It was a nice way to end my stay at The Wynn. Allegro was very close to the elevator at the Casino level. Cool casual atmosphere with dim lighting and friendly staff. Allegro scores big brownie points from my wife who is a picky mojito drinker:) I also like that the dining area opens up to the casino floor. You can see some of the action and it doesn't feel so enclosed. We started with the Polipo: Grilled Octopus, Calamari, Panzanella, Avocado. Followed by the Bosco Pizza: Roasted Mushroom Purée, Ricotta Cheese, White Truffle Oil. And the Pappardelle with Grilled Salmon: Housemade Pappardelle Pasta, Prosciutto Vodka Sauce. I got 9oz Riesling. For dessert, we shared a Cannoli with coffee. I think overall, I needed great Italian food without feeling stuffy. If you want more privacy, try Cipriani which has more of an upscale feel. read more

My wife and I passed by ALLEGRO, in the Wynn, as we were looking for a cafe to eat at. Allegro was closed, so we kept walking. There was a cafe across the hall, but it was packed. We continued walking and found another cafe, but it had a long line. The buffet had a very long line, longer than I have ever seen. Wr decided to pass and eat outside of the Wynn. As we walked ack towards Allegro, we noticed that it might be open. We stopped by and asked. They were happy to west us. We were the first customers of the day. Soon, the place was filled. The restaurant was beautiful. The decor was great. The lighting was awesome. The seats were so comfortable. The service was top notch. I ordered the avocado toast with smoked salmon. My wife ordered the breakfast sandwich. We both had orange juice to drink. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and was amazing. When the food came out, it looked beautiful. My wife said they had a person wiping the plated before being served. The presentation was top notch. My avocado toast with salmon, looked magnificent. Not only did it look magnificent, this was the best tasting avocado toast I have ever had, just amazing. My wife said her breakfast sandwich was great also. I love the Wynn, i also love this place, if your hungry late night or want to grab a bite to eat after the club is the place to be. They are open late night which is amazing. My wife and I are in LV 4-6 times a year and have always made Allegro Restaurant 1 of our stops everytime usually on our first night in town - we have always loved their food and service until New Years Day evening. I ordered the veal chop parm and have always loved it however this time it was overcooked. It was dry burnt along the edges as well as the sauce burnt on the bone. I politely let our server know and she quickly removed the plate and brought it to the kitchen about 45 seconds later the manager returned and let me know that she showed my meal to the chef and he said "I was wrong, theres nothing wrong with it and they'd be happy to wrap it up so I could take it home" - I'm not proud of my reaction as I went from 0-100 in 3 seconds and told her where the chef should stick the veal. We promptly paid the bill and left. Maybe he was exhausted from the night before and was having a bad day but how you can tell a customer especially at an establishment at Wynn "YOUR"RE WRONG..... The meal was excellent from beginning to end. The fresh bread with olive oil was a nice way to start . We then enjoyed the minestrone soup, linguini with clams, and branzino. The torte and coffee were also excellent for dessert. Our server, Kevin was also amazing. He listened, made good recommendations, and was pleasant and prompt. I love that this place has a great Italian restaurant ambiance/vibe and they're open late! We ordered the beef carpaccio (6/10) and the chicken Parmesan (7/10). The service was quick and our server was super friendly. The beef carpaccio was great quality but there was some sweet fruit on it, which wasn't my thing (might be yours, though). The chicken for the chicken Parmesan was HUGE (thin but HUGE) but it had lots of flavor and was well breaded. It was on top of spaghetti which I thought was bland. For the entree we ordered the rigatoni with meatballs and the parpadelle with chicken. The meat balls were great but the rigatoni was a little too under for me. This is the first time dining at Allegro , which is located inside of the Wynn. Started of with some calamari salad and Caesar Salad, which were absolutely delicious! The calamari was marinated and grilled, and was super tender! The dressing was light and refreshing. The Caesar was also delicious! Also had a grilled fish fish, sorry I forgot the name, but it was a freshly grilled filet in a delicious cream sauce. Or main dishes were clam linguine, and a giant veal parmigiana cool, that was as big as the plate! Both were very tasty, and the veal was very tender. Dessert, keep some room! Had tiramisu, lemon custard with sorbet, so refreshing and perfectly concluded it meal! The prices were very reasonable and the service is absolutely the best! Not impressed at all. My Burrata appetizer was the highlight of my meal and that was average at best. For my entrée I went with the Pappardelle, the pasta was severally overcooked and mushy so much they simply fell apart when trying to pick them up with my fork. It was supposed to have prosciutto in it but I only tasted it in one bite. The vodka sauce was decent but at that point with the pasta being so overcooked it didn't really matter. Service was not great either, waiter came out dropped our entrees on the table and left, he didn't offer any parmesan cheese we had to waive him down 5 minutes later. We came in to Allegro when I was getting hungry late at night on our first night at the Wynn. Italian sounded yummy. What we found out is that after 11pm, they have a late night menu, that eliminates a few items and adds a few. It helped me decide, because the Artichoke ravioli I was considering is not on the late night menu so I went with the burrata caprese and it was SO GOOD - although I could have eaten two of those!!!. My mouth is watering writing this! A nice size Burrata ball, lovely basil pesto, and nice aged balsamic with a plateful of flavorful cherry tomatoes HIT THE SPOT! As usual, the husband went with wings and while he liked them, he was disappointed in the ratio between drumettes and wings. (He prefers the drumettes). Service was great and I had a yummy Basil Gimlet that was a perfect compliment to the burrata! I'll definitely come back. Great place to have dinner with your family. I made my reservation and they had our table ready. Danielle was our waitress and she was great. Very attentive and informative of all the dishes. My brother in law is very picky and wanted some chicken Alfredo and even though it is not on the menu, they were able to make it for him. I had the lasagna, my sister had the chicken Parmesan, my older son had the lobster pasta and my little guy had the pepperoni pizza. Everything was delicious! Its open until 6am and has some pretty amazing Italian food, but OMG the next day I am looking at the prices and I am like did we really spend that much? LOLZ only in vegas. From what I can remember at 4am post XS nightclub is that the wood fired margherita pizza was delicious for an appetizer. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and OMGGG it was huge. Going to have to give Allegro three stars, no more, no less, mostly because while they try to be all things to all people - Italian food with some deep dish cooking aspects, but less greasy, less oily, to appeal to the more health conscious, they seem to fall a little short in both departments, as the Italian food here is neither truly authentic tasting, nor entirely healthful. We had several dishes, we split a Caesar Salad which was not bad at all, though by no means spectacular, and a legume (white bean and escarole) soup that is no longer on the menu, that was healthful, but relatively bland. I went with a squash dandelion Ravioli that is also no longer on the menu, and my friend had a custom prepared Chicken Parmigiana with linguine, with a meatball side dish. I ended up asking for fresh lemon to squeeze over everything to add some zest to it, which is not a good sign of flavorful dishes. They also brought roasted garlic that we ate with the bread, accompanied with the usual olive oil and rosemary. No complaints there. Service was efficient, friendly and fast. Looking at Allegro's menu, there is a lot on there that looks tantalizing, but then, based on what we ordered and received, it is quite possible that nothing on their menu comes to the table tasting as good as described in words. Still, for a place that is open almost all day, it does provide a variety of foods, just don't expect to be swept off your feet as it's more like "Italian Food, lite" than the real thing. read more

The lobster fra diavolo was good and spicy... not a big deal, but of course you need to take the lobster out of its shell as well as the shrimp, so you need to touch your food a bit. The ambiance is romantic, although people are bringing their children. It is very loud, so hopefully you can sit towards the back so it's not so loud next to the casino.
