Upon arriving, she decided to move the price up to $35 each instead of the original $20 per day don't appreciate trying to raise the price once I arrive in store. I Don't recommend this place! Super unprofessional with her hours and times- can never get a hold of the store or her. She never hems the pants to what she says or sizes the pants. For example you'll go in, she will pin you and everything looks great. But when you put on the clothes it's not as tight as what she says, the clothes will still be baggy or fit loose. You get what you pay for. Low price for low quality. Brought 7 pants in for hem service. When I went to pick them up on the day she said it would be ready (5 days), they weren't. I ended up having to come back a few days later (a total of 1 week). I should've checked my pants then, but I didn't. I just sent them straight to the dry cleaners after. As I wore each pants for work, I discovered not all the hems were complete (particularly the left side). There are these little pockets in the hem where my toes catch while putting them on. I found these problems in 4 of the pants, and one of them had a complete left side untouched. When I brought them back, she argued that she never leaves her work incomplete like that and would check her "receipts" before doing any rework. I just left and found somewhere else more reliable. Theres many other places in Vegas that will do an excellent job for just a few bucks more. I recommend A tailor right down the road. Maria is awesome and speaks both English and Spanish very well. In all fairness though, the other three pants' hems were good. So Allison deserves the one star - I guess. read more

I stopped in on a Saturday morning with this dress that was too big. Alison was super helpful and asked me to try it so she could pin it. In less than 5 mins she had it all pin and confirmed with me it was the size I wanted. She quoted me the price of $18, which I thought was great especially with the fast turnaround time. She told me it would be ready by Monday at 4. When I got there it was ready and smit for perfect! I'm now going through my closet to see what else I need to bring for alterations. I tried to hem a shirt that was too long and gave up after poking myself in multiple spots. So I took my unsteady hands to Alison (one L) Alteration on Charleston and she did a fantastic job. Now my shirt no longer acts like a Swiffer, dragging along the floor when I walk. Alison's prices are the lowest of the 3 or 4 others I called and she always gets my order done in a timely manner. I'm too clumsy to sew...why would I spend $300 for a good machine anyway when I can get Alison to do my shirts for under $10? I'm wildly confused how this place has 5 stars. I brought in about 5 items (worth about $300 all up), a few of them with sequins. I asked if they could handle sequins and they said no problem and to give them 5 days. I wasn't there to try them when I came back but upon arriving home I discovered they'd forgotten to take in sections (that still had the pins in) in 2 of them, there was loose string and worst of all they sewed ON TOP of the sequins on 2 others making them jagged and basically destroyed. And they are both easy to stretch and sew around the sequins as the they did in some parts, I just really think they didn't care. DO NOT GO HERE! The price definitely reflects the quality of this place. read more

The good - my pants were properly hemmed. The bad - despite my requesting them a certain day, when I arrived, they were closed during normal business hours and when I called, I was told they were at the DMV. On two other occasions, I arrived to find the establishment closed during business hours with a return sign. Since there are no set hours, it took me four attempts and several calls to pick up my pants. When I did, I wasn't even offered to try it on before paying for them to make sure the hem was correct. I felt like I was inconveniencing them by having my pants hemmed. They certainly do a quality job tailoring but the inconsistent hours and unfreindly service makes me reluctant to return. read more

I have went to places that charge at least $40 or more to alter/fit ONE item. This establishment has amazing pricing for the quality they display. They charge a thousand times less than most places but in the most reasonable way! They not only have great pricing but the quality is truly quality. You absolutely get what you pay for. I had come in to pickup an Item, while also altering another item while picking the other up. She said she would be able to fix my item on the spot, waiting only about 20 mins. Like the review below, I don't understand how this place has 5 stars. The price is definitely a reflection of the customer service. They will forget to tailor certain parts of the pieces then when you tell them, the owner will make it your fault and not apologize. The owner is rude and nonchalant. They claim they do same day alterations over the phone but when you get there they'll say they need a few days. When you arrive on the day they tell you pick up your items, they won't have your items ready. They hadn't even started on mine and I had to wait for her to do it right there, even though they'd had plenty of time of time to complete it. Very unorganized business. read more
