I hired this company to move me from phoenix to buckeye. They arrived at 6am. I had a 2br 2br. They took 15 and a half hours to move me. They broke my fish tank. They broke my livingroom lamps. They broke my tv. They charge outrageous prices for horrible service. The movers were slow and very unprofessional. I thought they were hi. They actually had a conversation with me about their drug use, (Marijuana). Nothing against it, i just dont want to hear about it from the movers when I hire them for my job. I disputed with the about my broken items. The answer i got was "you signed a waiver". If you need a moving company dont hire them. You will have broken items and no resolution or reimbursement. Sexiest, uncomfortable, and very unprofessional. I went here for an interview thinking it's a great opportunity for me. The man that was going to give me an interview started talking about a lady that he didn't think she would do it. Then he starts trying to whisper to another guy saying I'm just a cashier. Called for a quote to move cross country. Lynn Crane came out three days later on a Monday to take pictures of our furniture to give us a quote. By Friday I still had no quote and no follow up email or phone call. On Friday I called Lynn Crane and she told me she had no trucks for the entire month of July so she wasn't going to give me a quote. I asked her about August and she said she basically had no trucks for the month of August. I asked her what the quote would have been, to compare to other companies, and she said since she had no trucks she would not give me a quote. And that was that. Quite unprofessional. read more

I'm not sure if I'm writing a review for the same company. The phone number is different and so is the address I was given, but the website is correct.... so here I go. I've used these guys twice already. I'll give you the rundown for both experiences: As with any moving company, you need to provide accurate info and ask as many questions as possible. These guys are insured, bonded, members of the BBB and came highly recommended by a friend. I contacted them for their rates and surcharges. They gave me their minimums, fuel surcharges, credit card surcharges (illegal, but everyone seems to do it) and labor rates. I received a quote, told them upfront that I was possibly using a CC so they could include that charge and set up a date. They arrived 15 minutes early. Since I had everything ready to go, they packed up my 2 bedroom apartment into their truck in less than one hour. They drove it to the rental house and had everything unpacked, assembled and cleaned out of the truck in less than 2 hours. I was completely shocked. Nothing was broken. They assembled heavy furniture for me. They helped arrange my other furniture so I didn't have to move a lot of large items. They arrived at my apartment at 8 am and it wasn't even noon and they were done. Traveling, unloading, assembling, everything. What they quoted me was damn close to what I paid. I think I paid about $20 over, but not bad considering if I had done this myself, it would have taken all day, or even two days to do what they did in just over 3 hours. So about 18 months later... I found myself in a very difficult situation. Laid off, separated from spouse and had to move from a 3 bedroom house back to a 2 bedroom apartment. I called them again. Got all the rates and such like I did before. Packed everything up and waited for my move date. They arrived early again. But this time, they kinda lurked around like they were lost inside my house for about 20 minutes. I finally said I wasn't paying them to admire, I was paying them to MOVE. They moved alright. Once they got going, they had everything in the truck and moved into my apartment in less then 4 hours.... again. Loved it. They assembled my bedframes and such again. Although they seemed not as motivated as the first crew, they still did a great job. The only reason why they don't receive a 5 star rating was the lurking around bit. Again, what I was quoted was very close to what I paid. I am buying a house and have to be out of my apartment on the 25th, so they will be moving me again. I will be utilizing their storage services until I close on my home, so I will "yelp" again and let you know how I feel about that service. read more

This is a great moving company I had my moving done with them back in 2013. Because their trucks are so large I was able to get all my moving done in one trip, their storage facility is really great as well it's huge, I added some pictures to this review. The owner is very nice he will sit down and talk with you and make sure all your questions are answered. Also I should mention the price was very competitive with other movies companies in town, very affordable. The building location was very simple to find it is nicely located and easy to find. They are eager to get your business and money, but if you have a problem with their service, suddenly the phones don't work and no one is available to take your call! I will never use them again. I called to schedule a move, giving the rep the full details of my home and belongings. He called back with a quote of cost and time needed which was acceptable. But on the day of the move, last-minute I was informed by the dispatcher that one of the movers (of 3) was not available. Then, when the other 2 movers arrived 30 minutes late, the first thing they asked was "Do you have to move TODAY?". What??? Apparently, the rep who scheduled the appointment had found a previous record of a move I had done with them, and used that old information of home contents and home description, rather than the lengthy data I provided just days before. So the movers were unprepared to move me. The two movers did the move, but overall it took 2X as long and cost over 50% of the quote. Much of the time was wasted in the movers calling dispatch and being repeatedly promised a 3rd mover would arrive to help. In fact, over 1.5 hours was no work going on as the first 2 movers waited for the third! And I was charged for this time! And, I was charged overtime since the entire move took 9.5 hours vs. the quoted 4. I tried repeatedly to contact the rep who took my original call or a manager, but no one was ever in the office, or seemed to know when anyone WOULD be in. In the end, no one ever called me back, after 5 or so calls. I do not recommend this company to anyone, unless you are looking to waste your time and throw away your money on bad service. read more

Beware of this moving and storage co . They are absolutely Thieves and rip off artists ! 1. Bait and switch 2. They loose or steal your items ! we have many boxes missing of important items! 3. We stored our items there for a period of time and we were told they were in vaults , my husband drops in one day and our furniture is stored in their front office ! We were also told by a employee that some of our other things had been stored in a truck in the extreme Arizona heat when we were paying for air cooled ! 4 They left our boxes out side in the rain overnight forgetting to put on the truck for morning delivery boxes came soaked and ripped open -the employees told us themselves this is what had happened . 5. Damaged and broken items they refuse to handle repair or reimbursements when their employees damaged them in the move transit They actually lie and say that our things were damaged and broken when they originally picked them up ! They are absolute liars This is a Warning !! Don't trust this company don't think twice you will be very sorry ! They should change their names to professional thieves read more

I can't really say how Alliance performs as a moving company, because we never got our quote. Mr. Furtney spent quite some time with us, assessing our needs and describing the process, but then never sent us a quote. We had been impressed at the beginning. P.S. After reading this review, Mr. Furtney called to determine where things had gone wrong. Apparently a misunderstanding between us, and he really wants to make things right. I've tried some other moving services, but I always end up back here.They're not the cheapest; but they are the most careful, hard-working and honest movers I've ever hired. I just moved from Gilbert Az. to South Phoenix and used Alliance Proffessional Moving company. Using moving companies for me is a splurge, but I was juggling a lot and needed help and I had personally met the owner before my move and he is a very kind person and i knew that would translate to the rest of his business. Sure enough, the movers I got too were very kind and patient. I ask lots of questions and tend to give a few orders, so patience is needed to move me ;-). It wasn't until they started working that I reallized, there was no way I could have done the move with just a couple of friends. This was in the middle of Summer and the temps were near 110, but the movers worked their butts off. (I kept them hydrated). I am an artist and I was very concerned about my 3'x4' paintings as well as my 55: TV, but these guys carefully wrapped each of those items and NOT one thing was damaged. This was a relief compared to when I had friends help move my refriderator in to the previous house in Gilbert and we damaged my floor. Alliance movers, however, had to move 2 fridges (old out, new in) as well as washer/dryer upstairs on wood floors and did a perfect job. Also, one of the fridges is very deep with the handles, and they took the time to remove the door handles that stick out about 3-4 inches. They were very maticulous in every thing they did, yet very quick. I wound up giving them a nice tip and will certainly consider using them in the future. Also note that you pay the movers by the hour, so I did as much work as I could to save money. I recommend not only doing that, but there's no reason you can't still invite friends and family to help to move the small stuff. read more

We hired Alliance to move our residential furniture locally to our new home. We worked w/ Jim. The customer service was excellent from his first answering the phone as we inquired about their company, price and availability, to the elbow bump between us after the last piece of furniture was carefully placed in our new home and payment made. We had several very old antique/family heirloom pieces. Each was given special care the whole time on moving day. The crew worked very well together. Jim himself was there with the crew supervising and helping out accordingly. The house we moved in already had some furniture in it. They were very kind to move that furniture to a different places within the home! One guy had to take apart one of our storage style beds in the old home, and then he put it all back together perfectly in the new home. Each worker was eager to please and do an incredible job. At payment, the final price was less than the quote. We are very happy with this moving company and am pleased to give a top review. Will recommend them to anyone. read more
