Following the construction a large center-piece tree died and Allied very quickly accepted responsibility and worked to find a solution that further enhanced our property. Allied Outdoor Solutions was very professional and informative with their process. Initial consultation went well, we were able to verify our vision of what we wanted. Pre-work meeting with Project Manager (PM) showed great changeover notes for the job. PM was able to better clarify any technical questions we had. Scheduling was prompt and flexible. For the size of the project, the work required was done in one day. The crew was on time, polite, communicated well, and worked cleanly and efficiently. PM came out the next day to follow up with the job, and verify everything was done to our satisfaction. Crew showed up a few days after the job to remove forms, clean up plastic and scrape expansion joints clean. His cost was extremely high which when I asked him why he just told me that AOS provides top quality material. He even went on to basically claim that I am not comparing Apples to Apples. Have been a customer for several years. Scheduled maintenance last April and unable to get appointment until September. Provided photos for needed repairs. Sent one single guy to do large job. Was advised job required additional $2400. Given option to just do the 50 feet covered and not do the rest recommending a "half a.. job" This after maintenance guy had to "sit" and wait for several hours pending "approval" from his boss. Had rescheduled work to be available for last week and was called and told to reschedule so had to again reschedule work day around them. I would not use them again. I felt like I managed my own project. The original install day for my Aluminum Pergola was a Wednesday...then it was rescheduled for Friday...then rescheduled for next Monday. The materials came on the Wednesday and were left in my front yard!! I moved them myself and kept them in my garage to where we couldn't use the garage all weekend until the project resumed....5 days later. On install day they didn't have enough material for the roofing so that was postponed another 4 days just to finish one piece missing. On try number 5 (I lost count) they ended up denting the pergola and without me catching it, it wouldn't have been fixed!! At least they came back to fix it....but NO, never again with this company...... read more

While a bit apprehensive about a coating solution, I ultimately felt Allied Outdoor Solutions approach was worth the gamble. Long story short, it has been an incredible value. We have a new construction home sitting on a 1/2 acre lot with a tiny 80 square foot slab. It looks ridiculous next to our yard & home. We decided to expand our patio by 900 square feet. I was very nervous about the construction process because we have 3 large dogs, 2 young children and on top of that I was 5 months pregnant. I was just unsure how much this was going to interrupt our daily lives & I was expecting a total disaster in our backyard. I was pleasantly surprised to say it was not. The crews were amazing. They were polite & very efficient with their time. I always heard horror stories of construction crews never cleaning up & trashing the construction site. They did not. The crew was very professional & once the project was finished; everything was picked up & put back where they needed to be. Took them 2 full days to finish our whole patio expansion project. Prep the 1st day & pour on the 2nd day. They even called us out so our kids could put their little handprints on the new patio. Which made it even more special. We are very happy with the end results. The job looks amazing. We get compliments on it all the time. We used Allied 6 months later for our stone fire pit & brick columns. The fire pit was very large so it took a day & a half to complete. They ran out of material, but it didn't stop them from working. They worked on other parts of the project & they had the materials there by the end of the day. The fire pit & columns compliment the colors of our home very well. We LOVE our fire pit. We will be using Allied again for our future projects. We trust they will do quality professional work. read more

Horrible experience, save your money! Work was poor and poorly done with little contact regarding process! Had to refill pool 3 times cause they decided to do flagstone post pool resurfacing. Not to mention we had carvestone completed in May after contract was signed in Jan 2020and already chipping. Sealing stains on my resurface and chipping carvestone. Project was 25k and it still sucks and is not quality. Just initiated warranty today and noted 4 weeks for a return call to fix. Run run run.... they won't even return your call! read more

I was pleased with the initial consultation but the service steadily declined from there. Poor communication and attention to detail from scheduling to finished product. We initially called this company the last week in January. The earliest they could schedule us was three weeks later on February 16th. They never showed for their appointment. Never called us. Never sent an email. I was understanding that we didn't hear from them that day or even that entire week because that was the week Texas was hit hard with winter storms. But they never followed up...ever. Until I wrote a comment on their page explaining our negative experience with them. Then they immediately messaged me and although we played phone tag for sometime FINALLY got rescheduled. We had to wait another 2 weeks or so but they were scheduled to come this evening. Guess what? Overall, Allied did a great job on our backyard kitchen remodel. Stephen White was our project manager and he was very professional, courteous, responsive, and fair. There were a couple of work items that could've been done better, in our opinion, but to only have a couple of items on a large remodel project is good, based on our past experience. 90% of the work was exactly what we wanted and overall the end product looks great; plus, Allied stuck to the proposed budget, which was as good or better than the other bids we saw. From the salesman to the crew--respectful and first-class the whole way through. A few months later we had them redo our front walkway and porch. I am sorry Mr T. that you feel the need to disgrace a 6 thousand dollar costomer of yours. I have indeed called your office after your e-mail to me stating "that you wanted to reconnect, and do whats right" over three months ago. I never heard from you. You do not honor your warranty. The end. There was a gentleman that came out and quoted us over a hundred dollars per expansion joint. This was not a member of your team? Strange. So a complete stranger came into my home, and pretended to be someone from ALLIED to look at warranty coverage? Who then told us that it would be at leat 100 dollars per expansion joint (we have 17) to fix? Maybe instead of writing reviews late at night you should be concerned on finding this imposter. I also find it hard to believe that yelp is "filtering" all your good reviews. WHY? Seriously? On a side note.....check out the BBB. Over 20 complaints in the last year. I recently found out that as long as a company responds to the complaint (by e-mail) that the complaint goes down as "settled". That certainly does not mean that the company did anything to rectify....it just means that they responded. I will be posting pictures of the 6 thousand dollar job we recieved within 24 hours. I am not going to respond any longer to an owner of a company that does not stand behind his work/warranty. Horrible, no communication at all. We had them extend our patio. During the build they caused water damage to our house. They never called us after we mailed them pictures about the leak. The workers didn't even know the name of the Allied company because they were working for someone else. The project manager was a joke. Deck looked nice upon installation, rubber started separating after 3 months, was going to charge $200 to replace a 24" piece of rubber strip," that would've taken 10 minutes worth of work, not covered under warranty" if they're purchasing defective materials, they should make it right. Just good business practice. We are both in customer service & sales and would never just tell a customer that just spent several thousand dollars on product, "not covered" no sorry, no let me talk to someone to see what options we have, no even trying Very frustrates and unhappy. Horrible workmanship and warranty. Patio and driveway needed to be torn out and repoured as the concrete disintegrated. The warranty on the stamped concrete patio is only one year and after one year we noticed chipping paint in the entry area so we reached out to Allied to repair. Allied would not repair the patio paint as we were less than one year out of warranty but did offer to sell us a new patio for $6,000 even though we offered to pay for a portion of the repaint in the door entry. I would no recommend Allied Outdoor Solutions at all. read more
