We had Carvestone installed on our walkway and stairs in our back yard. The surface looked great and seemed to be durable. Per warranty requirements, we contacted the company to have cleaning and re-sealing done. A crew showed up and spent 3 hours cleaning and re-sealing. They didn't get the joints clean and informed me that this was extra $$. We were already paying an exorbitant rate for the cleaning and I expected more. When I contacted the company, I was told that they will perform to the letter of the contract that I signed and no more. Attempts to escalate our dissatisfaction went nowhere. You decide whether you would do business with this company. read more

Allied Outdoor Solutions is a company that lacks integrity. They talk a good talk but deliver BS. I hired the company for a job at Cinco Ranch. It was raining when they were supposed to finish. They were supposed to get back to apply some acrylic solutions. I never saw them until today. The worst mistake that we made was to let them apply to Synchrony for credit. They billed Synchrony without our knowledge. I surmise that the reason they never came back to finish the job was because they got paid. Make sure that you get your own credit or pay cash until after job is done. They are scums and scammers. read more

Allied Outdoor Solutions was a "No Call - No Show" for a confirmed appointment on 10/9/21. After going through a beauty contest via ZOOM and having my appointment confirmed, (they called me to confirm). They failed to show....I fulfilled every requirement set before me. My job was either too small, likely $10k, or I did not pass the beauty contest. I have waited nearly a month to give these folks an opportunity to explain what the heck happened. I have two neighbors who were waiting to see how Allied performed on my pool, I will gladly walk down the street and advise my neighbors not to even bother calling these guys, hopefully I can steer more business away from Allied, they don`t deserve the business. read more

I used this company for expanding an outside porch with a pergola. The work was good but the process could have been better. The initial person I spoke with was shown what I wanted. He drew it up but what we discussed wasn't quite what was drawn up. So be sure you are out with them to draw it up. Also at the end of the project I pointed out that some of the beams were not square. They said it was an easy fix and said someone would come out to fix it and had me sign their completed form. I never heard from them again. So lack of detail and follow up could be much better. read more

We used Allied to remove a previous walkway and install a paver walkway around our garage along with placing sod and sprinklers. The work was done quickly and turned out really well. It completely changed the look of our driveway and back yard and looks so much nicer. Stephen, Noah and Justin were all great to work with and helpful during the whole process from picking materials, scheduling and working with us when we changed up the design a little. Horrible customer service. Cannot stress this enough. While Allied was happy to take my 25K for a Carvestone patio project and they did do a pretty decent job, I cannot get a response from them for some maintenance (resealing) and warranty work in over 6 weeks of trying. I have called numerous times and left voicemails. Someone (Brant) finally called me back and lied to me saying he emailed me several weeks previously. Which he did not.( I even checked my junk box.) I have sent in online requests for service and I called back again. and again. and again. No one is interested in doing any of the periodic maintenance work. It is my understanding that If I do not get the two year maintenance done, my warranty is voided. This is just a way for them to not warranty their work. Please Please Please do not use them. I did not want to leave such a bad review, but they really left me no other choice. I think 6 weeks is long enough to return a phone call. read more

From the initial impression of the salesman (Brandon), through pre-construction (Madison & Brad), construction (Miguel and Colton), the communication from Allied people was excellent and timely regarding the process, changes and answering our questions. The skill of the workers was outstanding and they worked extremely hard during challenging high temp days (Mariano - pavers & drainage, and the concrete crew). They also went above and beyond to identify and adjust things to make sure the result was better than expected. The workspace was clean and everything was put back in place when they left. We recently had Allied Outdoor Solutions do an extensive Carvestone overlay on our driveway. The design not only improved the aesthetics but served a practical purpose by incorporating several existing cracks into the design to provide protection from further deterioration from weather conditions. From the get go, I was impressed with how easy it was to work with them. Our salesperson Ryan was spot on with his communication and attempts to give us all of the information we needed to make the decision. He answered all of our questions and followed up to make sure things went well and that we were satisfied. And we can not say enough about Austen who supervised the process. His crew led by Francisco was efficient, easy to work with and was patient in satisfying all our requests. I have used many contractors over the years, and I can attest that Allied has been one of the best. Great service and a great product- it was the perfect choice for us! Just had a slab, fire pit, irrigation, landscaping and pool deck resurfaced. The end product looks great and functioning as expected, but the time it took and their attentiveness to our schedule was very subpar! We were told 7 weeks from start to finish, it actually took 12, the entire summer lost. Customer service is ridiculous and not sure how anyone who works can work with their scheduling! Will never use them again, unfortunately we still need our outdoor kitchen done, but will have to look for a more reliable and timely company. I would give them a 1 star, but the end result does look nice. read more

Ashley had a few things wrong. I have a signed contract on this house. I simply have not closed. The foundation is poured, and the house is framed with a shingled roof. The patio and garage can be measured accurately. I had three other contractors have no problem preparing a bid for me. As soon as the home is complete, I will close on the house. The house should be complete in December, but with the holidays, I'm not ruling out January. So much for planning! read more

We absolutely do not recommend using Allied Outdoor Solutions! (AOS) Signed a contract with them in March and absolutely nothing has been done. After what can only be described as poor communications, I finally spoke with Jordan Winar, Head of Sales (?) on/about May 10 and he promised to get things moving. One week later, we had a start date of June 11 that was confirmed by email. I immediately emailed AOS back with questions regarding what to expect when they workers arrived so we could prepare - no answer at all until one week later when someone else called to say the job would start on June 14 instead of June 11. I again sent an email, this time to our salesperson asking specific questions about the project. This email was sent on May 27 and, again, no response. One week before the new start date of June 14, I called the "Scheduler" and was told there might (might) be a delay but she would let me know that day. No call. I called the next day and was told it still was not decided but she would call that day to let me know. No call. By Friday the 11th, I again had to call her and she said to put all of our concerns in writing which I did with a note to let me know by the end of the day if there was a plan. I even asked that she contact me, even if it was to let me know there was no plan. By Wednesday, June 16 of the next week - 2 days after the last schedule had them starting the project, I had not even received a call back to say it had been delayed. I called the financing company and was assured they would not pay for work that was not done and I immediately emailed Allied advising them that were were cancelling our contract. As someone else put it, you have been warned! While we are disappointed that we have wasted these months waiting on this unprofessional group, we are glad we did not have to endure this treatment after they had actually started any work! By the way, this was a $55,000 project. We would never, ever, recommend this company! read more

Process was a bit longer than I had hoped it would be, however that is more a testament to the demand as well as issues with waiting on weather more than anything else. Daniel was our Project Manager and did a great job of walking us through the process. He matched our new walkway and patio to existing work with regard to stamping and color match was spot on. Crew that did the formwork in advance of the poor was great. We were actually gone during the pour and sealing process but returned home to the finished product and could not be happier with the work done by the Allied crews. Very disappointed in the entire process. We signed a contract in March, 2019. Picked out new tile for the pool resurfacing on 04/13/2019. Allied Outdoor Solutions finally started on the resurfacing on 06/01/2019. Tile was no longer available and we had to pick out something else. They should have had the rock fountain acid washed before the pool was resurfaced but, didn't get to until 07/20/2019. Supervisor showed up before anything was started and we haven't seen him since (and I work from home; here all day). Still don't know when we will ever get the decking done. Poor processes and procedures. Lack of communication. I have had to be the one that calls them for everything to find out what is going on. Will absolutely never use them again. I could have had 3 new pools installed in the time it has taken them to resurface & tile my pool. Very sad. read more

Wanted to add a stamped concrete patio to look like a wood deck. Allied installed the concrete in one day then came back a few days later to pressure wash and stain it dark brown to look like real wood. Proper drainage was planned and the concrete was laser leveled to allow water runoff to an existing drain. The crew made sure everything was done to the highest standards. The folks at Allied used carvestone to replace our old and peeling cooldeck. They also did drainage work for our new gutters and a problem area in the pool deck. We had to wait a couple of months because of the high volume of work that they have but they kept us updated and I never had to "chase" after anyone. Allied had a project manager for the drainage and another for the carvestone. They met with me before the job addressing questions and concerns and explaining what to expect. They were professional, courteous and did an amazing job. As can happen, we had a couple of items after the job that needed tweeking. This is when you really find out the kind of customer service a company has and they were great! They came back out and took care of everything. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I had a virtual appt with a consultant who would forward my needs to the rep in my area. A week later I had a set appt. Kevin never showed up. He called 15 before he was due to arrive and left a message about having an eye issue and it looked bad so he didn't want to come but could come the following day. Whatever. He knew all day he had this eye issue and couldn't call sooner?? He passed the blame on to the scheduling office in Texas and said they were in 'meetings all day' and must have forgot to call me to cancel. He finally showed up at 6 pm on Friday, after he called twice on the way over to ask if we could reschedule, we had a pretty in depth meeting once he showed up. We have an open budget and are looking at a huge protect here, I have a current estimate for close to six figures. Which is fine with me. Kevin really wanted to sell us on this companies signature product of the stamped concrete product. We were not interested once we saw this close up in a photo he showed us. It's just not our taste. We are looking for a more seamless look with what we will be adding on to. It seemed that once we made this clear, the meeting was concluding. He asked if he could come by on Sunday at 130 to take some measurements. Never showed up. Never called. It's now four days later. Don't waste your time with this company. We had problems with this company throughout the construction. They did not come to remove the forms from the concrete work for about a month. This put a delay in my own construction person that was building a covered porch. We had problem after problem with the carvestone side of the company. It took forever for anyone to call us back when we expressed a concern about their work.(I have documentation of all my conversations and calls. Many times they never returned a call.) Also, it seems that everyone was a project manager. They definitely had too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The work they did perform had to be done over several times because they had inexperienced workers doing the job. If I wouldn't have caught the numerous mistakes, they would have been okay with the job performed. Not until I got really upset, did they send an experienced worker to oversee the job. (I should have gotten paid by them for being the project manager!) I will never, ever use or recommend them to anyone. This company was great to work with. We had pool decking that was pulling away from the pool and a pool spa area that was sinking. ( spa very small and filled with concrete by previous owners.). Replaced concrete where needed and found crack in pool wall against spa area. After repairs made, they did flagstone carvestone around the pool and all the other decking. It is absolutely gorgeous. Allied did an amazing overall job on our extensive back patio project. We extended our patio, had carve stone laid down, a privacy fence put up and an outdoor kitchen cabinet installed. They were willing to work with our requests and did each one with excellence. The timing was a little long between the extension of the patio and the carve stone installation, but the overall job was completed and done with excellence in service and in craftsmanship. The carpenter, Jesus did a fabulous job with the custom cabinets. He went above and beyond to provide a quality product. Sometimes good work takes more time but in the end, it is worth it. read more

During our first visit, our project consultant quoted us for a circular patio that was 15ft in diameter, despite multiple suggestions that in other consults I'd had it was 20 ft. We drew up the contract and agreed on a price. Before he left, I was still sure that the circle was 20ft, so I had him use a tape measure to verify, and sure enough it was 20ft. Obliviously, this would change the price of the patio, and I agreed. He apologized for the mistake and said he would send me a contract addendum the following Monday (two days after our consult) , he told me because it was his measurement error, that he would do the extra square footage at cost. He said it would probably be $300-$400. I did not hear from him for another 2 and a half weeks when he called and said the price increase would be an extra $2000. This didn't seem correct to me, especially at an "at cost" rate, so I asked him to send me a breakdown of costs. He said it would be provided that evening or early the next morning. We then don't hear from him again for another 5 days only after a long email complaining about the process thus far. We finally agree to a new price. Another 2 weeks go by before we schedule pre-construction meeting with the project manager. We still have not verified the color of our pavers at this point, which apparently the project manager does not have the ability to do, so our project manager tells us that our project consultant would reach out to us about colors, and that construction would start the following week. Not to our surprise the project consultant did not reach out to us, even after a follow up email. Asked our project manager what was going on, and still nothing for two weeks until yesterday. We finally have decided to cancel our project. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but after being given the run around for over two months, I would not recommend using this company. read more

We had the typical pool cement decking installed when we built our pool over 10 years ago. After 2 or 3 years we had fading and cracking issues. We lived with this eye sore for several years until I researched Allied Outdoor Solutions. Frankly, it sounded too good to be true, but WOW did they live up and exceed their claims. Our Carvestone is going on 3 years and it's still looks brand new! What a dream it is to wash off any dirt or stains with only hose water.
