I've loved Allday since they opened, but after today I have new respect for them. While standing in line to order, I experienced lightheadedness; I fainted and the Allday staff took the best care of me. They were so attentive to me. They called the paramedics and didn't leave my side. They sat with me, got me a cold towel, water, soda, and even gave me pizza & salad on the house. They gave the paramedics pizza on the house too!! As the paramedics arrived and ran tests, the Allday staff stayed with me. After the paramedics left, the staff continued to check up on me and told me I could stay and hangout as long as I'd like. They made me feel so cared for. I want to give a huge shoutout and thanks to Sally and Matt for taking care of me in a really scary moment. I'm very grateful for them. The pizza game is strong with this one. I haven't ventured to too many pizza spots in Austin after being spoiled in NYC for so long. I heard about Allday through some IG posts and decided to give it a try and it did not let me down. There was a line of about 10-15 people, but it moved fast. They were super organized and efficient inside. You have the option to order individual slices, or a whole pie depending on what you are feeling or how hungry you are. We order the sausage pie, a pickle slice, and a caesar salad. I will say the caesar salad was actually my favorite, the lettuce was fresh, and super flavorful, definitely one of my favorites in Austin. The crust of all the slices were definitely on the well-done side (zero flop). The sausage pie was good, but was a bit sweeter than I wanted. I will certainly be back to try a pie with red sauce. We waited in line for about 20 minutes before ordering at the counter and being seated. My husband ordered a slice of pickle pizza and a slice of pepperoni. WARNING: large groups (5+) and 4+ pie takeout orders are charged 20% auto-gratuity. Firstly, their pizza lives up to the hype, my stars go to their chefs. I had their pepperoni pizza with their hot honey and it was delicious. They were very generous with the pepperoni slices which were perfectly cupped and crispy. I also heard that the spicy margh was also very delicious. The only complaint about the food that I heard was that the sausage pizza had too many onions but that's up to preference. The caesar salad was a bit pricey but yummy nonetheless (the dressing came on the side). As for wait time, the restaurant didn't have a line which they usually seem to have. Our 4.5 pizzas and one salad were ready after 30 minutes. Now, this restaurant is not meant for large groups. There is minimal seating inside (the largest table maybe fitting 4-6) and a few small tables outside. They also have 20% auto-gratuity for large parties, even if it's takeout/to-go or you're paying separately. As for my experience, I came with 10 people. Since it was a lot of people, we decided to split into groups to share pies. When the first group went to order, from what I was told, the cashier asked how many were in the party. The person ordering responded with 3 because they were the ones splitting one pizza. The cashier said "Are you sure?" and we ended up putting it all on one buzzer. There was also no available seating inside so we had to eat outside/takeout. There was no warning of the 20% auto-gratuity due to us being a large party until it was time to pay. Being a group of students, it would've been very helpful to know prior to ordering as the prices of the pizza is already pretty high. I could understand the auto-gratuity if we ate inside and were served: pizza delivered to the table, checking up on us if we needed anything, etc. but we had to eat outside and pick up our pizzas when it was ready because there was no seating inside. Zero/minimal service. What is the 20% auto-gratuity for if we didn't have the opportunity to be shown customer service? Tip should be optional based on the service received. The cost of making the pizzas and inconvenience should already be incorporated into the pizza price; the workers should already be paid through their wage to do this. On top of that, the way the cashier handled the situation could have been transparent but instead it felt secretive and money-hungry. Overall, our group felt deceived. The restaurant is really small with limited seating, and you get seated after you order so dining in might be a longer wait. We got the mix and match pie which came out to around $35. Pretty pricey but the slices are massive. Also, I loved the crust here! Pickle: 9/10. We came specifically for this one and it did not disappoint. It was kind of annoying to eat bc the pickles were sliced vertically, but the flavor was great! I liked the breadcrumbs on top, and the ranch it came with helped cut the acidity. The price is not bad for how big the portions are and the quality. I always get one sweet sausage slice and if I'm feeling risque, a (secret) pickle slice. The sweet sausage comes with ricotta and hot honey which is a top tier combo and the crust is crispy and seasoned to perfection. So glad I got to try this place. My friend's favorite place so she brought me here on a weekday to celebrate our friend's birthday casual lunch. As we waited on line, we looked at the menu and decided what we wanted to eat. My fiancé and I had a slice of pickle pie, industry plant, pep and pepp, and a slice of the sweet sausage. We finished it off with the tiramisu. The pizza slices are pretty sizeable and we were full off of them. The pickle pie was unique and tasty. The tiramisu was very flavorful, as well! We also shared a bottle of orange wine. The ambiance is casual and friendly. All the staff is helpful and a friendly face, too! They were quick to refill water bottles for the table, which is always a must when eating pizza. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised! One of my favorite new restaurant discoveries from one of my homies was the new Hyde Park location of Allday Pizza. When my girlfriend came into town this past weekend, I knew I had to take her. Most of my thoughts are in my previous review, but I wanted to add a few extra notes here. There will always be a line. We arrived around 1:20 pm and didn't order until about 2 pm. Even after we left, there was still a line. It gets worse during prime hours, but a line is always prevalent during the weekends at Allday Pizza. This time, from the recommendation of my cousin, we ordered their Caesar Salad, and I truly think it is the best Caesar I've ever had. I've had some amazing Caesars at some top-notch restaurants, some even made tableside, and this stands toe-to-toe with them and might even surpass all of them. Fourteen dollars is a steal for the size, and it's easily shareable for a group of four or less. I would honestly eat the whole thing myself--that's how good it is. I ordered the stracciatella and pep & pepp again (my full thoughts are in the previous review), and it is still top-notch. I tried a bite of both the Pickle Pizza and the Industry Plant via my girlfriend, and I enjoyed them, but I am very proud of the pizzas I picked. I recommend giving this place a chance. I saw their pickle pizza on their Instagram and wanted to give it a try. This place is fairly close to UT, but not close enough to walk there I think. There is also parking around the place but it was pretty full when I visited tonight on a weekday. There was a line when we got there around 6:15pm and decided to do a to go order. I noticed that there was a sign inside that said that they take orders based on availability of seating so keep that in mind if you are planning to dine in. The inside of the restaurant is cute and casual. It gives a chill vibe but also was busy. As for the food, my sister and I ordered a slice of the pickle pizza, pepperoni, and spicy margh. The pickle pizza comes with a side of ranch so we also ordered a side of hot honey (+$1) and chili oil (+$1). It was a little pricey for those extra sauces and I'm not sure if I would pay that much again for them. The pickle pizza looks beautifully decorated with pickle slices and I enjoyed that there was pickle on every bite. It went great with the ranch and I would definitely get it again next time. The pepperoni slice and the spicy margh were also pretty good but the pickle pizza is my favorite from the three. The spicy margh was more on the spicier side if you are looking for more of a kick. Our group of seven visited Allday Pizza in Hyde Park on a Sunday afternoon. There was very limited parking available in this area, so if you can carpool that would be more ideal. There was a line out the door of Allday Pizza, which we didn't expect. Luckily, it moved relatively quickly. You must order at the counter first if you want to sit and dine in. There are a few umbrellas outside the doors to provide shade for customers who are waiting. No dogs are allowed inside unless they are service dogs. My boyfriend and I ordered a Caesar Salad, four slices of pizza, and the Cold Brew Affogato. The four slices of pizza we ordered were: Sweet Sausage, Pepperoni, Spicy Margh, and Vodka Baby. Everything was delicious and came out a lot faster than expected. My favorite slices were the Sweet Sausage and Vodka Baby. I loved that the slices are big and thin. They are on the crispier side. The Cold Brew Affogato was more so soft serve ice cream than a float. I thought there would be more cold brew with it. Our total was around $50 (before tip) for the four slices of pizza, Caesar Salad, and Cold Brew Affogato. Definitely on the pricer side. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Great service all around with everyone we interacted with. The space is on the smaller side, so I wouldn't bring large groups to dine in. The best pizza in Austin!! You do have to wait a long time if you're coming during a popular time. We got to the front of the line and ordered after 45 minutes of waiting. The wait was worth it though!! They were super accommodating with our large party size. The food also came out very fast and they gave us the receipt for the soft serve so we could have it after we were done eating for dessert. The restaurant is super busy and there's a lack of seating but it's cute. The vibe is very modern and chic. A lot of people were there on a casual date, with friends, or families. There's also a cute bookstore called First Light next door so if you wanted to past time. I personally tried the pep and pepp, pickle pizza slices, caesar salad, and soft serve. They were all so good!! I've had a lot of New York pizza and this is better than some of them!! It's also more unique and better than Home Slice in my opinion which used to be my favorite. I just loved the ranch with the pickle pizza it tied it in nicely!! The caesar salad was the best caesar salad I've had ever!!! It was super crunchy and light. The soft serve was typical soft serve and the birthday cake topping was perfect with it. Overall, everyone really enjoyed it and we would go again. read more

Allday Pizza makes great pizza that's a half step short of excellent. Their fault isn't the taste, it's the execution, but that doesn't mean it loses a star. Hear me out. First off, don't be intimidated by the line. There were probably 20 people in front of my date and I and we were ordering within 30 min having arrived at 615 pm on a Saturday. It moves fast. We were eating within 10 min of ordering. We got five unique slices of pizza, which means we nearly sampled the menu. Each slice is 1/6 of a pizza so ordering 6 slices is like getting a full pie. Here's the thing, they perfectly cook their pizzas. The crusts are perfect, the char is perfect, the burnt tips of toppings are perfect. It's the best cooked pizza I've had in Austin. The issue is a combination of the pre made builds and thoughtfulness of what's on them. The spicy margarita slice should have more than one blob of cheese and a couple of basil slices. And work on that spice depth - figure out a better arabbiata, or let me know and I'll teach. The pep and pepp shouldn't have mountains of pepoerocini in some places and none in others. The arugula one is basically a salad. The best slice is the vodka sauce slice, but it's desperately missing a savory component which you need to add on. It's so frustrating because everything here taste great, but knowing it could easily achieve excellence with a few basic touches is hard. At a minimum this is in the conversation for best pizza in Austin. At worst it's a disappointment because any thought into the food should lead a perceptive eater to finding clear gaps in it.
