Note: this is specifically about the gelato. Maybe it's the day, and the batch of the day. Tonight was one of those nights when soft serve was on the mind, and driving out of your way for some is exactly what the doctor ordered. All day is, historically, one of those spots that's not only worth the drive, but also worth the $8 for a cup of soft serve gelato. Although, something's changed. Or at least we're wondering if the recipe has changed. This particular experience seemed to have lost its creaminess, and replaced with more water or ice crystals. Certainly not what we were looking for, even after the past experiences leaving such a great impression. Unfortunately, not feeling the most confident about making this the choice for soft-serve this evening.
First time visiting, we ended up leaving due to the long line. Came back again to give it another shot, waited for about little over an hour. Service was great, everyone was very friendly. Pizza was delicious however, I personally would not wait that long again for it. Their banana pudding soft serve was actually my favorite!
There's a pretty constant line out the door here (when I went it was 20-25 min wait which wasn't bad) and if you want to order online it takes an hour and spots can fill up fast. While in line, a server came by to ask if anyone wanted any drinks while waiting and there was water in the front which was nice. The inside has quite a few seats but is a bit loud since there are so many people. We ordered the mango lassi, some slices (stracciatella, cheese, pickle, and tomato tomatoe), and the cold brew affogato. The mango lassi and cold brew affogato were really good and refreshing. The stracciatella and pickle slice, especially with the provided ranch, were really good as well. The cheese and tomato tomatoe slice were decent, but they were also plain so it's understandable. I would go again but would probably order online or get an entire pie since the wait is decently long. We also wanted to try the spicy margh as a slice but they had a sign saying it was only available as a whole pie.
Can confirm: Allday Pizza is worth the hype (and the line). I'll be honest... I was super skeptical and went in thinking that it would be "just another hyped up pizza place" but dang, is it good! NOTES: - Parking... there's a small lot outside of the building but also a lot across the street (it might still be hard to secure a spot when it's really busy) THE HIGHS: - The crust is incredible... perfect NY style that is crispy on the bottom but still allows you to fold the slice without any flop - Every slice has unique flavors that differentiate them while still remaining fairly classic... they offer new flavors from time to time so there's reason to come back and try the new offerings - Seeded roll for the sandwiches is housemade and delicious... the bread has great structure but is still soft enough to compress when you take a bite - Workers were all friendly and provided great service - Food came out quickly after ordering THE LOWS: - You're going to wait in line.. I had read that the line moved quickly but I didn't really feel like that was the case. I arrived around 6:45 pm on a Saturday night and the line was out to the street. I waited a little over an hour to get to the counter to place an order. THE PRICE: The total was $64.85 after tax ($4.85) but before tip for a - Vodka chicken parm sandwich ($17) - 2 pickle slices ($6.50 each) - 2 pep & pepp slices ($6 each) - 1 sweet sausage slice ($6) - 1 stracciatella slice ($6) - Chocolate chip cookie ($5) - Side of calabrian hot honey ($1) It's obviously on the pricier side for pizza but I had zero regrets for what I paid because every bite was delicious. BEST BITES: - Sweet sausage slice... no notes! It has a perfect balance of savory and sweet. - Pep & pepp slice... the acidity from the pepperoncini is fantastic, - Chocolate chip cookie... I did a taste test with this cookie and 9 others from around Austin and this one came out on top. Order it and thank me later! THE VERDICT: 100% worth the wait to try it at least once... order a lot so you can try all the different flavors and offerings. If you don't want to wait in the line, it probably won't be a place you frequent but it's good for special occasions.
A friend of mine highly recommended Allday Pizza in Hyde Park, raving about its authentic New York-style pizza. She did warn me there might be a bit of a wait, but "a bit" turned out to be 40 minutes. Judging by the steady stream of customers, Allday has quickly become one of Austin's hottest pizza destinations. The funny part? No one in line seemed bothered. Everyone appeared perfectly content waiting their turn, which says a lot about the reputation this place has built. Housed inside the beautifully renovated former Hyde Park post office on Speedway, Allday Pizza blends historic charm with a bright, modern aesthetic. The dining room is warm and welcoming, featuring oversized windows that emit tons of natural light, colorful accents, comfortable booths, and an upbeat neighborhood vibe. The restaurant offers both whole pies and pizza by the slice...a huge plus if you're visiting for the first time like me or just craving a quick bite. The crust delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a New York-style pizza: thin, crisp around the edges, yet pleasantly chewy with just the right amount of fold. After standing in line for nearly 40 minutes, I briefly considered ordering an entire Sweet Sausage pie. Since it was my first visit, I decided to play it safe and ordered two slices instead...one for me and one for the hubs. One surprise? The Sweet Sausage slice also included pepperoni, something I wasn't expecting. Thankfully, it worked well with the savory sausage and added another layer of flavor. The pizza itself was delicious, with quality ingredients and a satisfying balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Now for the million-dollar question: Was it worth waiting 40 minutes? The jury is still out. The pizza was undeniably good, but whether I'd stand in that line again depends on just how strong my pizza craving is that day. In addition, the Hyde Park location also serves sandwiches, desserts, beer, wine, and cocktails. Also, free parking is available in a private parking lot as well as street parking.
Allday Pizza has fun unique pizza flavors, but be prepared to wait. No matter the day or time, you can pretty much expect a 20-30 minute line, minimum. In the Texas summer heat, that's rough. Thankfully, they have water dispensers outside to help keep customers cool. We tried the Stracciatella, Pep & Pepp, Sweet Sausage, Butter Chicken, and Pickle pizzas, plus the frozen mango lassi. The mango lassi was exactly what I needed on a hot day--refreshing, topped with fennel candy, and balanced by aromatic Indian spices. My only complaint is that I wish the cup were bigger! The creative flavor combinations are what make Allday stand out. As a pickle lover, I was excited for the Pickle Pizza, but my favorite was the Sweet Sausage thanks to the delicious Calabrian honey drizzle. The Butter Chicken was another standout. The Pep & Pepp was skippable in my opinion, and I wish the Stracciatella came with more burrata. The interior is cute and casual and makes for a fun sit-down meal if you're willing to wait. Overall, Allday is worth visiting for the creative flavors--just plan to wait.
I really just wanted to sit read my book with a chilled glass of wine and slice of pizza so Allday it was. I had trouble deciding which slice I wanted so I got both. I thought the Stracciatella was going to be my favorite but the very simple Tomato Tomatoe was my favorite and I'll return soon for that lemon pepper panko. Both were thin crust with the crispy edges I love and they were generous slices. I sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and some of the best pizza I've had in a while. Service was quick and attentive.
Great pizza overall. I would say this is definitely the best in Austin. They have many different unique pizzas, and the crust is thin & crispy. They do have long lines, so would come on a weekday.
Allday pizza is seriously one of my favorite places in Austin, and is always my go to for bringing out of towners. It has a cute diner feel and is right next to bookstore! The pizza is phenomenal, I love a thin crust and the flavors are so fun. My favorite is the sweet sausage and I recently tried the pep & pepp, also a good meat option! We recently popped in for the key lime pie sundae which is every bit as delicious as it sounds. The service is always great here and we love it!
My favorite pizza in Austin. Get the pickle slice and drizzle hot honey on it and dip it in ranch, you won't regret it I swear. Service is fast and friendly even though it's always slammed Could do with warmer lighting and more seating but the pizza is so good it doesn't matter.
10/10. You'll never find a better place that sells pizza so good that you'll want it everyday. I've tried nearly every pizza and sandwich and I have zero complaints, only compliments for each one. Everything is cooked perfectly. It's a small neighborhood joint so seating is limited and there will be a line out the door. Good news is that only seat you once a spot opens up and the line moves quickly. Overall, absolutely superb!

Fun and trendy pizza spot where you can order by the slice, the half pie, or the full pie. My husband and came for lunch. We waited in line for about 20 minutes before ordering at the counter and being seated. My husband ordered a slice of pickle pizza and a slice of pepperoni. I got the "pep and pep," the Ceasar salad and the chocolate chip cookie. The salad was a huge sharable portion. The pizza is thin crust, my favorite. I really enjoyed the salad and loved the cookie. The seating is not super comfy. The benches ate plywood...no padding, and the chairs are really low compared to the table. Super friendly staff. The service was really fast.

One of my favorite new restaurant discoveries from one of my homies was the new Hyde Park location of Allday Pizza. When my girlfriend came into town this past weekend, I knew I had to take her. Most of my thoughts are in my previous review, but I wanted to add a few extra notes here. There will always be a line. We arrived around 1:20 pm and didn't order until about 2 pm. Even after we left, there was still a line. It gets worse during prime hours, but a line is always prevalent during the weekends at Allday Pizza. This time, from the recommendation of my cousin, we ordered their Caesar Salad, and I truly think it is the best Caesar I've ever had. I've had some amazing Caesars at some top-notch restaurants, some even made tableside, and this stands toe-to-toe with them and might even surpass all of them. Fourteen dollars is a steal for the size, and it's easily shareable for a group of four or less. I would honestly eat the whole thing myself--that's how good it is. I ordered the stracciatella and pep & pepp again (my full thoughts are in the previous review), and it is still top-notch. I tried a bite of both the Pickle Pizza and the Industry Plant via my girlfriend, and I enjoyed them, but I am very proud of the pizzas I picked. I recommend giving this place a chance. Waiting in line is just part of the experience, and you know what? It's kind of New York of them. Pick up a book at First Light next door and be performative while you wait. Fall in love. I saw their pickle pizza on their Instagram and wanted to give it a try. This place is fairly close to UT, but not close enough to walk there I think. There is also parking around the place but it was pretty full when I visited tonight on a weekday. There was a line when we got there around 6:15pm and decided to do a to go order. I noticed that there was a sign inside that said that they take orders based on availability of seating so keep that in mind if you are planning to dine in. The inside of the restaurant is cute and casual. It gives a chill vibe but also was busy. As for the food, my sister and I ordered a slice of the pickle pizza, pepperoni, and spicy margh. The pickle pizza comes with a side of ranch so we also ordered a side of hot honey (+$1) and chili oil (+$1). It was a little pricey for those extra sauces and I'm not sure if I would pay that much again for them. The pickle pizza looks beautifully decorated with pickle slices and I enjoyed that there was pickle on every bite. It went great with the ranch and I would definitely get it again next time. The pepperoni slice and the spicy margh were also pretty good but the pickle pizza is my favorite from the three. The spicy margh was more on the spicier side if you are looking for more of a kick. Same goes for the chili oil, it was a lot spicier than I thought it would be but it was good with the ranch and hot honey. Overall, I enjoyed the pizza here. Our group of seven visited Allday Pizza in Hyde Park on a Sunday afternoon. There was very limited parking available in this area, so if you can carpool that would be more ideal. There was a line out the door of Allday Pizza, which we didn't expect. Luckily, it moved relatively quickly. You must order at the counter first if you want to sit and dine in. There are a few umbrellas outside the doors to provide shade for customers who are waiting. No dogs are allowed inside unless they are service dogs. My boyfriend and I ordered a Caesar Salad, four slices of pizza, and the Cold Brew Affogato. The four slices of pizza we ordered were: Sweet Sausage, Pepperoni, Spicy Margh, and Vodka Baby. Everything was delicious and came out a lot faster than expected. My favorite slices were the Sweet Sausage and Vodka Baby. I loved that the slices are big and thin. They are on the crispier side. The Cold Brew Affogato was more so soft serve ice cream than a float. I thought there would be more cold brew with it. Our total was around $50 (before tip) for the four slices of pizza, Caesar Salad, and Cold Brew Affogato. Definitely on the pricer side. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Great service all around with everyone we interacted with. The space is on the smaller side, so I wouldn't bring large groups to dine in. Seven of us fit in their biggest booth in the corner, but it was pushing it. read more

Possibly one of the most popular, most liked pizza place in Austin. They have two locations, both always busy. When I finally had the chance to try this place I was super stoked and I ordered a whole pizza with multiple different toppings. My favorite is the pickle one - it's so unique and delicious! The best pizza in Austin!! You do have to wait a long time if you're coming during a popular time. We got to the front of the line and ordered after 45 minutes of waiting. The wait was worth it though!! They were super accommodating with our large party size. The food also came out very fast and they gave us the receipt for the soft serve so we could have it after we were done eating for dessert. The restaurant is super busy and there's a lack of seating but it's cute. The vibe is very modern and chic. A lot of people were there on a casual date, with friends, or families. There's also a cute bookstore called First Light next door so if you wanted to past time. I personally tried the pep and pepp, pickle pizza slices, caesar salad, and soft serve. They were all so good!! I've had a lot of New York pizza and this is better than some of them!! It's also more unique and better than Home Slice in my opinion which used to be my favorite. I just loved the ranch with the pickle pizza it tied it in nicely!! The caesar salad was the best caesar salad I've had ever!!! It was super crunchy and light. The soft serve was typical soft serve and the birthday cake topping was perfect with it. Overall, everyone really enjoyed it and we would go again. read more
Food was great but be prepared for a long line if you come at dinnertime. The inside of the restaurant is super cute and cozy but I wish there was more space since that's the reason the line moves so slowly. For the food, we got the vodka baby, spicy margh, industry plant, and stracciatella slices and they were all quite good - really depends on your preferences. Personal favorites were the vodka baby and stracciatella. I highly recommend getting the Calabrian honey - it pairs great with the spicy margh slice and is also just great for eating the crusts. read more

Allday Pizza makes great pizza that's a half step short of excellent. Their fault isn't the taste, it's the execution, but that doesn't mean it loses a star. Hear me out. First off, don't be intimidated by the line. There were probably 20 people in front of my date and I and we were ordering within 30 min having arrived at 615 pm on a Saturday. It moves fast. We were eating within 10 min of ordering. We got five unique slices of pizza, which means we nearly sampled the menu. Each slice is 1/6 of a pizza so ordering 6 slices is like getting a full pie. Here's the thing, they perfectly cook their pizzas. The crusts are perfect, the char is perfect, the burnt tips of toppings are perfect. It's the best cooked pizza I've had in Austin. The issue is a combination of the pre made builds and thoughtfulness of what's on them. The spicy margarita slice should have more than one blob of cheese and a couple of basil slices. And work on that spice depth - figure out a better arabbiata, or let me know and I'll teach. The pep and pepp shouldn't have mountains of pepoerocini in some places and none in others. The arugula one is basically a salad. The best slice is the vodka sauce slice, but it's desperately missing a savory component which you need to add on. It's so frustrating because everything here taste great, but knowing it could easily achieve excellence with a few basic touches is hard. At a minimum this is in the conversation for best pizza in Austin. At worst it's a disappointment because any thought into the food should lead a perceptive eater to finding clear gaps in it. Okay hear me out... one of the best Cesar salads we've ever had before. We got the pep &pepp , sweet sausage, and spicy margh. The spicy margh actually has a little kick which was nice. I've been several times and everything is delicious and consistent. Don't forget the CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE!!! Order at the register and they will seat you once your order is placed. Don't try and get a table first- big no no. Parking is rough. It shares a small parking lot with neighboring businesses. Parking lot is a one way in and one way out. So if you get lucky on your first pass thru the parking lot then you definitely need to get a cookie. Street parking is available with a short walk. read more
Food: we ordered the pickle pie slice, pep & pepp slice, and a whole vodka baby pizza and added sausage! Every slice was delicious in its own way. Thr pickle pizza tased like a fried pickle so perfect if you're a pickle lover. My pep and pepp was just a better pepperoni pizza! I LOVED how the peppers were finely chopped! And the vodka pasta had a delicious creamy sauce and the sausages were small but still tasty! Service: We did take into consideration that this is a popular spot. However, the line was long but it was moving pretty quickly! Everyone was working to make sure tables were cleaned and people were being taken care of! Overall super friendly and hardworking service and staff Ambiance: the ambiance wasn't anything crazy. The pizza made up for any lack of ambiance! It was super clean and bright inside! So good we went twice in one day...seriously don't be discouraged by the line. It is SO worth it. Every pizza slice we got was delicious. The service is good and the wait really isn't that bad. The place is on the smaller side, so you will have to wait if you want to dine in. This is for sure on our "go to" lists when we're in Austin. read more

I love this crust. Not charred at all which is my preference, but still super crispy and doughy at the same time? Pickle pizza over spicy margh, both were on the salty end but the spicy margh was EXTREMELY spicy wow was not expecting that Next time would want to try the vodka chicken parm sandwich or another type of pizza, or both Service was fast and satisfying, and thee ambiance was also nice. Very clean, but got busy after 5:45pm on a Tuesday. read more
Allday Pizza is 1000% worth the hype and absolutely worth the wait. A good thing to know ahead of time about Allday is that you have to order before you sit, and you do not choose your own seating. A staff member takes you to your table, and they will not sit you unless a table is available. There is a decent amount of seating, but not a ton, so be prepared to wait if you are going during peak hours. The pizza was delicious. If you like vodka pasta, I would definitely give the vodka pizza a try. My favorite was the sausage pizza with honey drizzle - fantastic. The pickle pizza was interesting! Certainly not bad, but I wouldn't get it again. If you love pickles, it's definitely worth the try. The soft serve is high quality. It's $8-10, but it's a lot of soft serve and it comes with two toppings! I really enjoyed the vanilla soft serve, cookie crumble, and caramel syrup. I CAN'T WAIT to go back to Allday! read more

If you're dining in, that line in my picture, took an hour from when we got there to when we sat to eat. But with that said, it was worth the wait. This is not a big place so seating is limited. I noticed people ordering to go and the turn around wasn't long at all. We were pretty pumped to try the pickle pizza and Cesar salad we see online everywhere. Tried a couple extra to see what they were packing and did not disappoint! The pepperoni and pickle were by far my favorite. My friend with me loved the sausage pizza as well. The house wine was pretty tasty too and went well with the meal. But that Cesar salad was everything I hoped for lol. Great job here guys! read more

We stopped by Allday Pizza around 11:30 and still waited ~20 minutes to order and get seated, so I'd recommend arriving a bit early. The pizzas were worth it, though! Pickle - slightly salty on its own, but the ranch dip really ties it together. Spicy Margh - bold, spicy, and super flavorful. Stracciatella - creamy and nicely balanced. The crust deserves a special mention -- light, airy, and delicious. We wrapped up with the Tiramisu, which was a great way to end the meal. Overall, tasty pizzas with a unique twist and a crust that keeps you coming back. read more

The food here is insane, and I think my favorite pizza I've had in Austin. I had a slice of the stracciatella and vodka, and both were really good. The vodka was so thin and crispy. My husband had the chicken parm sandwich and that also was soooo good. The freshly baked bread, sauce, and chicken were perfection. We split the twist soft serve with crushed pretzels and olive oil. The soft serve was super high quality and really creamy. I love olive oil so the amount was perfect for me, but it was a bit much for my husband. Parking was easy for us in the lot but got a bit chaotic as time went on since the lot is kind of tight if there are a ton of cars trying to park at the same time. Another thing to note is that you'll likely have a wait if you go for dinner. We went on a Saturday night and waited in line for probably an hour. I think it was worth it :) You can also order a glass of wine/beer while you're waiting! read more
Overall I had a great experience! From the start, we got there around 1 on a Saturday and so we waited in line for 20 minutes. The way the line works is they wait for a seat to open up before they take your order which I think is so convenient and stress free. We ordered a sweet sausage, a stratiatella, dill pickle, and pep & pepp. My favorite was the stratiatella with the creamy, milky cheese, the basil, and the red sauce. It was delicious!!! I also ordered a Caesar salad which was delicious too. It had breadcrumbs throughout the entire salad that were very crunchy and good. It was also nicely dressed so every bite had lots of flavor. My only critique on the whole meal was that a lot of the items tasted salty to me. Some other general notes are that they only allow service dogs and that there's parking next to the book/coffee shop as well as on the tiny grocery/pizza shop side. read more

I love Allday pizza! I'll admit I'm picky when it comes to places that advertise New York style pizza -- it needs to have enough chew while still having structural integrity no matter the toppings, and Allday meets those requirements and more. The pickle pizza is a must-have and the pep and pepp is a perfect flavor combo. Their add-ons, sides, and "create your own pie" options mean you don't have to miss out on any of their delicious options. The ONLY limit is that the portions are so big that you do still have to really pick and choose so you're not too full to try any of their equally giant desserts (get the soft serve gelato!). I find parking at this location easier than at Flo's wine bar. But the lines at all of the Allday locations move pretty quickly, and I've never struggled too much to find a table. read more
We stood in line for about half an hour, but it was absolutely worth it. Everything we tried was great, but the real standout was the pickle pizza. It wasn't even on the menu, and it ended up being the best thing we ordered. We also tried one of the sandwiches, which was really good as well. Definitely a place worth the wait read more
OUUU THE SALAD WAS MY FAV jaja. It was really good, slightly a bit too salty but it wasn't unpleasant. As for the pizza me and my sister ordered everything for the one time you know and our favorite flavors were pickle and pepperoni! If I came back I don't think I'd order a large pizza for two again cause the slices are pretty filling. Even one soft serve could be shared between two. Overall would come back. My boyfriend and I came here every day during our 3 day Austin trip. This pizza was insane, we had to take it back home to Dallas. I will say that the first day was super smooth sailing because we came right when they opened during the week, the last day was an insane wait due to the weekend (which is understood). It was still worth the wait regardless, def stop by here!! I think we tried every slice and none of them were a miss. read more

Was excited to come try this pizzeria out in Hyde Park but I think they need a bit of work on their service. The lines are long. Very long. On average I'd say about an hour+ during weekends. So we opted (for our first time) to do a pickup instead- We put an order in for a Cacio e Pepe and a Spicy Margherita with regular sauce instead (an option they offer). The wait time was listed for an hour and a half for pickup. We arrived at the listed time and the pizza wasn't ready. We ended up having to wait outside for another half hour (10pm at this point). When I asked about our pizza I was briskly told to wait outside by the server. We finally received our pizza and headed home, only to realize they hadn't subbed the sauce and the Margherita was insanely spicy. Our friend has digestive issues and they had no recourse so we spent $30 (after taxes and tip) on a pizza nobody could eat. The average pie is a good size, we spent $60 for 2 pizzas. On a positive, the Cacio e Pepe pizza was good. But overall the experience was very mixed. Went in with high hopes but this carryout system was massively flawed, and with 2 hours notice they couldn't even get our order right. No contact info or email was available on their website for a recourse once we realized they messed our order up. Please Allday- for what you charge, basic options like this are a necessity for customer service. read more

I absolutely love this Allday Pizza location! Located right next to my favorite book store in Austin, this incredible pizza lunch spot can have a line sometimes so be prepared (and hungry)! My favorite dishes are the Caesar salad and their SWEET SAUSAGE pizza slice! I love the freshness of the ingredients and I like my pizza on the thinner side so I greatly appreciate their style! You order first and then are given a number to be seated. read more

This popular neighbourhood spot was so busy and noisy that we ordered dinner to go. Thankfully it was a short walk home! We had two slices of cheese pizza and a whole Sweet Sausage pie ($33 for six large slices) with ricotta cream, mozzarella, crumbled sausage, soppressata, red onion & calabrian honey. The $14 Caesar Salad was a bit spendy but did stretch to feed three. Their $8 vanilla soft serve is enormous and again, enough for three small portions. Everything was delicious! At first we chose the $10 pistachio soft serve, but changed it to plain vanilla. Interestingly, we were not refunded for the difference. Didn't notice it on the receipt until after we left. I placed a pickup order and the pizza was ready right on time. The staff were super friendly when I came in. This location shares its parking lot with a little grocer store so I can imagine it getting busy but I didn't have any trouble finding parking. Overall the pizza was just okay for me. I really liked the chew on the crust but I would've liked a little bit more cheese and sauce on it. The Cacio e Pepe flavor shined through nicely with the fresh black pepper. I do wish they had an option to mix and match slices online but that might only be an option when ordering dine in. read more
Came here during the weekend and there was a waiting like outside the restaurant. When I heard about a new NY style pizza in town, I have to try it myself. They offer a variety of flavour to choose from and I do like that you can order different slices instead of the full pizza. We ordered 5 slides to try out and it is definitely more than enough for 2 people. I enjoyed the pepperoni and sweet sausage but I think the rest of the slices were just par. Some slices were a bit burnt at the bottom. Is it worth trying? Sure, but I probably wouldn't go back. I do think that homeslice pizza offer better quality NY pizza. Parking is a bit tricky during the weekend, so expect to wait. The ambiance of the restaurant is modern and simply, nothing really stood out for me. read more

Delicious pizza! My personal favorites were the tomato tomato and the pickle pizza. Slices were quite large and kept me full. You order at the counter (and there's almost always a bit of a wait out the door but it's worth it) and then get seated at a table. Their pizza is great and their soft serve is as well! Good god, the butter chicken pizza special. This was hands down one of my best bites of 2025. It was creamy and spicy but not too spicy. The chicken was tender and the green sauce on top was a perfect compliment. Please put this pizza on the menu full time!! read more
I'm a big fan of AllDay Pizza's other locations in Tarrytown and E. 6th. The Hyde Park spot is tucked into the same complex as Bureau de Poste and First Light Book Shop, which makes for a fun cluster of good food and neighborhood vibes. The space isn't huge, some counter stools outside and a handful of tables inside. I guess you could say it's cozy in a good way. Like the neighboring Bureau de Poste, they've leaned into the whole "former post office" thing with the decor, which adds a little character. Solid beverage options: a nice selection of beers and wine by the bottle. I didn't get a look at their wine-by-the-glass list, but it sounds like they have one based on the other drinks menu. Now to the important part: the pizza. As always with AllDay, it was excellent. Honestly, I say this too often but it's probably in my top 5 pizza spots in Austin. We went for a full plain cheese, the Vodka Baby (vodka sauce) and the Sweet Sausage, and all 3 were great. The Vodka Baby in particular was a standout. I don't recall seeing it at Tarrytown, and I appreciate that each location has a few signature pies unique to them. I did catch a sign mentioning their famous Pickle Pie at Hyde Park too, which I'll definitely be coming back for. And don't skip dessert -- the pistachio swirl soft serve was outstanding. It's huge, we split one five ways and it was plenty. You order at the counter and pick up when your buzzer goes off. Service was very friendly. And one last callout if you haven't been to an AllDay in a while: they used to have a deal where if you ordered 5 slices, you'd get the 6th free. Six huge, different slices made for an awesome photo and an even better meal getting to try them all. Sadly, they said they don't offer that deal anymore, but you can still mix and match 6 unique slices. It'll just cost you a little more. read more
