My husband and I had an 11:00 reservation at Cipriani Las Vegas and are extremely disappointed by how we were treated. We arrived shortly after 11:00 but before the 15-minute grace period ended (before 11:15). My husband is a disabled veteran, and the walk from the Wynn was physically challenging, but we still made sure to arrive within the allowed window. When we checked in, the hostess said she needed to get the manager. After waiting several minutes, the manager (Ledio) came out with an immediately dismissive and hostile attitude. Despite not being present when we arrived, he insisted we got there at 11:16 and refused to seat us-without verifying anything. Fortunately, I had been recording when we walked in as I was admiring the decor and have time-stamped video clearly showing we arrived before 11:15. He refused to even look at it. What made the situation worse was his behavior when I questioned him- he began making insulting comments about me and my appearance. I have this recorded as well. This was not just poor service- it was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. As someone who regularly enjoys Cipriani location's in New York, this experience was shocking and far below the standard I expected. Even if his claim had been true, refusing to seat two guests for being one minute late would be unreasonable. But in this case, it wasn't even accurate. I came in with high expectations based on other Cipriani locations I've visited--New York and even Mexico set a pretty high bar. The Las Vegas outpost was... decent, but it didn't quite live up to the Cipriani standard I'm used to. The New Zealand lamb chops were good but not memorable. I love love love Cipriani in NYC and in Venice. So I talked my dining partner in coming here in Vegas where the most excellent restaurants exist at every turn. Sadly, I do think the 3 stars on Yelp are accurate. Cipriani Vegas was a horrible experience. I love their eggplant with rigatoni and ricotta as pictured on other reviews. They didn't have it on the menu this evening so I was going to order eggplant parmigiana and asked for a side of pasta with marinara to go with it in an attempt to mimic the dish I so love. The bartender told me you cannot order sides of pasta or a kids sized portion at Cipriani. So, we asked for the manager. Ledi, the manager, also told us we were not able to order a side of pasta and that they don't offer kid's portions. He told us we needed to order a full entree of pasta instead in addition to my eggplant parmigiana. Actually, there is one small pasta available to order, he said - it's tortellini with bechamel sauce and ham and you can exclude the ham. Are you serious?! A high end Italian restaurant refusing to accommodate a very very simple request from its loyal customers? I've been going to Cipriani in NYC basically since it opened and never ever was treated like this. They have always been accommodating, gracious, and truly Italian. Though we enjoyed our Bellinis, we did not have a great experience. Plus, the bar is ridiculously small - only 6 seats. Vegas Cipriani is beyond unenjoyable. Do not go. Let the Yelp reviews speak loud and clear and shut them down. There are so many other high end Italian restaurants in Vegas who are actually customer centric (though Cipriani always was in the past). We had dinner at Cipriani in Vegas and I wasn't overly impressed with the food or service. Bf liked his John Dory entree but they served it with rice and wouldn't sub out pasta which seemed off for a works renowned Italian restaurant. I actually LOVED the salmon sashimi appetizer which is reminiscent of the new style sashimi at Nobu. That is the standout here. Visited Cipriani at the Wynn for a light mid‑afternoon meal, and the food was quite good as you'd expect from a restaurant within Wynn. We ordered the Artichoke & Avocado Salad and Broccoli Soup. They also got us bread service with absolutely incredible olive oil. Everything tasted fresh and well executed; the soup however could have used a touch more seasoning, but it was still enjoyable. The service experience, however, was mixed. Our attending staff member appeared disengaged and seemed disappointed that we weren't ordering full entrées or expensive drinks, which created an uncomfortable tone and made us feel unwelcome. Decided to skip ordering desserts. On the positive side, another young team member who assisted with water and small table needs was warm, friendly, and very attentive -- his hospitality was genuinely appreciated. Overall, the food was on point, but the inconsistency in service brings my rating to 3/5 (ver rare amongst my reviews). If not for the other gentleman, it would have been a 2/5. Worst meal in years. We didn't read reviews before. Our bad! Waiter- rude, condescending and low iq. The Ciprianis in Venice is called Harry's. I've been 3 times to Venice and never heard of it. "It's a world heritage site" um no it's not. Seating- super low chairs and small tables. Literally hips were hurting. "It's based on our bar in Italy" well it doesn't work. Everyone complained Martinis- brought out in a shot glass, which was super tacky. Olives with pits in them. Wtf. Absolutely disappointing. Sad. Wine- came out in a water glass. Cheap AF Food- the $100 truffle pizza was ok but worth $30. Veal was disgusting. Didn't eat it. Lamb chops-meh. Misto salad- all tomatoes and sad amount of crab. We ate probably 40% of our food and just said fuck this and left. $600 down the tubes and left wanting service and a decent meal. I was in town for work and had a team dinner here. I will say the appetizers and my entree were very good. The side dishes were a bit strange and the restaurant was very loud but overall not a bad meal. Service was decent. We shared these appetizers: Burrata "alla Mediterranea" with Cherry Tomatoes and Taggiasche Olives - yummy! Fritto Misto (Calamari & Shrimp) with Tartare and Marinara Sauce - very flavorful! Steak Tartare "alla Cipriani" * - tasty! For my entree, I went with the Veal Piccatine "al Limone" served with Rice Pilaf. The veal was very flavorful and tender. The rice pilaf was boring though and I was not sure what to do with it. Do I put it on the plate to soak in the sauce or eat it separately? It was just a weird side. Then several other people had fish dishes and their side was just a random bowl of cold tomatoes. Even weirder than my rice. Also it was hard to talk to others at the table as the place was so loud. There...I just enhanced your dining experience :) After a wonderful show at the Wynn, we wanted to eat somewhere close by, so we chose Cipriani. The reservations were wide open online, but we still had to wait when we got there. The decor and ambiance were nice, and the gnocchi was very good. It was made with something else besides potatoes, but it had a nice consistency. The pizza was also very good if you like spice. Everything was going well, until dessert. Las Vegas has been heading down in tourism as people feel "ripped off" when they gamble on the strip, with the new payouts on table games. Ordering dessert at Cipriani felt the same way. Of course, the waiter tries to have you order more stuff, but for an Italian restaurant, they should know the difference between gelato and mousse. Their dark chocolate gelato is really a mousse. My husband and I were really excited to try this restaurant as we have always heard how good it is in New York but maybe the New York location is better? Typically chain restaurants are pretty consistent so I was disappointed after my experience here. I started with the steak tartare and had the scallops with rice pilaf as my entree. The steak tartare was flavorless and my scallops were overcooked and rubbery. The rice that accompanied my scallops were undercooked. The only things that were actually decent during my dinner there were the virgin peach bellini and the complimentary vanilla meringue cake they provided for my husband's birthday. Oh Cipriani. If there is one place in Vegas that truly recreates the feel of the original New York experience, this is it. Cipriani Las Vegas nails the details from the moment you walk in. You check in with the host, then the manager personally greets you and walks you to your table. They pull out the table, pay special attention to the ladies, and set the tone for the night. It feels old school in all the right ways and exactly what you expect from a classic Italian institution. If you love wine, you are in the right place. The wine list is extensive and very impressive. We tried a couple of bottles, including one recommended by the manager, and even though it was a young vintage it was absolutely fantastic. For food, start with the Fritto Misto and the scallops. Ignore any reviews that say they are not done right. That has not been our experience at all. From there, go straight into pasta heaven. The baked tagliolini with ham, the rigatoni, and the gnocchi were all excellent and exactly what you want from this style of restaurant. I honestly do not understand how this place is not more highly rated. Service is on point, the atmosphere is spot on, and the overall experience feels well above and beyond. Where do we begin. Had to wait 15 mins for our reservation to be seated. The server while nice probably needs a revamp of their menu. Drinks couldn't be altered, odd. We'd have loved to have known we could get solid big rocks for our drinks. Poor upselling. The artichoke salads tasted like they were made for farm animals. The steak and fish meals were okay. The rest? Pretty poor. Servers didn't ask how we were doing, but did remove some of the items we couldn't eat off the bill. The bill came to around 600 which is child's play for the places we usually order and eat. Unfortunately we all didn't enjoy this location. The decor for new years with poorly placed balloons was that of a chuckie cheese. This is a tough one for me because I was looking forward to eating at the iconic Cipriani for a long time and when I was planning my recent trip to Vegas I knew this had to be in my plans so I booked a dinner reservation well in advance of my trip. On arrival, we were greeted at the door. It was still pretty quiet and we were taken to our table. Immediately we were met by our server- whose energy was noticeably cold. Our drink orders were taken - which btw - mandatory bellini!! Being the inventor of the bellini you HAVE to order this drink- it doesn't disappoint. This was about the time when it was clear that the tone we had sensed was confirmed. Our server was replaced by someone else- who seemed much more friendly, but things began to feel rushed and I suspect this was because they realized we were not intending to order an expensive bottle of champagne or wine for the table. Regardless, we decided to just enjoy our meal and not be bothered by any sense of pretentious attitude. We ordered pasta; a simple spaghetti with rose, and spaghetti with tuna. If I'm being honest my pasta was a little more than al dente, but tasted good. We also ordered a margarita pizza - delicious. For dessert we had the amazing vanilla meringue cake- if you haven't tried this, you just gotta! It's dreamy. Overall, a very expensive meal- but this goes without saying. It's expected and you go for the fantastic meal- not to be concerned about the bill. The thing that disappointed me was the attitude we felt from the serving staff. It kind of soured our excitement and for this reason I probably won't return to Cipriani Las Vegas - but I will go to the New York location when I'm in town. read more

From the time we were seated no less than three people were right there...pulling out our seats, filling our waters, and asking our drink orders. Ivan was our waiter and his suggestions were excellent. We started with the king crab appetizer 10/10. Followed by cucumber salad 10/10. I love that this place is always nice, clean, and classy. The managers are nice and accommodating. Our server, however, thought he was the stuff. It is weird when servers think they're better than their customers. It's such a stain on a great restaurant. We have been here several times and have enjoyed the food. I was happy that they had gluten-free rolls this time. They come to the table wrapped in plastic, which is tacky, but I guess good for a nervous celiac. We have always enjoyed Cipriani at the NYC Grand Central Station and the Central Park. So it was just natural for us to visit the Vegas location inside Wynn whenever we are in the area. Food was as good as their NY counterparts and I appreciate the easy parking at Wynn's. For whatever reason, the lunch crowd seems to be always larger than late dining. But they are all good. The only disappointment I have is their latte! rather than serve it in some nice chinas, they just warm up some milk in a standard water tumbler (8oz or 10oz) and and add the coffee to it. With nothing on the tumbler to grasp on, the latte just not at the right temperature, and you would think the Italians know their coffee. All I can taste is milk & milk in a very homey mismatched serving vessel, and for $8 it is just not something you or I would want to squander. Go enjoy but skip the latte. read more

This restaurant has locations all over the world and they are also located in the Wynn on the Las Vegas Strip. This restaurant was listed on Eater Las Vegas as one of the 19 essential lunch spots of Las Vegas. Short Story - Great Atmosphere and service but the food lacks depth. Longer Story - We came here for an upscale lunch to celebrate the day off. The atmosphere is very upscale. The waitstaff is dressed to the max. On line the daily lunch was priced at $29. but needs to be updated to $34. Also the selection was slightly less and different than what is on-line. They start us off with a bread basket, bread sticks, olive oil and very good balsamic. The bread (and bread sticks) are not the best....but are ok. I try the lentil soup because it is the only choice without an up-charge. WOW! it taste the way it looks in my photo. It completely lacks any depth of flavor.....all I can say is WOW I am shocked. My husband starts with the mortadella and cornichons. He said that the mortadella was ok.....(not the best but ok) The slices were almost free of pistachios. The cornichons had an extra high vinegar content. We both had the Cipriani Tagliolini with Branzino & Cherry Tomatoes. The pasta was cooked perfect but also was completely unseasoned. It did contain a few shreds of basil that were tasteless. But it did get off fish flavor from the bloodline that wasn't removed from the fish. I tried to remedy my plate by adding pepper and the lemon slice from my iced tea. Desserts were the highlight of lunch. The ricotta cheese cake was a bit crumbly. It seemed like it was made with a little cake batter in it. We asked for the yuzu sorbet and the lemon sorbet but were served the Mango and lemon sorbet. We were told they were out of yuzu sorbet so they made a substitution instead of asking us what we wanted. I do have to say that the sorbets were both outstanding. I've been here 3 times, always a business dinner with 5-10 people, so I've come here with high expectations. Ambiance is nice, busy, colorful, so no problem there, I enjoy dynamic atmospheres. The food seems be turning into standard, average fair more and more with every visit. Certainly, less and less Italian. There were 12 of us eating family style, the first round of food came out and not bad, except that a couple of dishes were tasteless, a pinch of salt; so we were still hungry, asked for a second round but this time the food so salty, it wasn't funny. Service was not bad, but not smart. Why would dish food on hot metal trays and not dish out to everyone? We couldn't pass the hot trays to each other but the food was getting cold. So I stood up grabbed the hot trays with my napkin and started to serve my clients. To my surprise, maitre d' assistant asked to finish my work when I was almost done (with an upset attitude, if I may say). But my clients enjoyed the dinner and celebrated my initiative. Well, friends, another strip restaurant that is overhyped and overpriced catering to tourists who are either enamored with the name or else are visiting who will never return. Again, I will be comparing Cipriani to restaurants of the same ilk, expensive and flashy restaurants in casinos (think Sinatra, Cut, Craftsteak.) We made reservations through Resy and arrived 45 minutes early. The hostess directed us to the bar to wait but did note that she would talk to the manager to expedite our seating. The bartender was knowledgeable and prompt. My partner ordered an Old Fashioned which was tasty and based on her preference for certain bourbons the bartender was able to glean and offer to her a second Old Fashioned with a choice bourbon that was novel to her but did indeed have a distinct character that changed the complexion of the drink but suited her tastes well. The drink was a nice pour but the ice was simple cubed ice. No fancy clear ice or single cube/sphere. The glassware was simple. We were seated pleasantly 25 minutes early. The decor is meant to simulate being in a cruise ship and the layout along with the faux portholes with a screen showing ocean waves did indeed remind us of a cruise ship dining room. The servers were dressed in white double breasted frocks and the managers wore single or double breasted suits. The noise level was just on this side of loud but we were able to have a conversation without shouting. As another reviewer noted, the menus were cheap, printed in brochure fashion, on poor paper stock with some of the worse font imaginable. The lettering was thin and small, and the descriptions were undecipherable. We started with the Doge salad and this showed promise. The greens were fresh and varied and the tuna cuts were large, pink and tasty. The dressing was very light olive oil. The bread selection was meager. Four slices of thin sour dough that barely qualified as such along with bread sticks that were probably found at Costco. The olive oil was uninspired with a lack luster tint of green and the primary taste was bitter. No floral notes or savory hints. The balsamic vinegar in contrast was bright and cheery with fruity notes. The entrée. Ah, where to begin. Let me say that the presentation is why I have given this restaurant a 1 star rating. My partner ordered the Australian Ribeye "Wagyu". Regardless of price ($125), this was a travesty. Go to Burger King; you'll get better meat there. To describe the dish as a slab of meat would be a compliment. The grill marks were cross hatched and symmetrical. That's about where the good description ends. There was no garnish; the salt was terrible, and the meat was bland. The wagyu is renowned for it's marbling and the texture of the meat is supposed to be almost akin to butter: it melts in your mouth. This "steak" was fibrous and cloying. I have eaten Playdoh that is better. The side dish of spinach (substitute) was a serving of wilted and boiled leaves. Not even Popeye would touch this stuff. The meal was served on plateware that was about on par for a cruise ship buffet (commodity) and the silverware about the same (not even a steak knife.) I ordered the veal over rice pilaf. If anything, my partner's dish was more appealing. Four slices of grey matter, drowned in a grey-yellow sauce, served on a plain white dish, accompanied by grey, homogenous rice. Prison cafeteria food has better presentation than this, and more color. $65 for two sallow colored pieces of food. If I didn't have depression, I do now. See the attached pictures. My description doesn't do it justice. On a brighter note, our server, Jonathan, was exemplary. I told him flat out: he needs to find a better place to work. His talents are wasted here and the food will ruin his career. The bathrooms were above average. Oddly there is a staff member posted because people continually make the wrong turn and he directed everyone away from the kitchen. The bathrooms themselves were clean but unlike the dining room very dark! I mean pull out your cell phone and use the camera light dark. Nice, I suppose. We concluded with the chocolate garnish cake. Clearly another chef was in charge of the desserts. The chocolate had an excellent balance between dark cacao with hints of woody bitterness versus sweetness and the texture of the icing and sponge was a perfect contrast of soft and moist. Including tip, our meal came to $400. We had three drinks, a salad, chocolate cake and a three (and a half) color entrée which came out to about $100 per color, and one of them was grey. 1-star. read more

Our server Vincenzo was outstanding and very attentive. He definitely enhanced our dining experience. He was very knowledgeable about the extensive menu. I ordered the grilled Tuna Steak. What a treat! It was delicious and perfectly prepared. My wife had the Langoustine Scampi, also off the grill. Another hit. Both dishes came with a salad. A tomato salad with the Tuna and mixed greens with the Langoustine Scampi. Both were delicious.We shared an order of Gnocchi, which was recommended in a previous review. Totally worth it! We had a disabled person in our group. They have no waiting area seating other than the bar, which has high stools which also don't accommodate someone with a disability. Our table was ready so I explained the situation to the manager. He was aggressively rude to me at the request. Said "too bad", shrugged smugly, and refused to let her sit until the whole party was there. He literally made a disabled woman stand there in pain instead of letting her sit. Disgusting. read more
