I had fairly high hopes for a Wynn restaurant that was as cute at this one. Service was not memorable so I am going to say it wasn't terrible but probably average. We went in for a late night snack as this place is always busy. The pizza was actually really good, but everything else was a miss. The meat and cheese board was pretty sad with just a ball of mozz. Ravioli was cold and meh. For sure won't be coming back by choice. read more

Allegro, located at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas, is a delightful casual Italian restaurant that offers a comforting and satisfying dining experience. The attentive and friendly service from the bartenders were not only skilled at crafting delicious cocktails but also took the time to engage in conversation and provide recommendations from the menu. Speaking of the menu, Allegro offers a range of classic Italian dishes that are sure to please any palate. The place is certainly not a Cipriani but also half the prices. Menu items are very reasonable and great comfort food. The overall atmosphere of Allegro is warm and inviting, with a cozy yet sophisticated décor. Decided to come here and get a few appetizers before having a later dinner but off course order a lot of food and it turned into having dinner not only appetizers. Food was good my favorite was the Bruschetta plate, the tomatoes where very fresh and everything on the plate went so well together filled with many flavors. Going to the Encore Theater for a show, had to take the opportunity to try one of the Wynn/Encore restaurants. With less than a few days notice, was able to grab a reservation at Allegro, which is just steps away from the theater entrance! Allegro is an Italian restaurant and the Wynn website describes it as casual dining but, casual maybe for Wynn standards. Good thing we were with reservations because that host table always had guests standing by, waiting for a table. Once seated, we were handed the menu and I found it pleasantly simple with just two pages. Our server Fernando, was nice to ask about our allergies/diets and I thought, "Nice! They'll customize our dishes to suit our preferences." But then moments later he returned and handed me a special dietary menu. Nonetheless, it was convenient in that it categorizes shellfish-, wheat/gluten-, and dairy-free options. We ordered a number of dishes: Calamari ($22), Minestrone Soup ($14), Grilled Wild Isles Salmon ($38), and a Pizza. The pizza, we were able to order half and half like we used to do at Pizza Hut. The pizza comes in the size similar to your placemat, in a super thin crispy bread so we ordered half Margherita and half Bosco ($25). Perhaps, it's because I don't regular Italian food as much as other cuisines, but the meal didn't blow me away. All in all, the food was delicious and I have only good to say of the food. However! This was a Saturday night, and because Allegro is so great, this place was packed! The restaurant is located at a well-travelled, major walkway intersection and there was so much foot traffic. Plus, our table was pretty much right behind the host, in the center of the front entrance, and there so many distractions with not much privacy. I regret not ordering the meatballs! I mean everything is exceptionally delicious, from the rustic bread, scrumptious salads, superb octopus appetizer, and the many delicious main courses. The food isn't phenomenal, but it's better than expected. The best part of the experience was the meatballs and our server. I wish I remembered his name. We went on December 27th 2023 around 10-11 p.m. He was very respectful and came by enough to check in on us. He also made sure to split the food down 4 ways for us so it was easier to eat. The environment in the inside was quieter than expected and dim lights just the way I like it. It was a little crammed, but we got a better spot in the back away from the entrance and noise. They seated us very quickly for a walk-in as well. The pasta was cooked well but bland for my liking. I recommend the meatballs and pepperoni pizza. read more

Probably one of the worst Caesar salads I've ever had. It came out to $36 with protein and it was inedible. The croutons were stale and the dressing tasted like it came from a giant Costco jug. Calamari was okay and the meatballs were good but I was taken aback by the Caesar. Cocktails were good as well. It is on the more affordable side for the location but the food really fell flat. I don't often write reviews, but my experience at Allegro at the Wynn was so unpleasant that I feel like I have to. The manager, Sunmer, was incredibly rude and condescending. Her attitude was completely uncalled for and made me feel disrespected and unwelcome. She acted in a way that was so unprofessional and hostile, I had no choice but to leave the restaurant. This is not what you expect from a place in the Wynn. A manager should know how to handle guests with respect not treat them like a problem. Really disappointing experience. We came to Allegro late at night after our flight was delayed and we did not have the option of dining at Delilah, as planned. Fortunately, we were able to make it in time for a drink before last call at Delilah. The excellent bartender there - we can see why it's one of the best hidden gems in town - recommended Allegro as a place to find excellent food after midnight. (This was a Thursday.) Not only did his recommendation turn out to be excellent, but Allegro was the surprise culinary hit of the trip. It was the only place we dined that wasn't pre-planned, and it was by far the best. The servers took excellent care of us, with fabulous cocktails and warm service. My friend and I split the burrata appetizer, and he had the meatballs appetizer while I had the calamari. It was more than enough food after a long day of stressful travel to thoroughly sate us. Every bite was more delicious than the last. We were so relieved not to have to settle for fast food after such a challenging day. That it was of such excellent quality made us feel doubly blessed. In fact, there wasn't a single employee we spoke to on Wynn property - and we asked many questions - who wasn't polite and extremely helpful. We waited two hours for a table and let me tell you it's NOT WORTH THE WAIT! The food we ordered is below average for an Italian restaurant and way over priced for no obvious reason. The lobster pasta was not tasty at all. One lobster tail cut in half and couple pieces of shrimp and veal chop was even worse, no flavor no taste. If you can go somewhere else please do. In Vegas you have to be very careful not be ripped off by the celebrity chef restaurants recommended by the You Tubers! Most of them offer precooked stalled food and charge a lot of money but not Allegro! Good Italian pasta and pizza with reasonable price in a very nice ambiance. A little too much sauce on the Lasagna but it was still very good. They even offer different wine glass portions. They bring you a fresh bread and garlic olive oil. Fantastic service! read more

Allegro is a fabulous restaurant located at the Wynn and everything about it was impressive. In particular, the staff was incredibly service oriented and attentive. We met Marco the restaurant manager and had a most pleasant conversation and complemented him that everyone that we have met at the Wynn is positive, smiles on their faces and the most professional hotel personnel anywhere. Furthermore, the cocktails, wine, appetizer, and main courses that we had were excellent. My first experience at Allegro was less than stellar, however I truly believe that any business can have off day/moment- it's not so much about preventing things from going wrong (which would be futile), it's more about how a business handles the occasional hiccup... and Allegro went above and beyond to make it (see my original review for details if curious about my first experience) right! Came here for a corporate event with dinner and drinks and was highly impressed with the food and service. Great selection of cocktails and top shelf liquor, I got the rum punch which was tasty with great fruit flavor but not too sweet. The food is very traditional and I'd highly recommend particularly if you have kids or others who like high quality Italian cuisine which is not exotic. The pizza has a very interesting crispy and ultra thin feel , sort of like the well known colony grill in CT; calamari is fresh while the bruschetta strikes the perfect balance of being chewable but not soggy. Comfortable and spacious seating also. Prime location right in between Wynn and Encore makes this a worthwhile stop. read more

Visited 12/22/21, it's hard to resist the amazing thin crust wood fired mushroom pizza at Allegro. The complimentary fresh bread with a side of olive oil and roasted garlic is similarly most enjoyable. Ordered a side of homemade meatballs as my main entree. Service was again stellar, hats off to Jorge for being attentive, helpful and welcoming. Everyone working at Allegro tonight was spot on with water, serving dishes while hot, efficient seating, etc, like a fine tuned clock I appreciate the great variety and creative vegetarian options throughout Wynn for my friends and family that prefer non meat dishes. Just what we wanted! Warm and friendly service. We walked in with no reservation and they took us in within minutes. We had an fantastic Negroni Mediterráneo or a white Negroni. It was fantastic! First time I ever had a caper berry as a garnish. Dinner was quality, and made with fresh ingredients. The calamari was tender, lightly fried over a bed of ricotta and and marinara. We had a late flight and checked in around 10pm and was starving but also excited to party ;) so we walked around the hotel and saw Allegro open and decided to give this spot a try. We started off with some Hennessy VSOP shots ;) then ordered some appetizers to snack on! 1st dish - fried calamari... ok, so when I think of fried calamari, I think crispy. unfortunately, in this case it was a bit too soggy for us and we weren't a fan. 2nd dish - Bibb and Melon Salad.. which contained of cherry tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, endive, and basil and mint vinaigrette.. this was super refreshing and delicious! My favorite thing of the night 3rd dish - the meatball... honestly, nothing spectacular about this dish, they were just huge (yeah, I know.. that's what she said). The portions were huge and we couldn't finish. The food was standard, not different from other Italian restaurants. I wouldn't categorize it as fine dining. Nevertheless it was a nice place to dine and watch everything happening around you at Wynn. 4*BURRATA CAPRESE included Housemade Burrata, Rosa Bruno, Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, Basil Pine Nut Pesto, and Balsamic Reduction. It was fresh and healthy. 3*CHICKEN PARMIGIANA included Pounded Chicken Breast, Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, and Spaghetti: lots of spaghetti, maybe too much. 3*RISOTTO PESCATERA included Shrimp, Mussels, Clams Octopus, Scallops: plenty of seafood. The vibe of the restaurant is a pretty upscale take on pasta and pizza. It is a pretty dim lit place, something pretty common with casino dining I've noticed. The servers were lovely and very accommodating. No complaints there. That being said the food was okay. The complimentary bread was way too hard and I had to rip it off with my teeth which turned me away from eating more of it. I did like the Caesar salad, but keep in mind it is very dressed which might not be everyone's cup of tea. The calamari was inconsistent with its seasoning as people at my party kept mentioning getting bites of food that were salty or spicy at random points while eating (the spice was definitely not expected either). The ricotta in the dish was also a bit too acidic, but that could be a preference. Off to the main courses! I was absolutely shocked to see the quality of the food for the price. The salmon itself was kind of plain, but the clams were so salty! The clams were also full of cappers that made the texture off putting. Next the Margherita pizza was nothing short of disappointing. It was so thin and it felt more like eating crackers with sauce than a pizza. One of my biggest turn offs with restaurants like this is that the prices are absolutely not justifiable given the quality. There are better food places in the Wynn, please give one of them a try. read more

The head chef Enzo is a true Italian and his menu displays what can only be described as authentic Italian food. The octopus was one of my favorite dishes, is tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. FYI this restaurant is in the main said of the Wynn. Dress code is very much Casino so don't come in gym cloths but you also don't need to be in shirt and tie. I came here for dinner with my team to celebrate our store opening. The restaurant is located in the Wynn and is right by the casino. We were greeted by the chef as well as the hostess and we're seated at a lovely table. We ordered Italian sparkling wine that was recommended, and was excellent! We had salmon pizza to start, as an appetizer and it was excellent! We all ordered different entrees and enjoyed them very much. I got the lobster fra diavolo. Nothing special about the food here for the prices they charge. You could eat better at one of the other restaurants at the Wynn/Encore hotel and casino in Las Vegas. While the rigatoni with meatballs were good they weren't $36 good. I found the basket of bread hard to chew and only ate half of one slice. Wifey found the pizza margherita blend. The iced tea was good. The server was friendly and did a great job. We were in and out of there in under 30 minutes. I expected better. Nothing special about the ambiance. I wanted to be sure to leave a review for outstanding and prompt service. Came in with my boyfriend for a late dinner; 2am. We sat a two top table that was designed to sit across from each other. We decided to be that annoying couple that wanted to sit next to each other. So we moved our chairs to sit on the same side of the table. (The table was big enough to do so) but we admittedly were close to an unoccupied table next to us. No one made a fuss about us doing it but could tell it's not how service was meant to be for them. Instead of asking us to move our chairs back where they were meant to be or asking us to move to a different table.. The staff quietly and quickly move the unoccupied table that was next to us over so that we would have enough space to enjoy our meal next to each other. Service was quick, the food was great and we enjoyed our time there. Would recommend this place to everyone. read more

Just had dinner at Allegro. The appetizers were all great. The deserts were all great but the most disappointed were the roasted Sea Bass. All three of us order the same and it was very salty and way over cooked and absolute DRY. See for yourself. Need to do better. The restaurant was a bid slow but the staff and services were not what we have experienced in the past. We have been in this restaurant for at least 8-10 times. Located inside the Wynn, we were going to the new Cirque du Soleil show Awakening and decided to grab dinner beforehand. We had a reservation and was promptly seated, and a buzsser came to offer water. Minutes later our sever came over, took cocktail orders and left menus. Service was great, very attentive and asked questions about food allergies and preferences. Food was good... not great. My burrata salad was actually quite tasty, wish there had been a tad more pesto. Hubs ordered the minestrone (he said it was okay) and the lobster/shrimp fra diovola pasta and I tried it, super, super salty. Like almost inedible. My salmon was better, resting upon a bed of creamed squash, cauliflower and tomatoes, it was good, but a tad overcooked. Dessert was the sorbet flight which was yummy. I've always passed by this restaurant and finally decided to go. The food was good and we had excellent service from Taylor. I highly recommend the clam linguine. It was so tasty. I usually like it with white sauce, but this red sauce was delightful. I also ended up getting the branzino too because I couldn't choose between the two entrees. I enjoyed that as well. I only got a half portion of the clam linguine and even that was a lot. Taylor recommended the sangria along with the blood orange cosmopolitan. I thought the sangria was quite refreshing and the cosmo was flavorful. The beets salad would be better with just arugula and without the stringy lettuce. read more

So in true bachelorette style, my friends and I put on our finest linens and made plans for a nice dinner at Allegro. Our server was very attentive from the moment we sat down. The drinks started flowing early and we were having a great time. We all ordered our food and all of my friends enjoyed their food immensely. I however did not care for my pasta but the server was so good. He removed my plate and helped me figure out what I didn't like. I ended up building the perfect pasta that was much better. The server was very patient with me. Not only was he apologetic, he was very helpful and making sure I was satisfied before I left. Best service I have had in a long time. He also recommended the cheesecake from the cafe across the hall. At 2am when we returned to the hotel, I later found out how great of a recommendation it truly would.
