Love this place! It's the cutest location, with great NY-style pizza and fun drinks. You order at the counter, find a seat, and your order gets brought to you when it's ready -- they've got wooden booths throughout and lots of natural light that gives the whole space a bright, cozy vibe. I visited on a Thursday at lunchtime with my cousin, and there was plenty of seating available with just a couple of other booths occupied. Service was great and our order came out pretty quickly. Now, the pizza did not disappoint. Nice and crispy crust with the perfect amount of bend, and the flavors were delicious. They sell whole pies or by the slice. When I visited we got a couple of pickle slices, which come with a side of their amazing ranch, a pep & pepp, a margherita, and a cheese slice. Tonight was one of those nights when soft serve was on the mind, and driving out of your way for some is exactly what the doctor ordered. The creative flavor combinations are what make Allday stand out. The pizza game is strong with this one. I haven't ventured to too many pizza spots in Austin after being spoiled in NYC for so long. I heard about Allday through some IG posts and decided to give it a try and it did not let me down. There was a line of about 10-15 people, but it moved fast. They were super organized and efficient inside. You have the option to order individual slices, or a whole pie depending on what you are feeling or how hungry you are. We order the sausage pie, a pickle slice, and a caesar salad. I will say the caesar salad was actually my favorite, the lettuce was fresh, and super flavorful, definitely one of my favorites in Austin. The crust of all the slices were definitely on the well-done side (zero flop). The sausage pie was good, but was a bit sweeter than I wanted. I will certainly be back to try a pie with red sauce. WARNING: large groups (5+) and 4+ pie takeout orders are charged 20% auto-gratuity. Firstly, their pizza lives up to the hype, my stars go to their chefs. I had their pepperoni pizza with their hot honey and it was delicious. They were very generous with the pepperoni slices which were perfectly cupped and crispy. I also heard that the spicy margh was also very delicious. The only complaint about the food that I heard was that the sausage pizza had too many onions but that's up to preference. The caesar salad was a bit pricey but yummy nonetheless (the dressing came on the side). As for wait time, the restaurant didn't have a line which they usually seem to have. Our 4.5 pizzas and one salad were ready after 30 minutes. Now, this restaurant is not meant for large groups. There is minimal seating inside (the largest table maybe fitting 4-6) and a few small tables outside. They also have 20% auto-gratuity for large parties, even if it's takeout/to-go or you're paying separately. As for my experience, I came with 10 people. Since it was a lot of people, we decided to split into groups to share pies. When the first group went to order, from what I was told, the cashier asked how many were in the party. The person ordering responded with 3 because they were the ones splitting one pizza. The cashier said "Are you sure?" and we ended up putting it all on one buzzer. There was also no available seating inside so we had to eat outside/takeout. There was no warning of the 20% auto-gratuity due to us being a large party until it was time to pay. Being a group of students, it would've been very helpful to know prior to ordering as the prices of the pizza is already pretty high. I could understand the auto-gratuity if we ate inside and were served: pizza delivered to the table, checking up on us if we needed anything, etc. but we had to eat outside and pick up our pizzas when it was ready because there was no seating inside. Zero/minimal service. What is the 20% auto-gratuity for if we didn't have the opportunity to be shown customer service? Tip should be optional based on the service received. The cost of making the pizzas and inconvenience should already be incorporated into the pizza price; the workers should already be paid through their wage to do this. On top of that, the way the cashier handled the situation could have been transparent but instead it felt secretive and money-hungry. Overall, our group felt deceived. The restaurant is really small with limited seating, and you get seated after you order so dining in might be a longer wait. We got the mix and match pie which came out to around $35. The workers are very kind as well and the whole restaurant is just so calm and relaxing to be in. This place has some of my favorite pizza in the city. The price is not bad for how big the portions are and the quality. I always get one sweet sausage slice and if I'm feeling risque, a (secret) pickle slice. The sweet sausage comes with ricotta and hot honey which is a top tier combo and the crust is crispy and seasoned to perfection. I'm a pickle lover so it's no surprise that I'd love the pickle pizza with the strong dill taste and the toasted pickle slices on top. So glad I got to try this place. My friend's favorite place so she brought me here on a weekday to celebrate our friend's birthday casual lunch. We did not think it would be busy on a weekday, but we couldn't find parking so that became an issue, but we circled around and finally squeezed into a spot and then there was a long line, but I heard it moved quick. Excellent pizza. Whichever flavor you choose, you'd be in for a treat. The staff is also trying their best to be friendly and accommodating given the crowds that they work with. Highly recommended! The only reason I'm giving them one star is because they are horrible at line management. And, their lines are always long! I'm glad this place is doing so well. It's bringing folks from all over Austin to Hyde Park, and they're a good neighbor. Unfortunately, they desperately need to step up in their line management game. First, folks in line very often block the sidewalk and the access to next-door First Light Bookstore. That's not very nice. Second, with all the sun and heat, folks sometimes decide to leave a very large gap in the middle of the line not optimizing how packed and orderly the line is. Third, the staff at AllDay are trying to speed up the process by sitting patrons at a given table, but because all this is manual and not automated, it turns out less optimal than a random process. So, I love this place; BUT they need to work harder to corral the folks in line, usher them in a packed and orderly procession, and invest in some tools to automate the table assignment. This probably means hiring more people too. read more

My fiancé and I met another couple for dinner at Allday. We had never been there before, but our friends are regulars here and had raved about the pizza. I'm so happy to finally try Allday out! We got on line and spent maybe 20 minutes waiting. We didn't realize until we were in line, but Allday is opened by the same people who own Birdies on 12th street. We immediately made the connection from the way the line worked and the colors used in the logo. We looked it up and officially confirmed. As we waited on line, we looked at the menu and decided what we wanted to eat. My fiancé and I had a slice of pickle pie, industry plant, pep and pepp, and a slice of the sweet sausage. We finished it off with the tiramisu. The pizza slices are pretty sizeable and we were full off of them. The pickle pie was unique and tasty. The tiramisu was very flavorful, as well! We also shared a bottle of orange wine. The ambiance is casual and friendly. All the staff is helpful and a friendly face, too! They were quick to refill water bottles for the table, which is always a must when eating pizza. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised! One of my favorite new restaurant discoveries from one of my homies was the new Hyde Park location of Allday Pizza. When my girlfriend came into town this past weekend, I knew I had to take her. Most of my thoughts are in my previous review, but I wanted to add a few extra notes here. There will always be a line. We arrived around 1:20 pm and didn't order until about 2 pm. Even after we left, there was still a line. It gets worse during prime hours, but a line is always prevalent during the weekends at Allday Pizza. This time, from the recommendation of my cousin, we ordered their Caesar Salad, and I truly think it is the best Caesar I've ever had. I've had some amazing Caesars at some top-notch restaurants, some even made tableside, and this stands toe-to-toe with them and might even surpass all of them. Fourteen dollars is a steal for the size, and it's easily shareable for a group of four or less. I would honestly eat the whole thing myself--that's how good it is. I ordered the stracciatella and pep & pepp again (my full thoughts are in the previous review), and it is still top-notch. I tried a bite of both the Pickle Pizza and the Industry Plant via my girlfriend, and I enjoyed them, but I am very proud of the pizzas I picked. I recommend giving this place a chance. Waiting in line is just part of the experience, and you know what? It's kind of New York of them. Pick up a book at First Light next door and be performative while you wait. Fall in love. I had conflicting feelings about Allday pizza- first of all, the off-the-menu pickle pizza was so delicious. I'm not a particular pickle lover, but the pickles were thinly sliced and not too sour or overpowering, while the sauce paired was not too heavy. At $6, this pricey slice is worth it. What was disappointing however was the soft serve. We shared a cream-based order with olive oil. The EVOO was refreshing and delicious, but something about the cream was very off- artificial, stale? I did not want to take more than a small bite, and that was a full $8 wasted as we threw it out- this is a huge hit coming from two ice cream fanatics.
