred which I did not like. I like both slices overall and felt like they were definitely unique and worth trying. I liked the place overall but I don't understand how people wait in long lines for this. It's good but I don't think I'd wait in a super long line for this. I have heard EVERYONE rave about how amazing the pickle pizza is here, so I had to come try it. It was very busy, the line trickled outside but they were able to get everyone seated. It is like a service restaurant where they seat you and you are assigned a server, so that was very nice. Very good service and food came out fast! I tried a couple different slices and to preface, they were all amazing! The pizza itself was thin and slightly crisp with very good structural integrity. It had minimal flop and still had a good chew. Not to mention, the slices are HUGE. Pickle Pizza - Very good, refreshing, a bit sour acidic tart from the pickle, cheesy and creamy base. The ranch it comes with is delicious Pepp and Pep - Slightly sweet from a drizzle of honey, a bit of a jalapenoesque spice from the peppers which added a nice tang, meaty salty pepperoni. Sweet Sausage - My FAVORITE slice of the night! More honey pools so it was sweeter than the Pepp and Pepp which I loved. The sausages added a bit of a meaty, savory, italian spice, and the onions gave it a slight vegetal crunch and sweetness. Industry Plant - I personally would not get this one again. Not because it's bad, but because the others were just so much better. This has a lot of vegetables. Tiramisu - It was a solid tiramisu, but not needed I think. Tried Allday Pizza for the first time today & it was not quite what I expected. The line was out the building, it was 97 degrees so it was very hot but I expected there would be a line. After ~20 minutes of waiting outside in line we finally make it inside. When we got inside I noticed that the reason the line was so long and moving so slowly was because the cashier was having 10 minute long conversations certain guest. I am all for great customer service, but when you have a line out the building where people are waiting in the heat to get their food, a little urgency would be appreciated. She wasn't doing this with every guest, so I'm not sure if it's because she knew them personally or what but there were a few people in front of us that took no less than 10 minutes to order, holding the line up significantly, but then other guest she simply took their order and moved on. When we got up to order, she didn't even acknowledge that we were standing there for ~3 minutes until we spoke up. Overall the food was good, it was not the best I've ever had and the service was not good, so I don't think that this will be a place I will recommend or return to. read more

We were happy with the pizza, soft serve, and the friendly service! Came in at 2pm on a Saturday, no line and 4-5 tables were open so we had no issues with seating. The three of us split six slices, got to try a variety since they let us cut the slices in half! I'm a classic pizza lover, so the pepperoni & pepperocini was my favorite. However the sweet sausage was a close runner up! The green pizza was interesting, I enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone on that. I usually dip my pizza or crusts in ranch, but I found myself preferring it without which is rare for me haha. The soft serve was a large serving, maybe half sizes would be cool because the pizza will fill you up! I would have loved to try the Caesar salad but it's pretty pricy for a salad without protein so couldn't justify that. Maybe another time! We found our best fav Austin pizza spot. 9/10. They have a few spots but we visited their newest spot in Hyde Park. The location is amazing and feels like a modern pizza spot but with hints to a classic pizza shop. Music is a mix but very enjoyable blend. We ordered the sampler so we got 5 different slices, an amazing Caesar salad and at the end the twist soft serve. All slices were very good. Cheese - 10/10 - they nailed the classic NYC cheese Spicy Marg - 9/10 - a sauce soaked with Calabrian chili - very good but I wish it were a tad spicer Pep & Pepp - TBD by wife Industry plant - 9/10 - a verde sauce with a dusting of pistacho Vodka - TBD by wife The soft serve was delicious with a lot of customizable toppings. The 4-star review below is nonsensical. The 3-star review below also feels unfair. Any pizza restaurant you walk into with a party of 7, or *any* restaurant in Austin for that matter, will have a wildly long wait if it is any good for a party that size. All Day is an in-and-out spot that does not manage table flow for you at the door. You need to claim a table yourself. If you have a party of greater than 4, just order takeout. I also live in Hyde Park like that reviewer, right down the street as well, and there is nothing wrong or mis-managed about the flow of customers at All Day. It's just often quite busy because it is exceptionally good. I have eaten nearly every piece of pizza in Austin, and this is #1 or #2. You can make arguments about it being in the top 3 or 4 as well. The Caesar salad is the best one in town, and I'll defend that any day of the week. The sandwich (they make only one kind) is WORLD CLASS as well. And I say that as a former NYC sandwich snob. It is tremendous. Will you wait in line? Yes. Should you get takeout with a larger party of 6+? Probably. But this is basically Home Slice on steroids taste- and execution-wise, without the hour and change wait (love Home Slice, and the wait there is what it is because it's an Austin staple, but I think All Day beats it head-to-head). In a year All Day will be continually overrun by Instagramers, TikTokers, and other documenters of the Austin food scene, and they will have earned it. Gave this location another try after a slightly disappointing first time and everything was much better! 1, there's now a big parking lot across the street which is huge plus. 2. I went early on a Sunday, abt 5:30pm and I think going early is the key. Soon after we sat down, the line was longggg. My pizza, Vodka Baby, was delicious and the ranch and hot honey were amazing additions (I wish they weren't so expensive though, should be $0.50-0.75, not $1.00). I didnt feel as rushed by the staff and other patrons as last time and honestly this doesn't feel like the place to sit for a while, eat and then leave lol. I'm honestly shocked this wasn't already at 5 stars. Ever since they've opened this Hyde Park location I've become addicted to their pizza. Especially the Vodka Baby. It's dangerously on my bike commute home and I just haven't been able to help myself! Simply put, I think it's the best pizza in town right now, and it's got a cool and modern ambiance to boot. It's a really nice place to go when you feel like going somewhere classy but not breaking the bank. For the record, I'm a fan of the casual seating scenario. Yes its a bit of a gamble, but I think it keep the ambiance relaxed and casual, which is the type of restaurant we need more of, not less. This was by far the best pizza I've ever had. The cheese pizza is a classic you can't go wrong with. I'm not a fan of onions but my boyfriend said the sweet sausage pizza was delicious. I loved the industry plant but did take off quite a bit of the arugula. The spicy margh was the only one we didn't finish and I think the spiciness threw us off a little but overall our experience was a 10/10. Hmmm, very suspicious 5-star review below. Always interesting when someone doesn't post on Yelp for two years and then feels a sudden need to provide a full-throated, pound-the-table endorsement in response to other folks' posts! It's almost like...that person has a personal or financial stake in the success of the business or something. Also, absolutely *love* the advice that large parties should basically get their pizza and get the hell out. No seating for you! Anyway, this was Day 2 of our Allday doubleheader last week, and--thank goodness, lest we offend the restaurant gods with our party size--we were four people who managed to get a table in a reasonable amount of time after awkwardly perching at the sushi counter like hawks waiting for a booth to open. We do have to say that there seemed to be more vigilance about managing the flow and someone immediately came to clear and wipe. It is to be noted, though, that this was more about the 5:00 pm timeframe, so it was definitely slower than the last time we were here. We still have nothing but great things to say about the food and drinks. We got the caesar salad again, but this time we also got the chicken cutlet and it was fabulous! Love that they have the know-how to serve it with a lemon wedge, and appreciate the heap of arugula that it came with. We did a sampler pie, and as we said in our previous review from the day before, we loved every slice, especially the spicy one! The only bummer was that their pistachio soft serve was down, so poor us, we had to get their creamalicious vanilla with fudge and sprinkles, the majority of which our daughter inhaled. We appreciate that you can order a second round of drinks from folks on the floor, and everyone who works there is really nice. We do think that we might have encountered another obstacle with the seating had it been busier, and that they need to come up with a better plan for overflow. If *someone* is reading this, then one idea would be trying to partner with Bureau de Poste somehow because the patio is rarely full. Or (not sure what permitting issues are with the tables), but those small Fermob patio tables could easily fit along the northern wall and then folks could queue up on the western one.
