A good experience but not the best food, the trade off is amazing service from our waitress and a convenient location but this is not authentic Italian and it has too many missed marks. Some pros and cons. Pros: Amazing garlic bread, fresh and fluffy. Baked warm lasagna, amazing dish, tangy red sauce, gooey cheese, soft pasta sheets, it was cooked right. The truffle pizza was on point. Love the truffle flavors, the crust is perfect. Thin, crispy, crunchy, no flop crust. I love the mushroom paste on the pizza and the cheese was good. Overall wonderful experience. The octopus dish was incredible, T for tender octopus, and you can really taste the outside char from the grill on the octopus. What cuts through some of the richness is that warm spinach salad on the bottom. The rigatoni meatballs was another great dish, soft rigatoni, and the meatballs were meaty big balls sized. The meat quality than meatballs was fresh. It did taste very authentic and I love how the tangy red sauce was on point. Plus, it wasn't too watery, which was great. The beef carpaccio was good, I love the rolled style. You can really taste the capers along with the olive oil, and I really appreciate that crispy note from the bottom wafer chip. When you slice into the beef carpaccio and eat it with one fell swoop, you get the soft beef, the fresh herbs, and the capers along with the wafer. Cons: absolutely avoid the CACIO E PEPE. It was too salty, zero flavor, it tasted like regular supermarket bacon, pasta was cooked well but the sauce and the over $38 price is not worth it, we didn't finish the dish. It was a complete rip off. Just not good. The risotto was good but not great, the rice was still semi raw, some rice strands raw and hard while some were soft so it wasn't thoroughly cooked all the way. To al dente. The seafood on the risotto is fresh love the scallops, clams, and shrimp. The sauce had a good vodka sauce. All overall, bill was under $400, was it worth it? Dining here was a genuinely impressive experience from start to finish. What stood out most was the exceptional leadership demonstrated by this one particular female manager-- I believe her name is Shannel (sp). Her presence and professionalism were evident throughout the evening. She and the waiters had excellent attention to detail as we had dietary restrictions and all were handled without any issue. Every aspect of service appeared thoughtfully coordinated, creating an atmosphere that felt both welcoming and refined. So my wife and I were looking for a good dinner spot and we wanted to find somewhat at the Wynn besides The Buffet so found this place, set up reservations and arrived a little bit early after watching The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere. They sat us early and we were promptly seated. Began our meal with the Calamari and it was so fresh and delicious. My wife ordered a Tuscan Melon Sangria and I opted for the Negroni Mediterranáno. Fernando took great care of us and had wonderful recommendations! The restaurant is right on the pathway to the show and across from the main gambling area so there is always something to see while you dine. Couldn't believe that a full blown restaurant was open until 3am but boy were we glad! (Also, not sure why I'm surprised since it's Las Vegas, reminds me of the good ol old school LV back in the day). Typically only cafes and pizza places are open late night. I was looking for a place to have a drink with a friend after the sports bar closed -- enter Allegro. First of all a nice location with a clean dark almost steakhouse feel. We were immediately seated and helped. It was great. The server was fantastic and easily learned my preferences. I think it is open pretty late... which was nice. The drinks were good and they have luxardo cherries which -- ARE MY FAVORITE. The menu looked good on the first visit but we did drinks only. ENTER NIGHT TWO. Extremely nice dinner for business. Listen this location hit the mark. We shared the meatballs which were awesome. I got a pizza which was divine. I wasn't so sure about it as it had like a truffle sauce and sometimes that can overwhelm. NOPE it was delicious. The salads we had were awesome as well. The server remembered me from my drink visit days before and auto brought me some cherries -- what what?? So impressed. She wasn't our server that evening but made sure I had some anyway. We were sat by the open kitchen. Usually I'd enjoy it but today, I hear the hustling but also heard the gripe when I had them hold our entree because our salad didn't come out yet. About a week ago we had dinner here with old friends - was exactly the kind of evening you hope for--great conversation, lots of laughter, and a restaurant that made the experience even more memorable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this restaurant is being led by a manager who truly understands hospitality. The dining room ran smoothly, the staff was attentive without being intrusive, and there was a genuine warmth that made us feel welcome from start to finish. What really stood out was the attention to detail and every member of the team seemed engaged and happy to be there. The blonde manager, I believe her name is Chanel or Shanelle (not sure of spelling), she was leading the charge. Even though the restaurant was quite full she was touching the tables and interacting with everyone with a beautiful smile. Not small feat as I know firsthand how much effort goes into running a restaurant - this team made it look effortless. The food certainly held its own -the ingredients were fresh, the execution was consistent, and it was obvious that quality is a priority in the kitchen. I fell in love with the spicy pasta Fra Diavolo! Kudos to this manager Chanel/Shanelle and staff for creating a restaurant where exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail come together so naturally. Our waitress, Mari was so friendly and accommodating because we were watching the 49er game on one of their screens and someone happened to change it. This is our first time going as my friend told me they had the best pizza in Vegas, and I wouldn't disagree with him. The interior is beautiful and service is excellent. Here's what we ordered: Eggplant parmsean: I've had really good eggplant parms but this one did it for me today. It is literally the MOST spectacular dish here and the eggplant was made to perfect. There is just enough sauce and the crispy mozarella cheese on top is top knotch. Burrata Caprese: I was originally not planning on eating this but their fresh tomatoes paired with basil pine nut pesto and balsamic sauce is the best. I've never had anything like this before, I was truly impressed. Minestrone soup: this was our least favorite dish amongst all the other delicious dishes but still good enough. Margherita pizza: this was my friend's favorite and it was definitely one of the most delicious margherita pizza. It wasn't super chewy as sometimes marghertia pizzas tend to be. Bosco pizza: definitely the BEST pizza in town. It's crispy on the outside and bottom but creamy with the ricotta cheese on the top. It's a perfect bite without too much truffle oil and I was left speechless. I would definitely come back. Broccoli & mascaprone ravioli: one of the best ravioli as it's extremely flavorful and creamy. Not oily at all and perfect texture. Lemon semifreddo: quiet to the contrary, it wasn't bad at all. Lemon flavor wasn't too strong and the texture was surprisingly well balanced. I'm usually a chocolate fan for dessert but this was nice for a switch up. read more

We made reservations here ahead of seeing Awakening at Wynn Las Vegas, and it turned out to be a pleasant enough stop -- just not a memorable one. Right from the start, things looked promising. For my entrée, I ordered the lasagna since it had been a while. Unfortunately, while it wasn't bad, it didn't quite measure up to the rich, hearty East Coast-style lasagna I'm used to -- the kind lovingly made by Italian mamas. It just didn't have that "wow factor" or depth of flavor I was hoping for. My wife ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce, and I have to admit that was a winner. When I sampled a bite, it was creamy, well-balanced, and genuinely tasty. We finished by sharing an almond dessert that sounded better on the menu than it tasted. I was expecting a bold almond flavor, but instead it leaned more toward chocolate notes and didn't really come together for me. Overall, I'm glad we tried it, especially since it fit nicely into our evening plans. Service and atmosphere were good, and parts of the meal were enjoyable. I've always walked by Allegro and it seems pretty busy every time I've passed by so was excited to finally try it. The Lobster Fra Diavolo was absolutely divine! The pasta tasted so fresh and was perfectly al dente. The dish also came out piping hot which was awesome. For the price, I felt like this pasta dish was a really good deal. My friend and I also shared the Margherita pizza as a starter and it looks huge but the crust is so thin and delicious. I was so hungry I totally forgot to take a photo of the pizza. Whoops! The spicy Margarita was also not what I expected would come out but turned out to be really delicious. The service was okay, but the pace of service was a bit off which would have been annoying if we were in a rush. Luckily we had plenty of time before "Awakening" so it was fine, but it took awhile for us to get our check and the server barely checked in on us to make sure we didn't need another drink or anything. If you're coming to a show here at the Wynn and Encore Hotel and Casino you could definitely go a lot of directions for dinner, but none is more convenient and in my opinion tastier than Allegro. This is my second time here the first time was back when Le Reve was still going on here at the hotel. On this night, we were going to go to Lionel Richie concert and stopped in here for dinner before the fact. Because it was a weeknight and the strip was shut down for a couple reasons, including building up the F1 and the Las Vegas Aces parade. We didn't know what time we would make it to the hotel. We ended up showing up about 45 minutes early and they were more than willing to see us right away. We started with the burrata salad and then had the margarita flatbread. Both were incredible. We decided to go with dessert at that point instead of an entrée just because we were already feeling full from all the carbs. I went with what was called a rum baba and she had the gelato trio. The restaurant is very stylish with very nice comfortable, red leather chairs and the service was very good. Definitely a spot to consider if you're coming for a show or staying at the hotel itself you just can't go wrong. I almost forgot the Tuscan melon sangria is definitely worth a try.! read more

With my Mom in town, she really wanted to check out the Allegro at the Wynn and made reservations ahead of time - dinner @ 4:00pm for 6pax! Let's start with parking! Self parking entry is right off the Las Vegas Blvd and I would recommend parking on the rooftop. Parking for 0-3 hrs is free! Which was great cause we arrived at 3:45 and left around 5:30! One of our favorite Italian restaurants whenever we visit Vegas and stay at the Wynn! Being celiac, they are very accommodating with my gluten allergy and even have a gluten-free menu option, as well as gluten-free bread. We love all the servers that work there and take care of us and a huge shout out to Pete that always make sure every event is super memorable!
